"We happened to be around Bleecker street without having any plans when suddenly stopped by this place. We were in the mood for a bottle of wine with charcuterie plate. So we decided to go in and give it a try. The hostess accommodated us quickly although the place was packed. We started with two glasses of full body red wine and the deviled eggs. Everything was really good. The charcuterie platter came after. Everything was fresh and tasty. While we were enjoying all these nice bites we were suddenly in the mood for a little more food. So we decided to do the octopus roll and the mushroom crostini. Our excitement disappeared after we realized that both plates took almost 25 minutes to come to our table. Also when we asked the server to give us a description of the mushroom crostini she bent over our menu and she read the description through it -1 star).Also both plates were nothing special. The mushroom crostini had no flavor at all when at the same time the octopus roll was a mixture of unidentified flavors and very spicy. Also the octopus itself was very chewy -1 star)."

"What a charming and surprisingly large restaurant and space! The charcuterie was a good portion and also variety, the veggies could have been a bit more firm and less soggy (but bound to happen when preparing for large quantities) but easily made up with the flavor. The meatballs are certainly the pièce de résistance. They were a beautiful blend of meats, perfectly cooked nuts and and spices. Not sure if people come here due to the video by Alex French guy cooking but i did and found it to be just as great. Will return to try the rest of the menu. P.S. they carry a full bar of libations and we're even able to make my favorite drink The Last Word .. tasty tasty tasty!"

"We went there for Sunday noon for lunch. But they only served brunch. We had two dripped coffees, sautéed mushrooms, Turkish eggs, and an egg sandwich. The sandwich was coming with potato or arugula salad. They do not let you to change the aide even for an up charge. The Turkish egg perfect. The coffees were burned and we asked for fresh coffees again and still it had a burned smell. I think they need to wash their coffee machine. The sautéed mushroom was delicious. It needed a little bit of salt though. The Bloody Mary and the pickles were phenomenally good."

"I dine around the world, mostly in Europe, at Cipriani frequently. This dinner was to mark my civil wedding earlier on the day. While the food presentation was perfect as always, the service was pushy by European and indeed by US standards when it came to alcohol. Pouring a USD 250 bottle of wine, which should have been decanted, into quasi water glasses, doesn’t do justice to it. The same applies to charging non ordered items to the bill. While eventuality this was corrected it dampened the whole experience of what should have been a more memorable night at what is a beautiful restaurant that due to COVID’s impact on NY FiDi remains rather empty for a Friday night."

"We were very disappointed about their timing, we had 7:15 reservations and had to wait about half an hour when they moved into a room with a birthday party of maybe 25 and we couldn't even hear each other, after many complaints they pulled us into another room and when we had to wait about another 45 minutes before we got our food, manager was not to see except when we were finally ready to go, new we were upset and all"

"Food was great! Service was awful. I understand they are understaffed due to covid but we waited 15 mins for our 1st round of drinks and then did not get our 2nd round until our entrees came. The busboy also cleared our plates while we were still eating our appetizers. Felt very rushed. We had appetizers, mains, and dessert in an hour. I understand if we were there over two hours but it wasn’t even close."

Wine through the glass prices are above the top and I would come again more often with a lower cork fee $20 too steep, try $15 and see what happens.
