"our first trip to playa commissions today to visit the restaurant of my fav top chefs and our brunch time experience not disappointed. from astonishing fresh, chilled oysters to this world lobster roll, and garnish and crab eggs benedikt delicious over worte! that was all I expected. also in a packed dining room was the service top notch, and our waitress was knowledgeable and beautiful. the restaurant itself is fun and interesting with a earthy beach feeling. we could not go without buying some glasses from the load and taking a pint from the small batch ice counter to the house. we are coming back soon -danke pp!"

Today this picture was completely destroyed. we entered pitch west to be welcomed by the hostess, which began by saying we had three options, table 1 had a reservation in 60 minutes, table two. at the top. had a reservation in 90 minutes or we could sit at the bar. to be clear, we arrived at 5:20 hrs for happy hour. "From the menu it looked like there were no vegan options that they were listed only as a vegetarian. But my server was able to ask about any of the options (and find out which gluten-free were), which was very helpful. She didn't let me feel like an inconvenience and was very enthusiastic about the help. All employees were very friendly, and they are well equipped to help you find a good option on the menu. I had the impossible meat pot that was one of the best meals I've ever had. Our server told a lot and it was not disappointing that it came with vegan potatoes (what they raving about) and green beans. Very enjoyed it and the atmosphere, friendly service and soothing knowledge of the servers made it a really pleasant experience. I just wish they would mark the menu!!"

"Good food, but questionable customer service. I ordered an ice cream coffee, server asked if I refused vanilla and I. We were accused of additional costs for vanilla anyway, and the cashier seemed not satisfied with changing it. What was changed to $4... when we came back, they seemed even less happy to change that. It's a trivial amount of money, but it's the principle. Good and fair customer service would make it right without trouble or attitude. Edit: not sure how to react to the owner's response below. This happened today at 11:30 am at the San Mateo site, and we have dived. Take the offer, but don't worry about the ice cream, we won't return. Just make sure your workers have a good morality."

"I thought I was going to pay 11.25 for a salmon Benedict and however much for a cup of black coffee, but my bill was $24+. Their list of breakfast specials was covered by patio furniture and their menu has a section listed as breakfast specialties which are NOT breakfast specials. The hostess said many customers have been confused by this which begs the question why haven’t they fixed their menu or made this clear for clientele? Just confirm prices before you order! I have no issues paying $24 for my breakfast but I think it’s manipulative to not be clear about menus/prices. As a Bgame native, I won’t go back. Also, I could see that the shredded cheese that was pulled out from the kitchen was moldy at the bottom of the container so definitely not fresh…"

"Incredible dinner! Celebrated a friends birthday and all of us were given complementary glasses of champagne and free birthday dessert. The owner came over and spoke to us which made us feel at home. Food was incredible, highly recommend the French onion soup and pesto gnocchi. Will absolutely be back next time we are in the Avon/Vail area."

"We sang my best friend last night and I celebrated a train. The hostess was very sweet that they tried to receive my offer of switching tables, but it was a Saturday night and it was packed. We sat on a two summit on the way, which was somewhat unpleasant, but again it was so packed. Food and service was amazing, our server was always checked for us and recommended to try the best things. There was a fight that broke out during dinner, but staff and management did an amazing task to calm it down and treat the problem."

"This was our first time at Ragin Cajun. We had heard about it but wanted to experience it ourselves. We were not disappointed. We had reservations and were seated immediately. My man ordered the Crawfish Elouffee and I ordered the Bayou Bisque. BOTH were excellent!!!! I was full so offered the remainder to my hubby. The noise volume was MUCH better than other South Bay restaurants...we didn't have to yell. We truly appreciated that aspect of our meal. Our waiter was very helpful in answering our questions about the menu. His recommendations were on the spot. He was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We WILL return. and possibly try some of that Alligator!"
