"The vegan option at this restaurant was delicious. They offer a separate vegetarian menu to help find options that can easily be made vegan with a few adaptations. While there were several good choices available, there weren't as many as expected. I ordered the guacamole enchiladas with Rancheros sauce and found it to be quite tasty."

"we came for gloomy and a drink and both were delicious! the vegan chocolate cake was decadent and light, similar to a mousse. the restaurant was beautiful inside and outside. even though we only came for a couple of dishes, it took a little too long when we wanted to get out for everything. the wine takes more time than for example the cocktail. Despite the time the commands came out delicious and the atmosphere was a bit loud, but still pleasant."

"Ordered some food tonight through door dash and bought 40$ worth of brisket ate half of it before noticing that some of it had a green and copper color to it ,while I know exactly what bad meat looks like and how to tell when something is old meat was so tough dry and losing the brown color to it as well as cold) the people I was eating it with did not. Now the other food I got with it was perfect and delicious but the facts we had all eaten bad meat put us off ,We brought it to the attention of the restaurant and they simply said it was brisket even took it and ate it we didn't want a replacement for what we had eaten or even a refund just acknowledging the fact that yes it was old or bad ,but they were so rude and it just put us off about the whole experience with the food."

"I like the feel of the Tosa Smoke Shack... very similar to the downtown Milwaukee location. The service and ambience is great but not excellent but the food is excellent! My family of five had different variations of the combo meals and all the food for each one of us was fantastic, especially the brisket! a little on the expensive side but well worth it and I'll be back."

"The food here is absolutely incredible! It's as fresh as it gets, with every bite bursting with flavor. I might even say it’s better than homemade! The sauces tasted like they were crafted right on the spot, and they were delicious. We started with chips, queso, and fresh guacamole, which was even tastier than the kind I usually make with spices and lime juice—so good! My friend ordered a burrito while I opted for the fish tacos. Now, keep in mind that I'm a fish taco enthusiast; I've had them from Mexico to San Diego, and these were among the best, if not the absolute best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back to this restaurant when I visit Kansas City again to see my friend. He’s quite a picky eater, but he knew I would love this place, and he was spot on. My friend’s burrito was just as tasty as my fish tacos. The rice and beans were good, although I would have preferred if the tacos had come with refried beans instead of the larger beans that were served."

"This place has the best smoked food that I've ever had. The food and service here does not disappoint. Fast friendly local business with food that is not to be missed. The brisket plate is my favorite and the garlic bread is awesome. You can order ahead via toast, or dine in. There is more here than I can mention. Do yourself a favor at check them out whenever you are in the mood for smoked meat. You will not be disappointed."

"Drinks were so slow that we cancelled our second one!! No bartender, manager was bartending and doing other responsibilities. Chip server was rude!! asked for a second salsa and she practically threw it at us.. UGH...server tried, she was good."
