"pros: this diner was a very well managed diner. it has been decades and the staff here is very nice. the owner works hard with their employees in the opposite to other owners who sit at home and let the business run itself. eating was good, the menu had a lot to it, it came fast and also cons: they did not work well to wipe some tables. they also block their entrance with a tent and the people must go and on the same side that could cause a problem squeezing, especially from the autobahn overall: excellent diner to come, I put it very hard. make sure that your table is deleted and will continue with preview when entering parking"

"I have my twins here for breakfast for their 21st. Birthday made. They asked to celebrate Mimosas, and they got them!! The Omelettes were amazing and knowing that I have now found somewhere that I can get chorizo in them, this facility has now placed on my breakfast list! I even ordered one side of the sausage Gravy to defeat my omelet and I am so glad that I did it! The taste was perfect. The girls also loved their chocolate chip pancakes! For the Mimosas, you can fly and choose 4 flavors for $14 or single glasses of Mimosas running $6. The blackberry, strawberry and watermelon were amazing. Believe me, I will be back to try more flavors!! Service was very friendly and fast. Thank you for helping me by being part of my girl 21. Birthday!"

"I'm sorry but I'm a sucker for Stainless Steel diners and this one is exactly what I was looking for at dinner. Cheeseburger deluxe with the fries is my comfort food. Service was awesome, it came out quick and everything was hot and exactly as ordered. My server barely let my drink get halfway before it was full again. If you want a diner meal just like you remember, stop and try this place. I think you'll be very happy."

"Pleasant Cafe is an interesting experience with a great value. It's this perfectly preserved restaurant and bar straight out of the 70s, with a vast menu, unique specials, and a full bar. And it's very affordable! Don't go here with your nose up and quick to judge, it may look old but it has a really special atmosphere that many new hipster joints couldn't recreate if they tried. "I was with 5 other women together on 1. Friday every month in one of our houses. I live an hour from the rest, so I decided to have my turn in the chateau. We enjoyed cocktails and many appetizers. "Obvious problem with staffing both kitchen and wait staff. Took minutes for waitress to bring a drink and also tell us they were out of the beer my husband ordered minutes earlier. Mussel appetizer was cold so only ate a little of it. Main course was ok but not as good as usual"

"First time back after over a year! Was wonderful seeing all the familiar faces again. We felt very welcome there. The food was delicious, husband had the lasagna with meat sauce. Huge amount of it, at least 3 meals. He said it was great. I had my own creation— I felt like a cheeseburger. They have one on the menu which I’ve had before as takeout and it was very good. I ordered the burger with Swiss cheese , sautéed onions, mushrooms and roasted peppers. I tossed aside the top roll and the tomato and the raw red onion. Put the shredded lettuce on top the burger a little mayo and ketchup and I was good to go! Open faced cheeseburger. Delish, couldn’t finish it. Mustn’t forget the ff very tasty, different from what I remember, better! All in all it felt good to be there."

"My husband and I went here for my friend's son's bar mitzvah. It was really nice. The place is beautiful the food was good. However I ordered the eggplant parm and was a little disappointed because the pasta was a little lackluster. Al dente and not much flavor. The sauce was kind of chunky was not much flavor I ate the eggplant parm and left the pasta. I also ate my husband's rice pilaf and his carrots they were pretty good. Overall the place is really nice that atmosphere is really pretty in the staff are very friendly."

"Had another excellent meal and experience here. Every time I come here it’s busy, very good sign. You know the food is good if it’s busy. I ordered the minestrone soup for a starter. The soup was fresh with vegetables and pasta. The entree I ordered was a baked haddock with a side of rice and broccoli. My father had a chicken parm and my brother ordered the frutti di mare. We all were more than satisfied per usual and will continue to come back. The service is excellent though. Plan ahead the wait times can be long. (Which you’ll want to wait for) Portions are big and stomachs don’t leave empty."

"My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary along with one of our sons and had been to Pizza Castle a few times. Always enjoyed our meal. This time was no different, food was great! However, it was odd we waited in the 'wait to be seated ' area for 5 minutes before anyone realized we were there. Glad we were patient, stayed and had a great meal. The fried calamari appetizer hit the spot. It came with fried jalapeños fresh feta! Yum! I kept it simple and had a sausage meatball grinder and husband had the turkey club with fries... all was well. Our son, went all out having clam chowder and penne alla vodka with chicken! Looked, smelled and, according to him, was very good! Looking forward to next time."

"Don't come here for spaghetti or chicken parm. The spaghetti taste old and dry like it's was leftover from yesterday and the chicken parm was dry and crunchy almost like toast. If you truly want good Italian food, full of flavor and not bland like Persichetti's go to Mauro's in Jeannette or Lucci's in Irwin (Harrison City,Penn Township) Mauro's has homemade sauce that puts persichetti's to shame and Lucci's has a chicken parm that will have you coming back! Please don't settle for this place unless you're hitting the bar with your buddies."

"Hmmm Please please please do not go by the location or the decor outside. It's small place with a big taste and quality. Watching the family taking care of the food so closely makes me feel home. Now the Food, Greek spices are subtle and fresh. It's not like my own Indian overwhelming curry stuff ; And man this place brings it out and proves it. I just love going back there. Gyro is carved out off a live gyro station and it is fresh. Grilled veggies are done right. The sauces are a perfect complement to the homemade taste in any of their dishes. Portion is more than satisfying and their service is very accommodating. Kids love it. Can't ask for anything more. Enjoy!"

"We eat at the Chateau about once or twice a month. Reservations are usually honored on time. I had the chicken marsala and my wife had the chicken, broccoli and penne Alfredo. Both were excellent. We had Red Velvet cake for dessert. Our waitress was Cindy B who was very friendly and efficient."
