"I made a reservation for an early dinner this evening to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday. She had never been to Cafe Central, but she had heard me talk about it several times. We were seated promptly and served our water and tea. We decided on two appetizers: the Grilled Portobello Mushroom and the Grilled Fried Calamari. Both were excellent and the spicy sauce on the calamari was great. For dinner, my daughter ordered the Maple Leaf Duck Breast and I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. The presentation was spot-on gorgeous on both entrees. The duck was cooked to an absolutely perfect medium rare and the fish was easily among the best I've ever had. We each sampled the other's entree and agreed that both were absolutely delicious. After dinner, the server brought out a wonderful Tres Leches Cake with a Birthday sparkler atop a specially decorated plate. He graciously offered to take a couple of Birthday photos, which I will treasure. The food, service, and ambience all made for a wonderful birthday celebration."

"This is a first class restaurant...My family and I have been there several times. Each time was exceptional. I also had a small party there of approximately 30 and the service and food were outstanding. This is a hidden gem of a place with some of the best food I have had anywhere...my compliments to the owner and management...excellent place. By the way, the cocktails are great and they have added an extensive beer menu, which have just added to a positive experience."

"Drove 30 minutes to get to the restaurant after reservation on Open Table only to find the place empty, locked and out of the store. Also a reservation confirmation from Open Table."

"Very disappointing customer service from the three ladies at the front desk-we called in advance to enquire about visiting the rooftop bar early on a Saturday night for a short time with a large group (14), and though unable to take reservations, they assured us we should be able use the bar. Upon arrival, it went from bad to worse. The three women at the front desk were extremely unaccommodating, telling us there was a wait list and that they tried to keep the rooftop bar access for hotel guests. I find it appalling at the level of this service given most businesses are trying to retain business through COVID. Given that we had a large party it was too late to change the location for meeting, we remained in the bar next to the restaurant downstairs. The ONLY good thing about the service was the wonderful waitress Amanda in the seafood bar, who it seemed to be aware that the front desk staff were being rude and unprofessional. She was attentive and kind and knowledgable about the menu. The quality of the food and cocktails were excellent-just a shame it was soured but the three worst hospitality workers we have ever met."

"As always, the food and service at Nora was outstanding. Reza made several recommendations regarding food and wine pairing and he was spot on. Nora has become a neighborhood spot for my wife and myself to relax and enjoy a comfortable meal on any occasion."

"We always make a trip to Nobu when visiting Miami and it never disappoints. This time was truly exemplary. We put our trust in our waiter and after telling him the tradito was why we keep coming back he selected the rest of the dishes. This was our least expensive visit to Nobu and undoubtedly our most exceptional meal. The service here is absolutely fantastic. Just go, you won’t regret it."

"Seems like they spent way too much money up front on decor and furniture and they jacked up prices to compensate. It’s a great atmosphere but prices are ridiculous and it took 45 minutes for the entree to come out. We decided to go for the surf and turf special, which was decent but when we expected this item to run around $110 we received the bill and it was actually $175. Completely over priced for what we received. Steak was good, and lobster was okay. Nothing we received was exemplary enough to warrant almost $200 for an entree. Service was good, atmosphere kept us in a decent mood until we received the bill. Left feeling like we got robbed. Will not return."

"While the food here is good, we had issues with the service. Specifically we brought, as our guest of honor, an elderly relative who was very thin from chemotherapy. We had a table reserved way in advance. When we arrived we were seated right by an open door through which there was a huge cold breeze. Our cousin was so cold his teeth were chattering. We asked twice (practically begged) if there was any way we could be moved further into the dining room and were refused in a rather brusk fashion. We ate our dinner, which was quite expensive, but could not really enjoy it because we all were cold and the guest of honor was freezing. I could not understand such poor guest relations. I had had the reservation for two weeks so it was not that they had just fit us in. I was really rather shocked and have not been back."

"The food was so ridiculously good! Seriously delish. The music was a tad loud but the atmosphere was immersive. We felt like we had our own spot to celebrate our anniversary! Our waiter was helpful and polite; however seemed a little distant when I said I didn’t like my first cocktail. The restaurant was generous in providing a complimentary drink though and this was very appreciated! Overall, we highly recommend."

"Cut is a sophisticated and stylish steakhouse that offers a high-end dining experience. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with a modern and elegant interior that sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The menu features an array of premium steaks and seafood, along with a variety of sides and appetizers. The service at Cut is impeccable, with attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and able to make great recommendations. The only downside to Cut is that it can be quite expensive, which may not be accessible to all diners. Additionally, the noise level can be a bit high, which may detract from the overall dining experience. Overall, Cut is an exceptional restaurant that is well worth the splurge for a special occasion or a memorable night out. With its high-quality ingredients, exceptional service, and stunning atmosphere, Cut is a top-notch steakhouse that is sure to impress even the most discerning diners."

"I really enjoyed this place. I have been coming to this place for years. I visited this place the first time since the pandemic ended. It has not changed. Their fried chicken is amazing. Also their butterscotch pudding is decadent. The restaurant serves southern style cuisine. Everything on the menu looks good and tastes good. The customer is service is good and friendly."

"large menu options, cocktails and room, we love nostrana but restaurant was a little cool, as shown by many customers still an outer layer. Although the energy costs are to be understood as a considerable increase, the preferred temperature in the restaurant can be something management to rethink, especially in the winter months."

"Friends took me here for my birthday and it was amazing! The food is soooooo good. The drinks were good too. I’ve never had that cuisine before. For my apps I had the buttermilk biscuits w/ ham and marmalade….mmmm. For my entree I had the rib-eye….mmmm. Our server was extremely attentive and very friendly. The desserts are also to die for. Price is just right and what you’d expect to pay at a place like this. Go here but you need to make a reservation. The night before Quincy Jones and posse were there getting their grub on too!"

"For the first time, my wife and I wanted to do something else on the Labor Day for Brunch, and I had seen the new development at the lake and assumed it had to have a restaurant. We came over Decoy and... Wow. What a beautifully designed and executed restaurant. The food was great, the view was great, and the service was great. I will say my only complaint was the sun really warmed the place through the large glass windows, they should be half transparent shadows down in the morning when the sun is over half the restaurant and nobody wants to sit in it. After the brunch we went around the docks and ran into this boy who asked my son and daughter if they wanted to try to fish and we came there and safe enough, with the help of the young man they caught their first two fish! Was really a great time and we plan to get back to date night sometime soon."

"If I could start with the peanut butter conversion with vanilla ice cream and would not ruin my dinner. But then I would be too full to eat our spicy wok Calamari who was the appetizer. And follow him from my Shrimp Capellini (angel hair pasta, shrimp, tomatoes, basil, garlic, sweet red peppers). My partner ordered the rubber train and had a delicious kick. We were sitting outside. the staff was all super friendly and let you fill like family. It was a perfect night outdoor with friends."

"I live and work in the neighbourhood and fit this place a few times a day. I don't know why I didn't try it earlier!? all far exceeded all my expectations, over two visits. that's almost impossible in my book. we started with brunch on Sunday. we ordered the warm chouquettes, the grapefruit brulee, and the gruyere and spring onion scone to begin while we tried to decide on our entrees. the chouquettes were perfect small puffs of pate a choux pastries with powdered sugar and served with the most incredible cherry jam. the grapefruit brulee was an absolute tasty! seasoned by grapefruit with candied demarara sugar, cinnamon and tarragon coated. I'm not sure what I expected when I ordered this, but it was so unique and tasty that I feel that it was something everyone should try! I ordered the scone, even though I was sure I hate her. I am a baked cook and hearty scenes always disappoint me. they are usually too heavy and nobody gets the season right. my man couldn't believe I ordered the scones. After taking one bit, he asked me what I thought. I told him he had to taste it because it was the best scoring I ever tasted that someone else did! it was perfectly easy, and that was spicing on. you have to order it! we thought we had a lot of time to order and enjoy the rest of our meal, but get a text that we had to be in union station to pick a friend within 30 minutes. we informed our server about the hurry and they were beyond the recording! we could still order traitors and they had us at the exact time we had to get out of the door. the next day we went back to get an undisturbed lunch so we could try more. I started with the cavalier king charlie cocktail (dry gin, lemon, blue pea flower, tonic, champagne foam) that was beyond phenomenal! simply the best cocktail I had in portland, in 5 years here. my man has tasted and explained when the color purple has a taste, that is it! so tastes purple. they have an extensive absinthe menu and are very well versed about all asspects of selection and history. my man tried two different sorts and was very satisfied with both selections. we started lunch with the soup du jour and the escargot and button mushroom gratin. both were absolute perfection! for the escape we ordered the pain perdu and the grilled duck sausage ratatouille. both were perfect again! I don't even know what to say, except that while I write that, I think about how soon I can go back there. desserts were also perfectly executed, we tried the riz au lait and the meyer lemon tarte. no matter where I dine, even the best meal times, I have in the rule a little complaining about something, be it service, execution, cocktails, dessert or whatever. there's always something I'll be a teensy bit unhappy. but not here. that are also over two visits. neither my man nor I could come with a single thing that was less than stellar!"

"serve classic French dishes in a beautiful environment. friendly and attentive service. they have a best cassoulet, which I had outside of frankly duck jam, whistling bauch instead of shoulder. no lamb or crispy broth crust, but still delightful. mustles in the classic cream sauce fine if nothing special. beef bourguignon also good. my only complaint is the price of wine. the selection is in order, but apart from few decisions in the lower area, the prices quickly escalate to almost four times retail in some cases. a more uniform price distribution would be appreciated and could also increase bottle sales."
