"The server was quite inexperienced. She had to ask us to place our main order, refill our drinks, and clear away empty plates. We overheard her discussing our group’s behavior with another employee, which felt inappropriate. The food was either overcooked or misrepresented; for example, the shrimp cocktail was just shrimp with a sprinkle of cayenne pepper instead of being served with cocktail sauce as expected. The cook was also unhelpful when he inquired about our dissatisfaction. It shouldn’t be necessary for us to leave our group just to get drink refills. Many in our party left more than half of their meals untouched because they were difficult to eat. In fact, it wasn’t even worth taking home for our dogs."
