"I visited this restaurant four years ago and had a fantastic experience, but it seems to have declined significantly since then. Many items on the menu were unavailable, and the tables, chairs, and floor were dirty. It was also off-putting to see children running around empty tables and playing as if it were a daycare. It really reflects poorly on the management. I won't be coming back!"

"Food was excellent. Atmosphere was good but the service was not good at all. Our server sat us down and asked what kind of water we wanted and that was it. We had to ask to order a drink and ask for some bread. I think the server might have stopped by the table once during the meal. Great food but overall I don't think I would go back because of the poor service. Our server was a brunette young lady just an FYI ."

"we were not actually able to go to the fifth, but our booking completed a week later. we ordered 2 craft cocktail dirty flirts, the menu describes them as dirty gray geese martinis with blue cheese olive and crispy prosciutto, we got 2 dirty martinis, probably with gray geese, but no blue cheese olives and they were made from Prosciutto....loved the safe environment, but the standard was above all the $"

"eating in igloo was a really funny and unique experience. the food and drinks were excellent. the waiting time for our drinks and eating was however unacceptable looung! not sure what happened there, but good that after our 90-minute time slot there was no other party because the drinks were 30 minutes alone! our dinner came at 7:10, we sat at 18 o'clock! the waitress was pleasant, but I didn't seem to have a kind of hurry to serve us in time."

"I went last night with my husband. The food was delicious. I got the Pan seared barbecue salmon. Their unique barbecue sauce was very tasty. The salmon was meant to come on mashed sweet potatoes. Instead, I asked for the parmesan sliced potatoes. There was also a kale salad to go with. The kale salad was heavily dressed; it was good nonetheless. My husband ordered the lamb steaks with mashed potatoes and green beens. He thoroughly enjoyed his food! He also got a side of wings. I ordered a Caesar salad; however, I did not like Caesar dressing. Our server was nice. But not very attentive. After we received our meal, She did not come back to check on us to see if everything was prepared correctly, until we were almost finished eating."

"The calamari was great with the garlic aioli. I had the Find Me In the Club sandwich it could of used more spice but was still good and my husband had the mushroom burger and it was cooked perfectly. The creme brulee was a little over done but it's creme brulee so I'll try it again. We will be back soon."

"One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Brought salad before appetizers which took forever. Manager apologized and said the chef didn't like the small of the fried calamari and did them over. Said no charge because of the wait. Food finally arrived. Crab cakes, salmon, and ribs were OK. 2 people ordered medium burgers which were well done. Sent back. After long wait, replacements were well done too. We ordered a $42 bottle of wine but were charged for an $86 bottle. Server was perplexed. Manager comped all of the food. Qualifies as the top 1 or 2 of horrible restaurant dining experiences ever. Might be difficult for us to go back again."

"Dinner in the igloo was beautiful upon arrival and there is nothing to compare it to. The igloo kind of sparkles all around and it’s surprisingly warm! They have each chair draped with blankets if need be. We took our coats off and enjoyed a lovely time with good friends and served the delicious Crave menu. I hope the igloos remain for more seasons!"

"I love the St PAUL Grill, but the lamb chop I had was the toughest lamb chop I have ever had. That was disappointing. The prices are up as well, I had one drink, no appetizers and no dessert. My son doesn’t drink and the bill was $150. A bit disappointing but I knew what I was getting myself in for."

"This is a beautiful space and has the best looking bar in Indianapolis. It is, pardon the expression, chic and trendy. Lots of rich woodwork and a circular bar. The entire staff is cheerful and accommodating. We had early (4:30) reservations, so there were not many patrons, however, by the time we left, it was full of people. I had the Tomato and Mozzarella Salad. It was huge, with terrific tasting tomatoes. The best! My wife had the Cod, prepared unblackened and with no garlic, and the Fried Green Tomatoes. Both rated a 10! We ended with a delicious scoop of salted caramel ice cream. mmmmmmmmm! But for the pricey aspect, I would rate it a 5. so I gave it a 4."

"Food was tasty and that’s about it. Service was all around terrible. They brought the wrong order to my dining companion and for some reason brought my order back too, even though my order was correct. I had to flag down the server to bring my food back over otherwise it was going to sit out until the other correct order was ready?! Waters were never refilled during the meal. Our server never came to check in on us yet we saw him talking to all other tables around us. At the end of the meal I asked our server if bread comes with the meal since I saw several tables around us with bread. His response was that it’s free but you have to ask them for it and then they’ll bring it… overall good food but not worth it for the bad service and all around experience."

"This was our second time at Donato because we wanted to give it a second shot. Our first experience was on Valentines day where they were having some issues due to it being a holiday and their system being down. That meant we ended up spending about 3 hours at Donato, mostly waiting and getting impatient for anything to come. This time around, we brought a friend to give it a second chance. It was a random Friday night with a reservation. Service was slow, the same as our first time around. It took around half an hour before they took our order. Took another hour for our food to come out, and we were handed a dessert menu before our last item was supposed to come. I say supposed to come because even though we ordered it, we were told that it was never put in and we wouldn 't be getting. I don 't understand why this place has such a high rating. The food is mediocre for how expensive it is, the service is slow, and it seems like the chefs are so backed up they can 't get food out at all in a timely manner. I really wanted to like this place considering it has such rave reviews on here, but it seems like the only people I see enjoying this spot are old white couples, so if you don 't look like you own multiple properties, maybe don 't come. This was our second and last time coming here."

"I feel like we've been there a little early for hibachi, we sat down and there were no one on the side of the restaurant. but made for a few nice pictures! soon the tables began to fill. we sat with a few other groups at our table and then started the show. for beginners we had the usual suppe and salate. (which are both delicious and we ordered the california roll. perfect amount of crab and avocado. Finally, the main course was fantastic. the steak was cooked to perfection and the sweet, huh, rice and noodles were perfectly portioned and delicious! and finally the waiter and the chef were phenomenal friendly and attentive."

"We ordered (4) steaks: two of them were medium-well and two of them were medium. When the server brought out our four steaks; the two medium ones were hot and the two medium well steaks were room temperature. They probably made the medium well first and then the medium…. But still for the price they charge for each steak they should figure out how to serve four people all four steaks to be hot."
