"They are adding to the price at the checkout , I had a $42 total , they charged me $49 , when I told her that it is wrong she said it is tips included for 1 person . $7 tips she spoke with someone there , that person told her to drop it, but she said it tips included. She may have gotten those $7 dollars , but I will never go there again, the bad part is that this is my favorite place."

"I have eaten here more than a dozen times now. The service you get depends on who waits on your table. Whoever that is, no one else will pay you any never mind. One of my favorite things about a Mexican Restaurant is the salsa and chips. However, thistime like last there were a lot of way past stale chips mixed in with the others. "My daughter was looking forward to bringing me here. Finally made it out here to check it out. The place was small but cozy. We were coming from a walk along the beach with our pup so we were able to sit outside on the patio. It was a beautiful day. I asked for a flavored tea. The gentlemen serving us said he can make any flavor tea, he even threw out a few suggestions. I took him up on the Mango tea. Was not one bit sorry! Great flavor, sweet, not too sweet and just very refreshing. My daughter loves the queso fundido with chorizo. It was pretty good. A little salty but I'm wondering if that was the seasonings in the chorizo,., I still ate it. The Tacos Garcia were a little disappointing. Taste was a bit bland. I added salsa, which was very tasty BTW, but it didn't help much. Now the tacos with the carne asada were spot on!! Goodness they were so delicious. Beans and rice were ok. Gentleman assisting us was super sweet. Kinda forgot about us a bit but I did enjoy our conversation. I would go back."

"Our waitress, Angelica, was truly outstanding! Although the restaurant was extremely busy during our visit, she was always prompt and attentive. There was a mistake with my son's order, but we didn't mention it since he could still eat some of it. However, when Angelica returned to refill our drinks for the third time, she immediately recognized the error and had the kitchen remake his entire dish without us having to say anything. Thank you for such exceptional service! The food was delicious, and you definitely get your money's worth. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!"

"Good food, very reasonable prices. The salsa was great and I like that they give each person their own salsa dishes. Stay open until 10 days. Only the problem is that there is no drink card, although there is a bar. They really lack on some sales there. Or at least inform the servers about what is possible to inform the table. The rice was also very dry."

"This used to be my fav Mexican restaurant but I wad not impressed this go round. The food was okish service was eh.. atmosphere was just..ok. they had live music on the patio, or the little outdoor eating area. It was way too loud but that was on us for sitting outside. If you sit inside it 's probably a lot better. If you want to talk and/or visit, do not sit outside. The food can use some improvements.. but it was edible."

"If you get the chance, I highly recommend that you eat at the Mexican restaurant, here in Pocatello, Chapalas. We try to eat there regularly, as their service is, and always has been, wonderful. They’re a family owned restaurant here in Pocatello and we like to support family owned restaurants if we can. Today we ordered some food to-go and when I went in to pay, they recognized us from previous times offered free drinks chips salsa (and when we got home, we realized sopapillas. They can’t do this for everyone, of course, but the gesture was so kind. Then the man who works there, who was helping me, then helped me carry everything out to our car. The whole family that works there is always so kind and thoughtful and they are always like this. There’s not a single time when we go into the restaurant that they are not happy and willing to joke around with you. If you get the chance to support them, you won’t regret it!"

"The servers are outstanding, the food is always fresh and hot and comes quickly. I work as a caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities, and the staff are always so patient and kind with us, but matter who I'm with, they answer questions, get special requests right, drinks never get low and I don't feel rushed or neglected. I've been going there for years. "My wife and I loved everything from the chips Salsa, beans and rice, Fajitas and beef Mocajete. Molcajete bowls were my meal in Ohio. That was the first one I've found since moving to Arizona a few years ago. The service was also excellent. We're coming back! Very recommended!"

"A Meal Soured: While I delivered for a third party service, I came across Mazatlan. The manager I've been talking about difficulties that come with these services. He said that someone gave them a terrible review for technical issues w/the app. I assured him I was back, I was back for three years and brought my mother from Texas, new friends I met, my partner now. This evening, my partner, whom I dressed for another dinner, went as well as usual until we ordered Dessert, which we normally did not do that she hangs a hair out of the spoon. We both notify the server. She's about 5 minutes away, bringing the tab. No, I'm so sorry, I'm gonna have the manager right away. Nothing. We have to pay the same manager. I'll ask him if he's aware of his hair. He said yes, that's why the charges were removed. I asked why he didn't come by talking about it. He said well that I was busy all the time. Then he said he could pick up a price. I let him know how I'm just there to support him the local business, it's very regrettable that customer service has dropped so much. Then he continued to calculate the full amount for the rest of the meal... Lol! The food whole experience was only up to max. We won't be back."

"I absolutely love authentic Mexican cuisine, and I'm not talking about Taco Bell! If you're looking for delicious Hispanic food, I highly recommend this place in Port Orchard, Washington! I've heard they also have a location in Gig Harbor, the next city over, but I can't speak to that. This was my first visit and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant had a Mexican atmosphere that made me feel like I was back in Mexico. The Tejano music playing in the background added to the experience. The staff was professional and friendly, and they were attentive to refilling our water glasses and keeping our tortilla chip bowl full. To my surprise, they not only provided salsa for the chips, but also a small bowl of fried beans and a lemon cake salad (similar to coleslaw) - all complimentary. The food and drinks were excellent, with the Carne Asada being a standout dish. The portion sizes were generous, unlike some other Mexican restaurants where they have decreased in size. "7. April 2022 we had dinner at one of our favorite local Cedar Hills Mexican Restaurant, Pepitas. They were packed and somehow just fed us two servers. It was perhaps not as fast as usual, but everyone showed grace and no complaints were heard around us. The family at the table, pulled out cards and played Uker. Our server got a 40% tip and deserved everything. Thank you for having done it, and the food was amazing as always. Go and support local."
