"Maybe the best Mexican food I tasted outside of Mexico or was made home by a Hispanic. I had the perpetrators, and they were up there with those my friend was doing. My wife had the Enchiladas and they were really good. Our children had warn the Queensadillas here, they have chickens in them if you don't ask them. My kids called foul, but they were crazy! I had one and it was delicious! The place does not look like much on the outside, but this is really one of these holes in the wall gems! If I'm ever back in Louisville, I'm sure I'm back here!"

"The best tacos and margaritas ever!! My friends and I love to come here for a quick bite and drinks. During the week, they have great specials on food and drinks before 5pm. The prices are very reasonable, the food is always delicious and fresh, and the service is fast and friendly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is great! "TL;DR: Weaselly and dishonest, rude, only average food nothing special. More detail: One of my biggest pet peeves is dishonest, weaselly business practices. I ordered guacamole; menu sign lists the price as 6.99. When the young lady (who was rude attitude rang it up, it charged me 7.99 (a dollar more . When I pointed out the price as quoted on the sign, she looked me in the eye and immediately coldly said, That price is wrong. Excuse me?? Oh it iS, is it?? Well, isn 't that convenient. It 's not the dollar that angers me; I can afford it. It 's the dishonesty and the attitude. The correct response should have been: Sorry sir; we changed the price and haven 't changed the sign yet. Let me re do the total for you (followed by removing a dollar from my total . That price is wrong is NOT THE CORRECT RESPONSE. (Oh, and I wonder how long the price on the sign has been wrong and how many people noticed the overcharging going on? So, this place cheats its customers, and gives rude service. Is that all? No. My food was also utterly average, nothing special. Congratulations, you cheated me out of an extra dollar. You 'll never see me again, nor anybody I talk to about you, so enjoy your gain. No reason to come here for meh food, rude attitude, and sleazy dishonest business practices. No surprise to me that there are so many negative reviews on Yelp mentioning how rude the clerks are. Go elsewhere."

"I am so happy to see these guys became a permanent fixture. They have good tacos, plates, and the standard taco truck items. They are friendly, speak English and Spanish, and look like they take cards or will do so shortly. It is a personal joy for me to walk out my backdoor and see the faint glinting of their multicolored lights reflecting off the ell. I used to go for walls before the area became dangerous at night. There aren't many lights in the area and there aren't many people around after dark since Paradise Fruit Vegetable closed. There is an industrial hardware store here now, remniscent of lower New Utrecht businesses. Without a bodega on this side of Bay Ridge Avenue, there isn't much life. The truck makes this a corner with light and stool and pedestrian customers as well as deliverymen: enough to give it a pulse. It feels safer to walk over here now, and tacos are an excellent excuse. Their Carne and pollo tacos are good. But the real specialty is their Brooklyn-style Bírria. I don't know enough about Birria to know how different theirs is, except that it is beef and not lamb. It is amazing, with that home-stewed comfort. Fried, seasoned toetillas stay crunchy against the salty, wet beef because of a layer of melted cheese. It hits that southwestern US tastebud with the cheese amd beef. Their beans and rice taste like I am a kid again, which has been one of the hardest things to find. I plan to try the flauta pollo eventually as the quest one was flawless. The flavors are fresh and on point without being overseasoned or bland. And a there's nothing like a walk at 3 am toward rainbow lights for comfort food. Please never leave."

"worse customer service I've ever received. had a door bag. went to the registration on the bar. No one recognized me or greeted me. they were kind of busy so I tried to understand and patiently wait to be ignored. After about 5 minutes I noticed a hired person who appeared as manager, so she asked to say that it was not ready. so stood to the side and waited longer. I asked cashier to check for order after another 10 minutes. it was said a second that she should talk to a guy in the bar. she never checked for the order and ignored me...rude! So another lady asked and finally got the command that should be delivered about the time I received. I use to be a casser, server, all that, so I am busy this place, but still recognize their customers and welcome them, ask them if I can help them or something. I will not recommend this place update: reply, comment....yes it happened today, right before I wrote this and from reading a few other reviews seems that others were ignored. they teach their staff hospitality. at least to welcome customers. If they're busy, I'll tell you I'm with you, don't look at you like you're stupid and ignorant, but talk to the young in cash. Js....bad customer service can ruin a business no matter how good it could eat"

"Really quick to talk bad about customers in Spanish. Little did they know I am Hispanic and fluent. Came in at 8:35pm and they close at 9:30. Immediately started to complain to the second cook about people coming in when they are going to close. 6 tacos that took 10 mins to make, not a big deal. Learn to keep quiet and do your job. Don’t complain. I will be back again, the food is good, hopefully next time you can humble yourself and be grateful that you have customers. 2 other customers came after we were leaving. There’s 4 other places that make great tacos within a 3 mile radius. "Foodie friend and I went on a mission a while back for some tacos next to his new place. His Yelp said they had $1 tacos on a certain day. (Side note, I don 't use Yelp, nor do I trust the majority of it 's resources We went inside the taqueria/mercado hybrid and from what we could tell, there was no dollar tacos. We asked the counter man for help and he kept saying, The one in the mall. Even if you use the Yelp app and show him the address and name that we are in thespot listed, he kept saying nope. Looking online to double check I was beginning to question this place. They showed one location that was in the middle of a residential neighborhood and some prices were inaccurate. Slightly frustrated weweighed options of leaving vs eating here. I saw buche and yearned for another spot that could maybe do it right. I ordered four tacos: buche, chorizo, cabeza and lengua. While my friend ordered a platter of different tacos. While I dideat all of mine, none of them were really good, at all. The chorizo felt old and lukewarm, buche tasted like nothing, cabeza was just ok and the lengua made me question finishing it. My friends platter at the end was barely touched and heonly took one bite from his lengua and said, Nope. With how many tacos are available in the twin cities, you can easily skip this one."
