"I was hanging out with my friend, and we chose HOBNOB because they had fish&chips (that's all I wanted).My friend ordered the meatloaf dish.Our waitress was great! She was so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The fish&chips... in my opinion, the portion didn't match the price. I get that we're in a recession, and the price of everything has gone up. However, $22 for two very small pieces of fish and a skimpy serving of fries was wild to me. I had to ask for extra fries. I mean... at least they seasoned the fries, I guess.My friend was underwhelmed with the meatloaf dish."

"We made a reservation and were sat outside in a âheatedâ tent. It was degrees outside and there was only one heater for a large tent. It was freezing! The area in the tent was filthy!! Food all on the ground. Looked like it hadnât been cleaned in days. We waited for minutes in the cold for our server, they never came and then we left."

"I’ve been going to Edge for the last few years and hadn’t been back since they did what I assumed to be a mini-rebrand. Well, it’s pretty much the same restaurant with 70% the same menu but the prices are all much higher. I usually don’t really mind paying for a good dinner but this is now flat out overpriced. It’s good food but not great and they’re just gouging at this point. 30 for a glass of Flowers Pinot Noir. I’ve been to Flowers in CA. It’s nice. That wine is not 30/glass wine. Really disappointed that a place I used to frequent will now shift to infrequent, if ever again."

"Great place for brunch! Their mimosas were delicious we tried the mango flavoured mimosa. The avocado toast was really tasty. Taking a star as I was really looking forward to the soufflé pancakes, which didn’t taste as good as I had expected. Overall, this was a great place for brunch and the service was outstanding. Certainly heading back here when we are in kaua’i next."

"The food was OK, but not outstanding. We had a reservation for 3 which we made about 2 or 3 weeks ago. It was parents weekend. Yesterday my son asked if we could increase the number in our party from 3 to 5 so a couple of his friends could join us. We called yesterday and left a voicemail asking if it was possible to increase the size of our party. Apparently they don’t open until 5:00. They never called us back to let us know whether it was possible. So we called back and spoke with someone at 5:30. They told us it was not possible. That is fine, no big deal. I was disappointed to see that they easily could have accommodated a larger party as the table for two directly behind us was never occupied while we were there. I would have ordered the imperial stout, but they didn’t have it. We ordered the cheese board. The focaccia and homemade butter were good, but the cheese selections were uninspiring. There was a goat cheese Brie which was a miss in my opinion. The blue cheese was ok, and there was a cheddar which was also just ok. We ordered the feta Cesar salad and this was very misleading. I think it is a big stretch to call this a Cesar salad. I did not get the sardine flavor that is the trademark of a Cesar. Also, for a salad making feta the feature, it lacked feta too. Next, I ordered the local farm steak, New York strip which was supposed to be aged for 45 days. I can’t tell you that it wasn’t dry aged, but it was a really thin cut for a dry-aged steak. I ordered it with the Demi glacé sauce. I can definitely say that this was not a Demi glacé. I have taken the time to make a Demi glacé before and I would refer you to chef John on YouTube for his Demi glacé. The thing you look for in the sauce is that it is thick enough so that when you run a spoon through it, it remains separate for a moment and has a dark caramel, glossy color. This sauce was about the color and consistency of tea. As a side I ordered ratatouille. What I got instead were vegetables which were whole and grilled. They were not sliced and layered as a ratatouille preparation would required and I did not get the tomato base. By this point I was so disappointed with the food I skipped dessert. My wife and son ordered some. My wife ordered the white chocolate cheesecake which came out as 3 small dallops of something, but I gotta tell you, maybe it vaguely tasted like cheesecake. My sone had the triple chocolate cake, and said that it was basically just a devils food cake. We paid $206 for the meal and I was very disappointed in the overall meal. On this one, I would have to say both the front of the house and the back of the house were to blame, but I think the kitchen needs to really focus on quality. Maybe these issues will pass by some people, but ratatouille is pretty distinctive, and that wasn’t even close. I didn’t give them zeros for this, but they are not performing above 2 starts."

"Have eaten here a number of times, always for the same thing-pastrami sandwich which is excellent. Other items not so good. Cole slaw needs something to spice it up-too bland. Potato salad just not to my liking-hard to say how it could be improved. Potato chips were inedible-they were very salty and very sweet. Every time we have been there, probably 6 times, the service has been excellent with very pleasant servers. For those who drink, there is a wide variety of drinks, with gin being their specialty."

"beautiful location on the sea and beautiful island dining room. fast complementary parking service. exceptional service and wonderful and inventive menu. we had a problem with a court that solved our waiter and the maitre d’, john, fast and generously. that is a true sign of this excellent restaurant. save them space for dessert. the pineapple on the head cake was the best we ever tasted. excellent cocktails too. also open to breakfast. we will return soon."

"Came here last Thursday for dinner and was seated in the bar area which surprisingly was empty—majority of the guests sat outside since the weather wasn’t too cold. It’s super cute outside with all the light decor! Highly recommend the Signature House-Smoked Prime Rib—a 12 oz. was the perfect size for me—it was well flavored and tender. The Au Jus sauce is the perfect touch to make it overall delicious. The Cowboy Corn side is good too. For cocktails, try the Cucumber Crush! Our server AJ was great!"

"knochen in ribeye was very average with not much taste, I would have known that the soße was tasted about it, I would have asked to be served on the side. the porterhouse of friends tasted better. the appetizers were underwhelming, bark meat tare was just a little bit and the crabcakes tasted like frozen eating. overall, not the best steak restaurant I would return quickly anytime."

"Server did not check on us. My entire party received their food, I ordered a salad at the same time and I never got my order. I had to go track down a hostess to inquire about my food as it was going on 10:00pm and I had not received my salad. The server saw me at the hostess stand and had an attitude about me asking the hostess about my food; even though she had not come back to check on our table. Once she returned to my table, she still did not have my salad and blamed it another server/kitchen staff by saying someone else must have taken it Even so, she would have known I did not receive my order if she had come back to check on our table. Personally, I don't think she even entered my order. In the end I never got my salad or any food for that matter, or an offer to compensate me for the the extreme inconvenience. I will not come back, and they were not busy and with service like this, I can see why."

"Amazing!! Didn’t get pics of everything but everything was great! The raw oysters were big and tasty, the shrimp and crab bienville oysters were also big and delicious. The taste of Trenasse entree was EVERYTHING! It was a little bit of everything on the plate and it was all good and seasoned well. Then, the bread pudding *french kiss* I loved it all. Ambience was beautiful! Will definitely be back!"

"We stopped for lunch after the church. Coming to the parking lot was not an easy performance, but we could find it and park. At our entrance we were greeted and advised by the hostess, we wanted a table for two. We were then accompanied to our table and given menus. Our server came and she had the sweetest manierisms of all time, said please and thank you and was very attentive. It didn't take long to decide what to order, but unfortunately the article that my husband wanted, the Pitbull, was not available, so he went for the tuna sandwich and I had the Classic Benny. Everything was delicious! Flavors were on site, and the cook deserves a golden star for providing delicious food. I'll say it was expensive, but the meal was worth it."

"My husband, our two little ones and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. Our waiter Anthony was very fast and not over stock, he knew the menu and gave great suggestions. The best rib was amazing, pancake was delicious and our children loved the Mac and cheese. Can't wait to try again different things on the menu."

"Came to town for a weekend getaway and decided we would all get an igloo at Drinks were great, but slow service considering there weren't many people there. We were worried about meeting the minimum spend it was happy hour when we attended and the drinks were cheap, so we decided to order the creekstone long bone tomahawk ribeye as a carryout item as our igloo time limit was almost up. Our server told us that it should feed people. We paid our bill and took our carry out items to go. Upon returning to our AirBNB, we realized that the steak was nowhere near oz. and could probably only feed people.Called the manager up on the phone and sent him a photo of the steak and he said it was unacceptable and would refund us for the steak. Our server also never told us gratuity was already included there were system issues splitting up the bill so nobody ever saw the actual check until afterwards and didn't realize there was already a tip included within the total. Our server never mentioned it and it doesn't say gratuity would be included with the igloo on the website. We all tipped additionally on top of that. With the steak getting taken off of our bill, our server walked away with an tip. Nice guy, but we feel like we got robbed"

"We visited the first time because of their famous french fries. Tried the Ruben and the fried avocados both were great. This time we got the fried avocados and tried the horseshoe. We actually shared the entree both times, and they plated it on separate plates for us. Great food and service. This place is definitely on our list of favorites!!"
