"My go to place for Mexican Seafood. Had family in town, so had to bring them to El Bucanero. Came early Saturday evening before the big dinner rush, so was able to get seated right away. Even when it's crowded, the line moves pretty quickly. They do a great job of getting people seated, served, and cleaned up for the next party. We had a party of 6, but they handle larger parties all the time. We were seated right away. Waiter immediately came to take the drink and appetizer orders. That came out within minutes and placed the main orders next. Most menu items are very large portions and probably best ordered family style. I've been here many times and try to order different items each time. This time was the Molcajete el Bucanero, Botana Mixta, Coco Loco, and Ceviche Hawaiano Tropical. The drink was the Michelada Bucanera. While waiting for your food, you can eat the tostada chips with the 3 different salsas on the table. They're very addicting and you'll quickly get full just eating the chips. The food is amazing every time. I've never ordered anything I didn't like. Seafood is extremely fresh every time and always presented nicely. Service is very fast and they're constantly checking on you throughout the meal.
