"server was very nice, not the fastest. we had vegan afteros. good for 2 people fill. mojitos was really delicious. the choices were plentiful and interesting. the beer was good and we liked that they had local options for so many items. we would have been running with a sandwich and the fruit salad with the other. they tell them in advance when they have a deadline. we were not in a hurry and have made it appreciate not to order. would be great for a band or a date. they have breakfast, lunch. we would have liked to hang up for the entertainment and would definitely come back. updated from previous review on 2013-05-13"

"We ordered their loaded potatoes, three taco special and crispy tofu salad. All were delicious. We loved that nothing was heavy in oils. Huge variety of desserts mostly made in house with no refined sugar. Everything is gluten free and organic. Soft serve ice cream is super creamy with a ton of delicious toppings. Hand scoop ice cream is coconut based. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place."

"Drinks are amazing. When they show up. Some of the staff are absolutely terrible. I?ve never been scolded for bringing empty glasses up to the bar, but the service was lacking and absolutely terrible. I had three empty glasses and approached the barthat had less people than our party. Only to be yelled at and told ?next time don?t come up with empty glasses somebody willcome to you?, after 20 minutes of waiting we noticed this was a lie. Amazing drinks but don?t plan on a group outing or morethan one. They aren?t staffed for it."

"Nice looking place, great friendly service, and located next door to a cute book shop. The food isn’t amazing but it’s decent. The one food item that I would not recommend is the baklava. It is really bad. It’s oily which you can taste and is not light and flaky. Idk if they bake them there of have them delivered but they need to change them. They don’t taste authentic at all. Chai lattes are good. I often go for just the lattes."

"The food is really good. We order two millionaire’s Benedict. The millionaire’s bacon is a thick cut bacon with a thin layer of sugar. The sweetness perfectly balance with the meat and fat of the bacon. The eggs is well cooked. The rainbow potato is surprising. It is the combination of potato and sweet potato. "Absolutely the BESTHot Chocolate in Columbus! (It was so good I drank about half before I thought to snap a picture . Very goof coffee as well. Cafe Phenix isn't just an espresso shop though. They have a great selection of housemade pastries, soups, sandwiches (Get the Croque Monsieur , quiches, salads etc. Service is always warm and friendly. You're likely to catch Gary the owner most days. Wonderful conversationalist in addition to being a solid barista. Parking can be a bit of a challenge at times but you can usually find a meter even if it's a block or two down."

"Really enjoyed my vegan casserole and Turkish coffee but definitely thought the food was a bit on the expensive side for the portion sizes(the casserole was 17 dollars for a relatively shallow dish. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere though and the town it’s located in is very cute!"

"This is a classsic NYC coin flip. In the mornings, with no line, the breakfast sandwich is great. There was only a small griddle which made eveyr egg sandwich a chore and long wait. I'f you see a line, walk down the street to the next deli. For lunch, the soups are A+. As previously noted, service is lacking. The staff obviously hates being there, and you by extension for walking in. Should I feel guilty for ordering breakfast? I do here."

"I have the expensive 16 unzen prime rib special. I would say that a third of the meat piece was fat. Wife has three big pancakes. dry like a bone. a gallon sirup would not be able to salviate them. we eat in many, many restaurants here in hh. also live here. I don't know if I'm back to you. the word of the mouth goes far. the server was very nice. also had the insular pot that was excellent."
