"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They refused to accommodate to our parties needs. The food was unseasoned and disgusting. Honestly how do you mess up Indian food? Just spice it, it’s not that hard. The food was so unseasoned and unsatisfactory that one of the employees snuck us RED MASALA to make the food edible. Also the manager REFUSED to turn on the ac. He kept lying about it being on or it being broken after multiple people in our party complained. The party was ruined by the poor management. Never coming back and telling friends and family to avoid at all costs."

"This is possibly the worst Indo Chinese food I have ever had in the US. The Manchow Soup, whether vegetarian or chicken, is basically just a soup of red chilies that is extremely hot and spicy with no vegetables or noodles. Eating this soup will almost certainly give anyone diarrhea. The Golden Chili Baby Corn is also disappointing, as it is only made with red chili paste and the baby corn is very hard, lacking in flavor and tasting only like chili. I ordered Chicken Noodles or Schezwan, but received fried rice that was excessively spicy with only chili flakes and chicken that tasted old and stale. I feel like my $50 was completely wasted. Despite its high ratings, this restaurant serves the worst Indo Chinese food. I will never order from here again and will not be returning. They are simply taking advantage of people with their poor quality and truly unhealthy food."

"I recently visited Palace of Asia, a wonderful Indian restaurant that I have been to many times before. My teenage children and I savored the chicken tikka masala and navratan korma, along with tasty naan, puri, and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious. We always end up eating too much here, but we still take home leftovers that we argue over for lunch the next day. My son typically sticks to the chicken from the American menu, but this time he tried the chicken kabobs and really liked them. It's a great place for both large and small groups."

"I had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. They offer cloth napkins and tablecloths, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming. When we mentioned that we were new to Indian food and had different preferences (my date likes mild dishes, while I prefer spicy), the staff were very accommodating and suggested dishes that suited our tastes. The prices are reasonable, and we left with leftovers. The location is a bit hidden in a strip mall along Army Trail Rd, but it's definitely worth the effort to find. We will definitely be coming back."

"Recently a friend held a lunch in Bombay Tandoor, my first visit and I was not disappointed. Great ambience. Eating was delicious as you can see in my plate: Spinat Chat must be the best. I loved every article this day and can not wait to go back and try other items on the menu"

"Google should bring zero stars. This restaurant deserves that. Food tastes extremely bad. Too much oil and the oil is not fresh. The prices are extremely high. Not worth for the food you get.The sad part is if you visit this restaurant, you’ll end up paying more than what you’d pay if you had the same food from other indian restaurants nearby. 15% service fee for literally zero service. Not recommended anytime for anyone."

"I was understandable that I came here for the evaluations of employees, but. I'm so glad we came. the personal was pleasant enough. I think people need to realize that there is a cultural difference, and since the staff may not speak to react the way they are used. they are also very short employees. our server was very polite, short in sets and direct, but super beautiful. on the important part. that was amazing! soou a lot taste. huh cool was not my favorite dog I tend to eat vegetarian. the windshield pakora and accompanying chutneys were very nice. we ordered chicken tikka masala spicy and wiper makani medium spicy. both were phenomenal. I will certainly stick with the spicy option tho, because their spicy not only a dry chili powder is added. tho I never eat not veg I had a few pieces of the huh tikka masala, as it was quite delicious. tender, juicy and full of taste. the disc makani was amazing. the engraving was rich, creamy, thick and full of taste. the cheese naan and garlic naan were made clear fresh, fluffy and simply perfect. the mango leti was the perfect addition to our meal. tipp: order a side of tweeper to add a nice taste to your gravy. tipp"

"We tried this place for the 3rd time tonight… and it was a strike out. It seems the food got worse each time. The mango lassi was watered down and bland. The mango chutney wasn’t awful, but tasted mostly like vinegar. The garlic naan was beyond disappointing. First, it didn’t taste anything like garlic. It was dry, somewhat burnt and flavorless. The paneer was dry and also slightly burned. The masala had zero flavor or spice. The mushroom saag was awful. Nothing close to any other saag I’ve had. Not only was this food bad, but my partner and I are both experiencing stomach issues directly after eating it… Very disappointed in the entire order. My advice, get a NEW chef or switch food genres. Places like Citrus, Tamarind and Tanjore, are far better and worth the money."

"came here on a Wednesday night for my mother's birthday dinner. Definitely expensive $140 bill for 3), and ask to speak with a manager if you have any food restrictions, but good food. Loved the lamb trio and the Okra fish. The Samosa avocado chaat was like a deconstructed samosa with lots of fresh avocado and a yogurt sauce. Delicious. Service, wise disappointment for such an expensive place. They offered nothing special for a birthday dinner and unfortunately we had a misunderstanding with our order. My husband hates Cilantro and we asked for Cilantro on the side also said he was allergic). But every article of our food came covered or included with Zilantro, even after we tried 2 more times to clarify after our starter arrived with it. So a tip if you have food restrictions to be super clear, maybe try “No, what at all” or I would recommend to ask, maybe talk to a manager when you order?"

"5 stars actually! Happy to say nice things about this business because the owner and his family are not only stellar cooks, they are also shiny examples of good people. Stop and meet her, you will like her just as you like the food!"

"EXCELLENT FOOD SERVICE. Arrived at ~7:15pm on a Tuesday and there were plenty of seats (which is a shame), they should be more popular. since one person in our group was stuck in traffic, the staff kindly took our order and arranged to bring it out when our friend finally did arrive. Food was literally sizzling hot and steaming when it did come out. Everything tasted divine. Water was always being topped off. My friends and I met to catch up after 5 years of not seeing each other and the staff let us stay later even a little past closing time. They also helped us take a group photo and had their newly arrived party (of people they knew I believe, not new guests) move out of the photo's background. Definitely check this place out!"

"I recently found myself in a bit of a culinary predicament near Grand Central Station one evening around 9 pm. Most restaurants had already closed their doors, but luckily, I stumbled upon Joy Curry and Tandoor, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. As a food enthusiast, I was in search of a satisfying meal, and this restaurant did not disappoint. Despite the late hour, they still had a variety of options available for takeaway. I opted for the meal pack, which included two curries, vegetables, naan, and extra rice. Now, let's dive into the flavors. While I was pleased with most of the dishes, there were a couple that didn't quite hit the mark. The samosas and palak paneer, unfortunately, fell a bit short in terms of taste. They lacked the robust flavors I had come to expect from these dishes. However, the rest of the offerings more than made up for it.The curries were the star of the show. Bursting with aromatic spices, they tantalized my taste buds with every bite. The balance of flavors was on point, and the richness of the sauces was simply delightful. It was evident that the chefs at Joy Curry and Tandoor know their way around Indian cuisine. The portion sizes were also commendable. I found them to be generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. The naan was warm and fluffy, the perfect accompaniment to soak up the flavorful curries. The extra rice was a welcome addition, providing an ample base to enjoy the vibrant sauces. While the samosas and palak paneer may have fallen short, the overall experience at Joy Curry and Tandoor was a positive one. The delicious curries, generous portion sizes, and convenient location near Grand Central Station made it a great choice for a late-night takeaway. If you find yourself in the area and craving some Halal Indian cuisine, I would recommend giving Joy Curry and Tandoor a try. Just make sure to explore their menu beyond the samosas and palak paneer, and you're bound to discover some truly yum-worthy dishes that will satisfy your cravings."

"I have been in U.S since 7 years and I never experienced such a bad hospitality in any of the U.S restuarants. This is the most bad resturant for hospitality. Here is what happened to me when I visited Pickles for brunch today (i.e., 2/1/2014). I went to this resturant at around 11:30 a.m. on saturday. I was very hungry. I went there and sat on one seat. Server came and gave me the menu. He didnot turn up until 10minutes, so I called him and ordered “Uttapam” and Tea, I told him to serve me tea after uttapam. Without warning me that uttapam will take 30 minutes to prepare he went inside and gave the order. I was in the impression that I will get uttapam in 5 or 10 mintues. After 5 min, he came and served me tea. I told him I cannot have it until I finish uttapam. He took that inside. I waited for uttapam for 15 mintues, and meanwhile I realised that the buffet for lunch has started. Since, I did not get my uttapam and I was very hungry, I told the server to cancel uttapam and I am going to take the buffet. He went inside and came bask after few minutes and told me that uttapam is on grill. But, I told him to cancel the uttapam since I am having lunch. He did not say anything and I continued with my lunch. After some time he bought Uttapam. I was shocked to see Uttapam on my seat. He dint even waited for me before putting uttapam on my table. He put uttapam and left. When I see uttapam on my table, I got shocked. I called the server and asked him why he put it when I already cancelled it. Then he started telling me that once any item is on grill we cannot cancel it. When I asked him why you dint tell me that when I asked him to cancel it. Now, when I started my lunch you are asking me to take both. When I started talking to this server, that time the owner of the resturant Mr.Nageshware Rao heard our conversation and he started arguring with me. He started telling me that you ordered it and when it is on grill you have to take it, there is no other way. When I told him that your server has not informed me that I have to accept the order when it is on the grill. He was not in a position to listen to me at all. When I told him that I am going to give a review on it. He got angry and asked me whether I am threatening him. I said yes I am threatening because you did not properly communicated me about the order. Then he raised his pitch and told me “I dont care about your damn review, go and do whatever you want”. I got surprised and shocked to hear that. I mean in India there is a saying “Atiti Devo Bava” meaning “Guest is like God”. Here, I am seeing a person who is the owner of the restuarant and when I went there as paying guest, he humiliated me with such an arroagance, I decided never to go this place in my entire life again. Finally, I end up paying for both uttapam and lunch buffet. I mean we go to restuarants to have some peace of mind, but here I am seeing a restuarant that gives you more stress than peace."
