"Stopped in for lunch at Jay’s, it was packed. I ordered a Bbq beef sandwich (Jay’s way, meat and sauce), curly fries and backed beans. The beans were extra, only one side come with the order off the menu. There was a fair amount of meat on the sandwich. The beef was freshly cut and doesn’t have a heavy smoke flavor. The bbq sauce comes on the side and is a vinegar-based sauce. It’s got that tangy vinegar tase but not over the top. I felt the order of fries was small, they were hot when I got my basket. The beans were also hot, they had a mustard flavor, again not overpowering but could defiantly taste it. My order was out fast, meaty sandwich, hot fires, and beans. However, because I prefer a sweet sauce and beans, I give Jay’s an Average rating. Service was great, friendly staff. If you’re a tangy vinegar-based sauce, you will like Jay’s. I would recommend Jay’s but inform them of the type of sauce."
