"This is my favorite pizza place in Long Beach. As a pizza enthusiast, I take my slices quite seriously. The slices bring back memories of my many trips to the big apple, and the beautiful walks I took upon the canals of Venice, Italy. I feel incredibly blessed to have access to such an excellent pizzeria. The deliveries always go smoothly, the pizza is always still hot and delicious. Overall if you appreciate consistently high quality pizza this is the place for you."

"just came into this place to a couple of slices of pizza today, , well these slices were awful , stale and salty as hell, from the first bite you new these was yesterdays pizza, not fresh made today, plus the guy at the counter is a thief, stole money from by not giving me the correct change back, he folded a couple bills in half and made it look like i was getting the correct change back, i work for the hospital near there and telling every one not not buy from there any more"

"I don't know what happened to my favorite French bistro. ordered the family bundle for 4 with quiche, salat and 4 cirtronet species. the quiche was overdone without a crust on 1 side see pic, the salat was the size for 1 person, and because they 't have a baked chef,!? no lemon tarts. I received 2 mini-lime cups and had to choose from which desserts all had left small. also ordered 2 chicken salad croissants salat was in the grunde all mayonnaise, and 2 chocolate mandel croissants very small and very soft and gummy...not like a croissant at all. I have loved this place for decades, but if this is the quality of the food they now and take care of serving, I will have to go elsewhere. only to add, tried all desserts and was thoroughly disappointed. the tiny lemon tart was 3/4 of some inedible white substance not impact cream and the lemon curd had absolutely no lemon taste at all. the other torts were baked with very little baked cream. the only one who had a taste was the cream brulee custard; but there was absolutely no sugar burned up or otherwise. what happened to this facility? sad and very disappointed."

"It pains me to write this review because I’m a fan of La Madeleine and have enjoyed their food at other locations.A friend invited my wife and I to lunch and we were near this location and decided to try it out. The restaurant is set up a little different than the other La Madeleine’s in the Houston area.I ordered the Cafe Sampler 1 2 Entree Cup of Soup one side and my wife ordered a Salmon Spinach salad with avocado added extra $1.59, not bad . I had hot tea, she coffee.I ordered the 1 2 chicken friand with mushroom sauce, French onion soup with no croutons and the side was strawberries cream Strawberries Romansff which they up charged me $1.29 whatever .So … Chicken Friand was luke warm at best and mushroom sauce was cold. They of course had the croutons on the top of the soup, sent it back and they were gone but no cheese on the top the cheese was now in the bottom, so guessing someone scraped off the cheese and took out the bread and returned it. Disappointing. I was looking forward to the strawberries, but found a couple of my strawberries were overripe and mushy bleh. On my hot tea, they didn’t have any black tea like an English Breakfast tea just green tea and caffeine free tea. Settled for green tea sigh. For my wife, it wasn’t much of a salad for the price $13.79 . They forgot to add the bacon and the salmon was cold and tasted old fishy. She also ordered a cup of tomato basil soup that she said tasted “off” sour.Table service was good and staff was overall friendly. Just issues with the food.Again, we’ve both eaten at a variety of La Madeleines in Houston and had great experiences. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but we’ve scratched this location off our list.Total bill was just under $45 with tip for the 2 of us which is getting up there for a simple lunch. But everything seems to be going up.Overall, food standards just were not what I’m used to expect from a La Madeleines."

"Ordered takeout. Pizza curly fries, calamari. It was a strange situation. I drove to the address. No AL Pacino Cafe. The big sign on the restaurant said Punta Cana. I had to call them again to ask where they were. That's when they told me that they were disguised as a restaurant from the Dominican Republic. The food was good."

"The service was outstanding! Gabe made my day. I did not expect such a welcoming and hospitable experience. I was feeling very indecisive about the soups so he let me sample the ones I was interested in to help me decide. I loved their signature tomato basil soup, but decided on Gabe 's recommendation the creamy potato soup topped with bacon, cheese, and green onions. Yum. I picked the seasonal Strawberry Goat Cheese and Almond Sliver salad, but found out that it was no longer offered. Gabe made it for us anyway, which I thought was so sweet! His friendly and warm demeanor was so welcoming that my friend and I found ourselves talking about how great Gabe was and how outstanding his service was. I 'd like to think we got special treatment, but as we were relishing in how amazing he was, we witnessed another customer go out of their way to tell Gabe how incredible his customer service was. We chimed in, 'We agree! We were just saying the same thing! ' Gabe, thank you again for making us feel so taken care of. You 're a gem!"
