"Ordered pick up. Arrived on time for my food. 10 minutes passed it wasn’t ready. Fine it is what it is the store had people in it I understand. Standing in here for 15 minutes just for them to tell me it will be another 10 minutes. Must be the body of Christ they making back there for it to take this long. Disappointed. Foods fine"

"Had the most confusing interaction with the cashier today. Soda machine’s CO2 was broken, so I asked for a water cup. Lady yells at me and refuses to give me a water cup telling me the machine was broken. I told her I only wanted water which was not affected. Manager finally gives me the water cup and allows me to get water. Ordered a green salad with my sandwich; got a Caesar salad instead. When asked if this was a green salad, the person bringing it out insisted it was a green salad not a Caesar salad. The food is fine(if they get it right) but the service is pretty awful. Even the manager seemed unwilling to help. Don’t plan on coming back anytime soon until management wises up and fixes the service problems."

"I love this place. For some reason, the young lady doesn't have a good day. She took my order with an icy mind that it was not busy, had not to order around me. Then she has a face I can't describe. She didn't give me my prescription because she ran away. I don't know. I didn't even realize I left. When I called for my order, I asked her if you put butter and jelly in your pocket. It's a real breakfast. She has nothing day and went on her back to get what I asked. So, what I understand, she didn't have one in her to take order. I said thank you and she just turned around. I've never experienced such a bad service. Like I said, maybe it wasn't her day. She should stay home?"

"I was impressed with the trio sampler, which was very filling, and I appreciated that they make the salad fresh to order. The portions of chicken salad were generous, and the toppings on my spinach salad were delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and even bringing out freshly made mango tea when it ran out. The restaurant is a great spot for a healthy meal, and the service is efficient. The staff member who cleared our table was very kind and made us feel at ease. I always enjoy my visits to this restaurant."

"it was good, but the part has become very small and there was no broth as before, so we were disappointed. we have eaten there weekly, but I think for the price he has lost his appeal. that makes me sad, and no one checked for us when we drilled through the ordering process, it took a long time for our food, I ate as my man told me to proceed so that it would not get cold, and I was done when his meal came. I know the times are hard, but I'll have a good time."

"Updated July 13, 2022; this is my third update to this review. The food, staff and service have continued to improve since a really bad experience years ago. Today we were running errands in the area, and stopped in for breakfast. Although they were busy, the food came out promptly, warm, well seasoned, and very tasty. While we hesitated in the past to return, I can now safely recommend this location and we will be back! Thank you la Madeleine for making improvements at this location."

"Very disappointed in todays visit. Person taking orders didn’t put in what I asked for so I instead got a different meal. What I got was good; eggs cooked perfectly and croissant was good but the tomatoes were pathetic and soggy like they had been sitting already sliced for a day or so. We came early for breakfast so you would expect things to be stocked but silverware wasn’t as I had to ask for a knife. Also condiments for coffee were not stocked and there was only 1 stir stick in the container so I used a spoon instead. Soda fountain was gross and needed to be cleaned as the ice dispenser was covered is something nasty. Plates for bread were dirty and like the other areas, wasn’t stocked."

"bad location in Houston. Consistency food is made like its sit all day or days ago, frozen amd microwave and there are always fruit flies in the jam donor. they also load xtra to go for orders (other locations not) but can not manage to pick up plastic goods"

"I have ordered take out a couple of times from this place. The food is delicious, especially their salmon and chicken w/ mushroom sauce bundles.Sadly, their service isn't the best. I have had multiple issues where the salad is missing from the bundle (seems like a common issue based on other reviews).On top of that, today's service was horrible. The cashier was pretty rude with an attitude that she didn't want to be there and to put the cherry on the cake, I found multiple long hairs in my French vanilla fruit parfait.I am disappointed since the food is really good but, the service and possible sanitation, isn't great."

"The restaurant keeps expanding their menu and increasing prices, but much of it is not up to par. I have been a regular customer for 30 years, but it is disappointing to see the decline in quality. Despite this, I still enjoy a few items on the menu, even if I know I will be overcharged. When I try something new or revisit an old favorite, it is often a disappointment. For example, the $16 Italian sub I ordered had subpar ingredients like brown/grey salami. This is a clear sign of poor management. The restaurant needs to make improvements or they will not survive. I am not giving up on them yet, but I will not hesitate to share my honest feedback."

"Always good. Great breakfasts. Even after 10 years, the eggs are just as light and fluffy as I remember. The croissants are delicious and my omlet was really good. There's lots of bread available near the beverages along with lots of condiments, even what seems homemade jellies. Fancy place but priced like a normal restaurant. Great ambiance. You do go through a line like a cafeteria. A fancy cafeteria to where you don't even realize it's set up like Piccadilly but fancy foods like quiche, croissants, tarts, etc. This place is 5 stars and would be higher if I could give more. They sell jarred sauces and other items you may like. Lots of tea and coffee. Service is good, but not table service (servers). It's just a person going around to make sure everyone is ok. I like the set up of this place. I know they sell lunch but I don't know if they stay open for dinner. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good breakfast spot and it's even fancy enough even to bring coworkers or have a business meeting."
