"We had reservations for my son's birthday at 8:30p. As I work Mon-Sat. 1-8p on Fridays. We were seated immediately even though it wasn't 8:30 yet and not everyone was there. The young lady asked for our drink order we told her but also told her we had 2 more coming. She acted mad about that. She brought our drinks then wanted our order. We told her we are waiting for the other two. She asked us rudely so you're gonna wait on them? I said um yeah our reservations are for 830 that's still 2mins off. When they got there she asked if we was ready. I said the just sat down can you get their drinks first? She rolled her eyes and huffed. She got upset when we wanted more drinks. She got really upset when I asked for the cake I had her put in the back.. I asked for for plates and forks. She ignored me. Then brought the cake in the sack and got mad when I asked again for plates and forks. Oh and she had them start coming to take our food. I wasn't half way done because they forgot my daughters steak and I gave her mine because he got hers mixed up once he got it and gave it to her medium rare when she asked for med well. He did apologize and fixed it. Then my mom left to go to the restroom she took her food and the ice cream she had just brought her I told her she could leave it. She literally looked at me and took it! Absolutely the worst service ever! I know it was late and closing time but you all offered a group of 8 to come I at 830 for a birthday party. It was obviously gonna go past closing time. Very rude!"

"For $50, I had a perfectly prepared fillet mignon and scallops over fried rice with sauce vegetables and the most ingenious and personal feeling (almost concierge like) service. Not only was the cook one of these charismatic and entertaining types, but the owner himself has seats, serves and gives you recommendations for drinks based on simple smaller preferences and unloves. I did not have this kind of experience and service anywhere I can remember, and I am a great foodie and hard critic of fine restaurants and restaurants. My wife and I dine regularly, weekly, as we've worked very hard to earn the ability and privilege. So I don't suppose to spend my money easily. $50 is an expensive meal, but this includes the 18% service fee that it is earned and earned at this level of service. I can't tell enough how really brilliant that was. If you are looking for this special fine culinary experience, do yourself the favor and come here, trust me you will not be dissatisfied. The showmanship from the cook is just the right amount without this swaying feeling. He prepared everything in this careful way that ensures that each product is cooked exactly on specification. It's fun to watch him close the objects and move between them while making the funny anecdotical joke and a show. Also, you should really try to die some of their Saki options, the Yuzu and Cucumber Saki are for in summer heat! I almost didn't want to make this review, honestly, because this is such a jewel of a place and I don't want to make it hard for me and my wife to come, but we literally went on a Sunday night, provided we eat dinner earlier than most, about 5pm, so we probably beat every rush."
