"This place is just awesome. Visited last Thursday evening for the all-vegan buffet and was blown away by everything. So many delicious choices for food, kind and fantastic people helping out. Loved the Pani Poori demostration, the dosa were to die for, and I ate waaay too much Saag Tofu. Everything tasted SO good. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Thank you!!"

"We've been going to Bollywood Grill since it opened and have never left disappointed. We're very picky eaters and won't return just because a restaurant used to be a favorite. That's never been an issue with Bollywood since it's so consistently fresh and tasty, and we believe the best Indian in town."

"Delightful under-the-radar FiDi restaurant with a huge menu, including harder-to-find classics from southern India like uttapam, idli sambar and dosas as well as the standard northern Indian tikkas and biriyanis. Can be crowded and bustling at lunch but the service is attentive and food comes flying out of the kitchen, piping hot."

"The chaats are terrible. Papdi chat was missing almost every spice. It was bland and soggy. Barely taste any yogurt, the sweet chutney provided was more sour than sweet and lacked any hint of chilies or other spices. The Gobi Manchurian was like a giant tree of cauliflower (you do know that the cauliflower flower florets need to be broken down and then crisped) and soggy!! Surprisingly the flavor was better than it looked. The samosa chaat was decent not exactly gourmet butit had some flavors come through. It lacked the crispy edges of the samosas and it looks more like a potato patty instead of a samosa. It?s a aloo patty chaat instead of a Samosa chaat. I don?t know what to say about the vegetable biryanibecause they forgot to provide the biryani (and wanted me to come back in person to provide a credit or pick it up again). The Paneer was decent, nothing gourmet again. The cubes were soft but the curry was just downright average. Thenaan on the other hand was just simply undercooked and raw!!"

"The restaurant has great selection of Vegan Vegetarian options. They make food based on your spice level (mild, medium or hot) The restaurant is beautifully designed and has a great staff/service!"

"This was our favorite Indian restaurant 20 years ago. We hadn't been in a long time since we had moved to another part of the city. We moved back to this area and thought it would be fun to go back there. Never again. We waited an hour for our food which was simply awful!!! The naan fell apart and the insides looked like cat food, really! My Chicken Vindaloo was the worst that I have ever had and my husband's shrimp was burnt to the point that it tasted like nothing. He never came to check on us and when I asked for a second cup of tea, he charged me for it!!! I had waited almost fifteen minutes to get it and we were done eating and waiting for the bill. No chutneys were given with the naan. If this was my first Indian food experience, I would never eat it again. Go to Taj Mahal in Hales Corners if you want good Indian food with great service. Avoid this place. And there was a fly trap on one light fixture and some sort of food drippings next to me on the wall. Just gross!!!"

"I was blown away that they have a lunch buffet with clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options! Even the salad bar had vegan and vegetarian signs including their salad dressings and sauces! I LOVE Indian food! Generally buffets aren’t as good as ordering and this buffet wasn’t an exception but I had to try it because of the clearly marked signs. The buffet was only $12 which is pretty cheap for Indian food. I’ve ordered off their menu before and if you know what you want I would recommend this over their lunch buffet. Their website has their menu so give that a look."

"First time here! Loved the food and the service, this place as a whole is getting 3 stars because they served EVERY DISH CHIPPED!!! That is NOT okay man! The food industry relies heavily on safety and this is a huge safety hazard, corporate has to fix this problem asap and get new shipments for plates. My parents had come earlier and the same issue happened and the manager gave his word to fix the plates, guess what second time and the problem isn’t fixed!!!! It’s not the customers responsibility if a shipment for plates is delayed this is just basic restaurant etiquette. Once again the food was amazing and so was the service but no other restaurant would serve you with BROKEN plates that’s actually insane like actually insane lol?! ?"

"The taste of Taj staff is very friendly and make sure your meal is perfect. If you've never been an employee, help with menu selection. Xavier is a fabulous waiter/server/host. Very helpful, drinks never run dry. Would highly recommend. Chicken Tikka Masada is 10 out of 10. Butter chicken 10 out of 10. Vegetable pasta, kabobs, mushroom soup, everything is delicious. No need to worry about eating too spicy as you control the spice level. The adjustment is also available for the takeover."

"The restaurant provided excellent customer service and the food was incredibly delicious. My mom, who cannot eat spicy food, enjoyed the perfectly prepared Afghani chicken kebab. The mango lemonade was both refreshing and tasty. I tried the Kashmiri malai kofta, which was one of the best I've ever had. My sister ordered the pav bhaji, which tasted just like the street food in India. The lamb was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of spice for my husband's liking. Overall, our first experience at this restaurant was fantastic, from the atmosphere to the food. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning in the future."

"that will be one of those strata that everyone says there must be more, but, believe me, there is not. five of us from 50 to 70 went to dinner on Saturday. we ordered a cocktail, sat for a few minutes and visited, then ordered another cocktail together with 6 Entre dishes. we had a very normal evening until the owner manager came to the table and said that her bartender said that he had a lot of alcohol and she hoped that the ladies would go home. what? at this point we had a drink every day. one of our party had to argue with the waiter to get his second drink. in my 70 years and a million restaurants I have never experienced an offensive, out of line, outrageous and sexist note. the food was really good, but they will certainly not have to worry about who drives me back home!"
