"I am so glad I chose to visit this restaurant on the last day I was in town. I saved the absolute best for last. Otherwise, I would have never been to any other restaurants in the area. What an amazing experience! It doesn't say it's an izakaya style restaurant, but the menu and restaurant set up feels like one. As you enter, there is a full bar to the left where they craft some pretty awesome cocktails. As you walk in further, you'll see the large sushi bar area that has a good amount of seating around it. The menu has all kinds of kitchen and sushi appetizers as well as hibachi, noodle dishes, and specialty sushi rolls. I even saw omakase and Korean dishes. I didn't see any yakitori on the menu, so I guess it's not an izakaya. It could definitely be one if they added it. The lunch special menu (Mon-Fri) has a BYO bento for $17 with lots of yummy choices as well as sushi lunch specials. I'd be there often if I lived in Rosslyn.I don't see their drink menu online, but they have quite a selection. It was a tough decision because all the cocktails looked good. I went with the Summer Punch because I prefer rum over vodka. It was a wonderfully refreshing drink that had Bacardi dragon berry rum, passion fruit, ginger, and other flavors. It was perfect!I knew I wanted ramen. They have so many different options with quite a few being hot spicy. The Toryumon Tantan ramen was calling my name. I asked Terri about the spice level, and she was super helpful in answering my questions. I was so happy with this decision. I'm still thinking about that heart warming bowl of ramen. Seriously the best tantan based ramen I have ever had. Even the ramen egg was amazing. It had a good amount of minced pork and noodles. You can get an extra ball of noodles for $2 more but it wasn't needed. The tonkatsu broth was spicy (but not overly spicy), and had red peppers and leeks. It was the right amount of heat for me, and it definitely had a kick. It's what I needed to clear my mind after a long day... and my sinuses. What I love is that you can make your bowl extra rich by choosing your pork fatback level. I didn't need to do that. It was perfect the way it was. But, I have never seen that before at other ramen spots.Well, I wish I had more trip days in Arlington so that I could try the sushi as well. The service and quality of the food also won me over. This won't be my last visit. The restaurant is located on Wilson Blvd. Just a couple of blocks from the Hyatt Centric. Don't hesitate when booking a hotel here in Rosslyn. I can't wait for another trip to this area just so that I can revisit Toryumon."

"Unbelievable experience with the teppanyaki chef tonight! I forgot his name but he's been working at the place for a really long time! (37+ years) Everything about this place from its decor and theming to it food and especially its chefs is just top notch! Some of the plates and interior decorations and even furniture may be a little bit older and have wear and some may even call it dated, but there is just some experience and theme with everything fitting so well into the Japanese Castle theme! They also have their own sushi restaurant area. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice. The salad to start was actually pretty good, It came with thousand Island dressing. It was just a standard Japanese restaurant salad. The fried rice was also really good but even if you ordered just the steamed rice you still get a little bit of sample of the fried rice. The fried rice was just absolutely amazing with butter as well as egg and its tricks beforehand. The filet mignon was very tender as well as the shrimp being cut into a very specific shape that made it very easy to cook it and also very easy to eat! There were also two different sauces depending on if it's for seafood and one for meat. Both of which were really amazing in their own right. The chef also cooked some bean sprouts too which was a nice touch. I really love the chef's own tricks such as the volcano as he moved it around like a little train as well as the straight fire that ignited the oil with such classic teppanyaki fashion! That's not to say too, that he passed down his own skills to other chefs that came after him as well! I came here for my birthday so not only was there a $30 off coupon but also free ice cream with matcha and vanilla flavor. Which was very nice for that purpose! That's not to say that this place has any flaws, the wait took nearly an hour after we placed our order, mainly due to the chefs going around serving and cooking at multiple tables. Some of the reviews also complain about billing issues as well as a mandatory tip of 18% whether that's already justified or already planning to tip that much, just be aware. Overall, this is just an amazing experience that certainly justifies its price. It's just so unbelievable that a classic place like this can be razed for a hotel (i think it might be a Marriott but I'm not sure)... Many of the employees are very sad as well as the local community, but they say they'll do their very best until the very end next Wednesday when they close! As for the chef that served us tonight, he'll be retiring with full benefits! Everything to the theming, decorations, people, and the food! I'm glad I could try this place that I drove past a lot when I was smaller and wondered why it was so popular. Parking: During busy nights it can be difficult to find spots"

"Looking for more parts of Jacksonville, I came across this small institution where I tried her salmon sashimi and it was of perfect quality. However, I am convinced that you must weigh the price of quality to determine what is the best offer for sashimi and while the quality was spectacular, the price was, in my opinion, steep. Now I would dare to say if this place would be to offer and all you can eat Sushi nigiri and Sashimi for a 2-hour window and they had to eat as much as they could in a 30-minute window to be fair to other males.... Tell a person for $30 to $35.... I would definitely pay this hi for such quality. Now of the six places that I specialize for sashimi, this is in my number two easy for the fact that there is the highest salary salmon sashimi that I had in all Jacksonville, but the number one goes to Miya Sushi, which may be just a 5% difference in the quality of her laugh for in everything, you can eat price of $28 for dinner menu. I think that for the pure amount you can get for a lower price there is a low quality difference. However, I applauded Sushi factory, because I very uncomplicated and blunt about these reviews and all the others I have in the last 10 years do not even come close to two top options. I will just come back because I support a company that maintains so high quality standards, even if it costs me now and then a little more to visit and partake."
