"I went to their weekend lunch buffet this weekend for the first time in a number of years. Before COVID I think the buffet was around like $13 or $14 per person, but now it?s like $21. The food was good, but I don?t think it was worth $21, especiallybecause the service was sub-par. I waited like 15 minutes to get a water refill, which when you?re dealing with spicy Indianfood should be a sin. I?d say the buffet is worth it for a special occasion, but not for an average weekend; otherwise you?rebetter off just ordering take out."

"This was my third visit and, as usual, Vindu did not disappoint. I have only ever been here for lunch which boasts a well stocked buffet. When I arrived I noticed that I was only one of two non South Asians in the busy dining room in my experience a good sign in Indian restaurants. The mixed vegetable pakora, chicken tikka masala, and veg masala stood out today. The naan was a bit dry, having sat on the buffet too long but the gulab jamoon more than made up the deficiency. Give Vindu a try."

"A gem in middle of Memphis. We were on our road trip and we were in search of something special from Indian cuisine. And Bingo !!!! Delicious south Indian delicacy along with North Indian curries. So so reasonable charges with Large portions. The owners and staffs were extra ordinary and so friendly. This will be my must visit restaurant when ever I am in Memphis. Guys give it a try. Dont miss it. To the Management and staff : Great job and Keep it up"

"I have eaten at Namaste twice. The food and service are excellent in this beautiful restaurant. Once I was with a friend from Bangladesh who stated it served authentic regional cuisine. Although Berkeley is full of great restaurants, the outstanding feature of this restaurant is that it is really, really quiet (due to extremely high ceilings so conversation is easy for all patrons at a table for six or eight. Although the truth is that our group was at the restaurant from to when there were relatively few patrons so the noise level was low in any event. However I believe it would be relatively quiet even when truly busy. Highly recommended"

"I'm not sure I would recommend this restaurant. The first thing I noticed upon entering was how sticky the floor was. In fact, my girlfriend's shoe stuck to the floor so much that her foot slipped out of it with each step. Not a great start. On a positive note, the server was nice—very attentive and helpful. However, the food left much to be desired. There wasn't much spice in the dishes. I ordered the lamb vindaloo, which was just okay. The samosas were tasteless, and while the pork chops were decent and had good flavor, overall, I’m not sure I’ll be returning."

"We order Din for Mutton biryani. The court alone cost $20, but the food they gave us is burned. We immediately informed the server. They pretend to buy the same food again. To cover the burned foods, they added a lot of red food color. Worst experience. Worst food and service. I suggest pna chat bhavan they have good food there."

"I've never had bad Indian food in my life until today. I have tried many different Indian restaurants, and while some are more delicious than others, it was never disappointed. Indian food is always good. that wasn't. I ordered chicken tikka masala and what I got, not even slightly resemble any tikka masala I ever had. it was bright yellow and completely tasteless. I had tikka masala sauce from a glass that was 50x better than that. I can't find out if they gave me the wrong court, or if this is just the worst tikka masala that ever exists. Portions are kind of small. two stars instead of 1 because the mango leti only redeems something about this whole order."
