When she mentioned that she introduced her Trinidad influx together with Australian local botanicals in many directed, I was sold. we booked a table last night to meet friends, and the 5 of us had an amazing experience. the new menu tanya is created elements, and it really is about our 5 senses. the quality of the meals we were served shows the team in the kitchen, although quite young masters a series of techniques. not only are the teller beautifully presented, they also taste amazing. the flesh was tender and cooked for perfection, the black melted in the mouth, the aromen danced on our tongues. an amazing experience that our friends who traveled almost an hour to meet us and our offer are ready to have again regularly. highly recommended."

So sad!! I can only assume with all the street construction and other places on this block shuttering that they fell away from top of mind for people. I hope they relocate. "we were very disappointed by our thanksgiving day culinary experience in parc. all in my party of 3 ordered the Thanksgiving meal. at first, it was just tepid. second, the truthahn was cut by a roast and not the whole bird. third, we ordered one of the meals without heavy, but it came with heavy force and had to be sent back. there was a long delay before the meal finally came to our table. fourth, the torte was unpirited for dessert, usually and lacked in taste. Finally, the waiter accused us about the check and we had to send him back twice before he finally got it right. overall our experience was extremely poor both service and food quality and not what we expected from a stephen rigid restaurant."

Great bread and butter appetizer but many restaurants offer something like that as a complimentary starter. The lobster pasta was delicious. The mushroom rissoto was good but a little bland. I loved the truffle fries. I would definitely go back. They have a lot of great options on their menu. Would love to try the steak next time. For any brunch lovers out there, they have dulce de leche pancakes! "

"I’ve been a fan of Garrison for two plus years since I moved to DC. It always was a dependable reliable great place with good ingredients great recipes and good service. I dined 10 to 15 times over two and a half years. When I read this morning that tonight was the last night of service I was dismayed and booked a table immediately and especially because a good friend who I had met there was in town. Unfortunately the last experience was very poor. Garrison didn’t take care of us and didn’t honor our reservation; they didn’t meet their commitment to us and we went elsewhere and had a great time but, you know, we missed what might’ve been a great sayonara to a great place. I wish the chef the best. But I’m going to go to his next place with a question in mind now about how he treats loyal guests. I’ll be providing a more detailed letter to the Washington Post and the New York Times. This place was good enough that it warrants a watch."

"On a frigid Sunday in February, around a full house of boisterous brunch-goers, I went to The Manor for possibly the final time before they shut their doors at end of March. Cozy but pretty, great window view onto 125 St, I had the Beef Benedict (unctuous filling) and partner had the Spaetzle Hash (unique tasty). With coffee the bill was $47, service friendly and quick. With limited brunch options in the DT core, this classic tucked in behind around Urban Diner (the owners' focus) was a great choice, and reminded me how much I'd enjoyed the space in years past, especially on the summer patio. "Enjoyed the beer, the food and the atmosphere. Ordered a simple sour, a Pilsner (I forget the name) a cauliflower mushroom pizza and hot wings. The pizza was also simple but good and the wings were just the right amount of spicy and crispy without being overly done. The beer was deliciously simple. The sour was sour but not overly sweet or fruited and the pils was classically refreshing. Everything was great, wish I had the tolerance to go through the entire draft selection, but then the rest of the list is calling me to make another trip back here. We shall see what I order next time."
