"I recently tried some dishes from Adaraka and I was blown away by how delicious they were. I ordered the Rogan Josh, chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, garlic naan, and peshwari naan, and all of them were excellent. I had trouble finding peshwari naan in the USA, but Adaraka had it on their menu and it was a delightful surprise. The Rogan Josh was a new dish for me, but if it's always as good as it was here, I'll definitely be ordering it again. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic as always. I placed my order online and was initially told it would take 20 minutes, but I received an email alert saying it would be 45 minutes. However, I was pleasantly surprised when my order was ready in just 25 minutes when I arrived at the restaurant. I was able to find convenient street parking right in front of the entrance. If you enjoy Americanized Indian cuisine, I highly recommend giving Adaraka a try!"

"We like the food at Tawa. We used to go to Tangra Biryani (TB across the street from Tawa particularly for their curry goat. Once TB closed (which we didn't know why at the time , we began to check out Tawa and fell in love with the place. Come to find out month later that TB and Tawa had merged businesses, so now our favorites were all in one place. We haven't been disappointed with the food nor the staff whom with open arms always greet us with warm welcomes and conversation. We enjoy our time everytime we eat here. Our favorites and what we pretty much stick to: 1. Curry goat 2. Saag Paneer 3. Chicken Tikka (which is like a grilled chicken with no sauce 4. Chiken Tikka Masala sauce (we usually just put sauce in a bowl minus the chicken that's in it and dip, dip, dip away! 5. Tandoori chicken 6. Biryani rice"

"We dropped early (6:15) and greeted immediately. We soon enjoyed the tamarinden Auberginen-Appetizer (sweet, stinginging, delightful), the lamb corma (creamy and dreamy with fluffy basmati rice) and the Tandoori shrimp (plump shrimps and veggies with a complex but mild sauce). We will soon return to this excellent restaurant."

"The restaurant has numerous vegan options and our waiter was more than happy to point them out. He even told us which of the standard dipping sauces (the green) was not vegan, so we did not make a mistake. That said we would like to see vegan items marked clearly on the menu. We had the Mulligatawny soup (acquired), cucumber salad, Chana masala, mixed herbal curry and chapati. We ordered the chana masala hot (options are mild, medium and hot) and not disappointed."

"I can't find out why people's negative reviews leave for the life of me. the prices are on the point for the opposite, the staff are some of the most friendly people I have met in new jersey, raju and saad take care of me every time, and that eating is amazingly delicious. the lunch buffet is spectacular every time. they really care about the customer and come from a place of authenticity and ease. I really believe that people have only tormented American Indian cuisine if they feel that it is missing. I live near newark and the Indian food outside there is much more expensive, and smaller portions. it is worth definitiw. 5 stars each time."

"This restaurant was closed, but OpenTable allowed us to make a reservation for a large group and confirmed it. We had to try to find alternative plans. I was very disappointed with OpenTable's lack of current information."

"Some of the best quality Indian food I have had. The chicken Tikka Masala is a standard in every buffet but this was obviously the freshest and best seasoned dish I had ever tasted. The chicken chunks were all white meat and extremely tender. The naan was fresh hot and not overdone. Our appetizers came too late to enjoy but they had told us after entrees came that our selection requires an extra long cooking process (steamed chicken dumplings called “MoMo”.My only complaint was the nasty state of the bathroom. The floor has obviously received many “once over” with a dirty mop and brown water. My shoes stick to the floor and there was a buildup of dirt in the corners and along the base of the trash can. Gag! How is that even legal. Someone needs to teach the help about disinfectant. Will stick with take out in the future."

"Our group of 25 people arrived at the restaurant on a busy Sunday without warning, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. They set up tables in the back room and served us Dosas and Mango Lassis. The service was impeccable and we had a wonderful time with our church group. The staff even asked us what music we wanted to hear, which was a nice touch. The food was amazing, especially the butter chicken and mango Lassi - the best in town! We absolutely love this place."

"we eat here all couple weeks (often enough that they remember our typical commands). there is no problem with modifying a few dishes to make them vegan. Moreover, there is a marked section on their menu of vegan food. great place."

"Originally, it was taken because I thought they had a buffet, but Covid must have changed their menu. Instead I got the lunch plate and was very pleased with the size of Naan bread and wiper tikka masala and saag slices. The Naan was extraordinary. I'm definitely back."

"This is a small restaurant with a powerful kitchen. Their sauces were perfectly spiced and reminded us of the local places in Northern India. Service is helpful and friendly and the pricing fair. A great neighborhood oasis for fine fare."

"There was a delicious dinner at the Palm Palace Indian Restaurant. The owner, Robert, commented that I always arrange the same, and I told him that I was concerned to try something new as I was not familiar with Indian food and its various spices . He listened attentively to my preferences and made suggestions that were perfect for my palate: vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and palaak wiper. The only dish I didn't crash was my ordinary garlic naan. An adventure for the taste buds!"
