"I was staying overnight in the University District and was looking for a nice dinner, but since it was late on Veterans Day, many places were closed. I stumbled upon this restaurant as I have always been a fan of Indian food. The menu had a great selection, and the waiter provided helpful suggestions. I ordered the Samosa Chat and a Salty Lassi, both of which were delicious. The Samosa Chat had a mix of textures and flavors, with a sweet and hearty curry. The Lassi was rich and flavorful, probably the best I have ever tried. The prices were reasonable. The dining area was clean, although the bathroom was a bit damp. I noticed the dark back hall where the kitchen was located and wondered about its condition. The cook was friendly and helped clean up, giving me the opportunity to chat with him. The food was presented beautifully, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. This restaurant was perfect for me, and I would highly recommend it for a high quality meal."

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning after being invited by a friend to celebrate my birthday. He had been recommending this place for a while and urged me to try it out. They offer an all-you-can-eat champagne brunch buffet on weekends. While the champagne may not be top-notch, the bubbly and festive atmosphere made up for it. The hostess kept our glasses constantly filled, perhaps thinking we were on a date as she always smiled at us. Maybe it was because of her limited English, but I appreciated her hospitality. The buffet spread included a variety of dishes such as Lamb Saga, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Curry. The food was delicious and spicy, which I enjoyed. It was one of the best Indian all-you-can-eat buffets I've experienced. The price was around $10-$12 per person, which I found to be very reasonable. I was so impressed that I recommended it to my sister and her family. They offer a $2 off coupon for the champagne brunch on their website, which Chinese parents will appreciate. The restaurant also has its own underground parking garage, making it convenient to visit."

"I usually don't write reviews, but more people should know about this place. The food here is fantastic and made with love. We have tried the other Indian places in the area (including those in Franklin) and they do not compare at all. Our servers were Freddi and Peter, they were both super friendly and delivered excellent recommendations. They also did not seem to remember when we had a lot of questions about India, where they were out, food, language, etc. My wife can sometimes be really annoying, but they did not seem to worry about her Yapping, it was a relief for me! We had to begin the tomato soup that had a really unique taste, it was easier that other tomato soups I had in the past, but the taste profile was more complicated. For a main course we had Lamb Vindalo, Chicken Madras and a random vegetarian dish with 9 vegetables, herbs and fruits. Everything was better than any Indian I had in the area. In addition, Freddi made some really good drinks that my wife loved! Not too sweet, refreshing and easy on the sauce. I think next time we'll take a Uber so we can taste all cocktails! Very recommended!"

"We went here as early Valentine's Day dinner and were really impressed. The drinks were a little expensive and extravagant then used, but over the whole dinner for two was not excessive The food and service was amazing. The seafood stew was one of the best dishes I ever had. We really enjoyed the super cozy atmosphere. especially my friend, who is always cold, loved all the fireplaces. 10 of 10"

" safe bet to say that ordering takeout from this restaurant would be a better experience than dining in. Unfortunately, the service was quite terrible when my group visited on Wednesday Dosa Night without knowing what to expect."

"Beautiful hidden gem near Pike Place Market. The food was excellent and perfectly cooked, and the price was amazingly low compared to nearby restaurants. We ordered Momos, Curry and Naan. The Momos we are fresh and tasty, the curry was tasteful, Amd the Naan was fresh from the Tandoory. Just warn is for a lower spice level than you are used. We like spicy food, but even spice level 3 was something too spicy. If we're ever back in Seattle, we'll definitely be back for more delicious food."

"A friend and I decided to come here for the 1st time this week and we were not disappointed. Starting with the atmosphere, I really enjoyed that they had Indian music videos playing. Outside of watching a one off Bollywood movie I have personally not heard a lot of this genre of music so it was nice to hear different kinds of music from the Indian culture. The 4 stars just comes from some of the decor that seemed out of place, like the paper doilies under the glass on the table that looks like it was left from valentines day. Nothing major but just something I took note of. About the serive, the women that waited on us was really nice but she was MIA sometimes and based on the conversation I overheard from 2 elderly women that were sitting close by she was neglectful at times. I didnt have any major issues with the service I just wish she was a bit more attentive with our drink refills or just updating us on our food since there weren't a lot of people in there dining and we did have quite a wait for our food. She later explain that they made the tandoori chicken to order so it takes a little longer. I also noticed that even though the dining area was empty the seemed to have a lot of doordash, ubereats orders come through. So, about our meals. Everything we had was SOOOO DELICIOUS and well worth the wait! The samosas were packed with filling and flavor. It was paired with a green type of salsa and a sweet kind of sauce. Not sure what the actual name of it was but they were both tasty. As you can see from the video I added my chicken tandoori was brought out sizzling hot and my grilled onions were ACTUALLY grilled. I hate when restaurants throw raw onions on at the last minute and and they try to pass off slightly warmed up onions as grilled onions. It's a BIG pet peeve of mine, mostly because I dont really like raw onions. So, I was happy to see that the onions on my plate were actually grilled, cooked, and extremely flavorful. The basmati rice that came with my meal was cooked to perfection and the yogurt curry sauce was ?. All of this plus the garlic naan was just heaven. My friend had the butter chicken and that was just as good. After our meal we decided to try some dessert and got the balls. I will search the actual name for that dessert and add it to the image. It was my 1st time trying that and it was better than expected. It kinda reminded me of bread pudding. Like it would be bread pudding's distant cousin or something. I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like but that's what it reminded me of. Either way it was pretty good. Ultimately, we really enjoyed this place and had a great experience here. I know a lot of people are ordering food for pick up but I highly recommend going into this establishment and enjoying your meal there."

"I liked all the food I tried here, the Mulligitawny soup was my favorite, but the lamb Naan and lamb with onions and ginger were both tasty, the masala chai was a bit too sweet for me but otherwise on point. The fried appetizers had been sitting for a bit Ithink, they weren't fresh out of hot grease for sure and the fried chicken was dry and tough, all together its a good place toeat."

"I was looking for a new Indian place and stumbled upon this place it's a gem! The dining room is very small, it's really just a single medium sized room, but the service is great and the food is outstanding at a very reasonable price. Not sure if I'd continue to dine in, but definitely will get takeout again, the value and quality and quantity make it a grand slam!"

"Here a few times before learning that the rice is not vegan. They threw a vegan bread so we had something to eat with our ducks. Food was delicious, but I wouldn't go back because I prefer to eat Indian curries with rice."

"I must make time to revisit this restaurant! I ordered lamb vindaloo and tried the naan bread filled with cheese. It was amazing! Although I had to wait in line, the experience was worth it."
