"I had Thai in the USA and that and a place in Alaska are the only two places where I ever felt that they made authentic Thai food. The cook makes his own spices weekly I believe) and if someone knows something about spices, it makes a HUGE difference. I tend to order a Lvl 10, but I am this person who does not find most food hot. The servers will tell you how fresh the spices are, so if you order, do not go too spicy and if you are more... They bring more. My favorite dish is the yellow curry... and again I had yellow curry in dozens of dozens of different restaurants.... its delicious. I always stop when I'm in town."

"amazing flavor I always get the ultimo burrito. grilled vegetables, fresh made salsa baja, jack cheddar cheese, baja rice sour cream packed in a warm flour tortilla with their favorite protein. in salsa bar I recommend the baja salsa. fire grilled salsa. this burrito is huge. love you eating. her chicken quesadilla is so good with the grilled chicken. the chips had no taste. it can cost more the taco bell, but it is 10x better and 3x bigger."

"I went through a phase in which I would come at least 6 nights per week and order the exact same. I love the owners and they always ask how I and my family do it. in that they even gave us freebees for a holiday! my favorite part of this place is her mango salsa! sometimes I come here to buy a pint. large Cal-Mex food, very generous portions and the most friendly staff of all time. they should not go out of business!"

"The steak tostada has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. The tostada shell is half the size than what it used to be and it was stale. The employees seem like they were forced to be there and lacks customer skill. At least say Hi or what would you like? , not a single word. Not even to tell me my total but point to the display. "The reviews are missing the obvious selling point of this place: the prices are so reasonable and the proportions are so large that the natural comparison point is basically Taco Bell rather than the much higher quality places that people have in mind. It?s good quality food that can comfortably feed two people for around $12-15, and there?s enough variety to keep families happy. Again, in the Mission District of SF there are an abundance of places that accomplish that but since this is close to downtown DC that combination of items gets this place five stars. "This was my family's go to place. We order the same taco kit almost a dozen different times. This time I noticed the price increased but that was ok. But when I got it home I noticed the meat was half as full then normal. Not ok! Called and asked hey may be there was a mistake, but nope they said it was right and I was wrong and the other times I ordered they just might of over portioned the meat."

"The staff was kind and professional however did not call me to notify me there was no mango salsa. So I a little disappointed to find out when I get to the location to pick up our office order they have no mango salsa, mango salsa was a choice on the online menu and it hits big I'm our office. To tell you the truth if we had of known that they did not have mango salsa today we would of not placed our order. It totally bummed us out and no one really wanted to enjoy their food. Advice is to keep the mango salsa, this is a disappointment. Next time I will be sure to call."

"We've visited Baja Fresh for years. You have great chips and high-quality food. Until recently, their salsa bar was unsurpassed, but with Kovid there was no self-service. They always introduce new specials, and we love their Carnitas Burritos. The only negative I can think of is that they tend to overcook their meat, but they will cook to order if you give them certain instructions."

"This is really good fast food Mexican. It's not fine dining, but for what it is, it's damn good. Covid has closed the salsa bar, which is a shame, but they'll give you little cups pre-filled when you ask for them. Everything is made fresh with quality ingredients and it's all very tasty. And the servers are really helpful and nice to me, as well."
