"Sooo.. I didn't think to post a picture until I was almost finished with the meal. But, this place was recommended by a friend. I ordered basil fried rice special and Thai tea during the lunch hours. They were both very delicious and had a refreshing taste! (Though I can't speak for the authenticity as I've never been to Thailand) the food here was one of the most delicious Thai meals I've had in the Hampton roads area!"

"I ate here on my birthday. They intentionally way way over cooked and salted my meal I was sharing with absolute strangers on my birthday meal. I was paying, it was my birthday dinner and the chef acted as I wasn't even there unless he wanted to use me for his lame jokes. He served the person getting my free meal first giving him half of a three portion dinner. (The smiling chef) When I took a bite of my food the person working the floor was watching me and laughed. Then I tasted it. it was all salt. Bloated stomach and headache. Dont forget to Say your grace if you are gonna eat here.No Full refund? I was made to pay for a meal $130 I didn't eat, strangers did. Happy birthday to me!"

"We have been coming here for the past couple of years, the food is normally very good. But during the most recent visit my Nard Nar was tasteless. The vegetables were under cooked, the noodles were swimming in blend liquid, the noodles and chicken had no taste. Wonder if their regular chef was off for the day and they had a guy that doesn’t know about Thai cooking?Hope our next visit will be much better. The waitress was as nice and friendly as usual."

"Return to 1901 for the second straight year for a birthday dinner. We sat right on arrival. Again we sat in April and immediately recognized them from the food there last year. She remembered where we sat and what my wife ordered last year. Once again, she was super, 6-star service. She was very friendly and up all night. The restaurant was on the loud side and very busy, but gave most customers a very nice view of the port. I had the Tuna Tataki and my wife had the Calamari for appetizers and they were delicious. My wife had the ribeye, it was cooked on request and was very good. I had the Scallops Risotto and I really enjoyed it. We are very glad that we decided to return to 1901 to celebrate my wife's birthday! Thanks again!"

"Best Thai restaurant we have ever been to! They have a sushi bar that adds to the variety of appetizers you can order from. The vegetarian rolls were made to perfection. The Thai dishes we ordered and have ordered hundreds of times in other places were some how made to perfection! The ambiance is lovely and classy. The service is good. Only complaint was that the cocktails, although presented well were a bit watered down. The place was a two minute walk from our stay at the best western media center. Loved it!"

"This place is amazing. Drove over an hour to eat lunch with my wife after stumbled on a Google search. It was absolutely worth every minute of the ride. All sushi we ordered was made with very fresh ingredients and was delicious. As a person who has spent time in Korea, I am usually easily left after when I ordered bulgogi in the states. The Boggi at Dynamite Sushi is without question the best I had in the states and is even better than some places in Korea. The meat was tasteful and so delicate that it simply dissolves in your mouth. My wife had the chicken tempura and was also very pleased with how tender and moist the meat was within the perfectly fried, crispy outsides. I'm sure I'm gonna make the drive to get back here."

Sushi is well-designed and sushi rice quality is great. You can see them in the posted photos. Ordered Hamachi Kama Yellow Tail Collars), Fried Calamari, and Deep Fried Oysters for appetizers.
