"we have come to this restaurant every few years over half a time span. this time we were inconsistent with eating and although we like this historic building and ambiente, we will not be back. we both got the top of the president who looked tasty, but the chile relleno was a solid, uncooked pfeffer with a hard cheese in a fried teig. the chicken enchilada was filled with chicken, but also tasteless. all in all there are many other fabulous restaurants in los angeles with amazing authentic foods."

"The large signs on the building include Frozen yogurt, Chinese food, sandwiches, salad bar etc. There ISN'T any Frozen yogurt or soft serve. Salad bar has few ingredients. There is reheated general Tsos chicken available and sandwiches are pre-made. The absolute worst thing was not only wasn't there any TOILET paper in the bathroom intended for patrons but when I notified the manager(? , (the guy who was constantly on his phone he repeatedly told me that they don't supply TP that there is an airblower. When I clarified for body not hand drying, he patiently explained it again to me, air dry. Not only didn't I see anything of the sort but the idea is disgusting and not sanitary. This is a gas station without appropriate toilet facilities and not any kind of a market."

"this little gem is located in the city part hato rey in san juan and offers traditional PR food to die very cheap trips. they also have a lot of wonderful weeping for just $19. a bottle. better quality wee are just between $26 and $39 a virtual steal. they had music in the night when we played them with a talented woman electronic piano during the singing. I'm back."

"Mother's Day Brunch was wonderful. We had a friendly attentive waitress, she even brought smaller glasses for the kids. Nice spread with many options for breakfast and lunch. Everything was well seasoned but not overly salty. The omelet station probably took the longest but both people in my party who had them said they were good. The waffles were a little cold, but there close to the door which may have played a role. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, even my picky eater whose favorite was the champagne Alfredo pasta and fried chicken. I had both breakfast and lunch options and it was all delicious. The complimentary sangria (we had white and red at my table) was also delicious. The decor is beautiful! I can't comment on the quality of desserts, we didn't see anything we wanted but there were a lot of options. Our reservation were before noon but it was quite crowded as we left. We will be back! Great experience."

"first visit here as my wife and I stay in silver jump for a few days. alex g was our host and server, and he is excellent at his work. this dedication is more rare in restaurants. our order: aperitivo empanaditas plato mi tierra reis and bohnen, plantains, marinated hen, carne, slow boiled pigeon and swirl what is good: rice and buzz, plus the slowly boiled pig, both are remarkable. the planos were sweet and delicate, and the bark meat and the chicken on the mi tierra plate were also delicately delicious. in the did the mi tierra is an excellent evening meal to share as my wife and I did. the empanaditas were good, I wish they were again bigger, they would be just empanadas! in sum: this is a great local restaurant for home cooked eating well prepared. if they are in silver jump, they should stop."

"STRONGLY suggest... Empanaditas Olga Picadillo flavor. Tostones Fried Green Plantains. Picadillo a lo Ñeñe A magnificent Cuban hash of beef, speckled by green olives and capers, with diced potatoes, onions, and green peppers joined by a soothingly seasoned tomato sauce. Bistec Palomilla Finely marinated and thinly sliced top sirloin, flame grilled and blanketed with minced onions and parsley. Mariscada A hearty mixture of scrumptious seafood: morsels of fresh fish, sparkling shrimp, tender squid, clams, mussels, capers, and black olives in a rich tomato and garlic sauce. Snapper Tropicana Crispy snapper coated with green plantain, draped in delicate scallop cream sauce and topped with grilled shrimp. Ropa Vieja Old Clothes Shredded beef in Cuban style sauce with tomato, garlic, onion and red and green peppers. Everything I have had here is amazing. But the Bistec Palomilla Mariscada are my top two favorites at the moment. MOJITOS are AMAZING. And the flan.... is TO DIE FOR. Service is EXCELLENT. Best Cuban in the entire DMV area hands down."

"I like a la brasa. I like eating. I like the quiet, polite server. I like the prizes there is not much seating. we saw that many people get out. there is a fairly large room where it seems as if another table or two could go, but it is actually used to stand people as they are on the counter to order, pick up and pay for their food. there is no parking space. it is a limited menu. the decoration is more austere. they give you no chips and salsa, however, there is a constant stream of people who come to get food. that is because the prices are right, eating is good, and it is fast. I will not take anyone there to impress them, but I will often go there to get a good meal."
