"We wanted to try this place for some time, especially during the warmer months when you can sit outside on the veranda. We were in a sandwich fashion and decided to check their original Cubano sandwich and the Cubano Especial. Prices seemed a bit steep, but it was nice to support a local business. I really wanted to try her picadillo $20, so maybe next time we have to do this. We went at 7:30 a.m. on a Friday night and there were many seats that allowed the temperature 34° F and no one wants to leave the warmth of their house. This place is usually packed in warmer months."

Delicious! It's my first Cuban food I've ever had... and it's amazing! The Plantain is so unique and tasty... the Pastelon de Carne Eloisa (Plantain ontop of Ground Beef) and File de Pollo a la Parrilla (drilled chicken) are so good! Last but not least the Mojito grande...is the MUST HAVE...

The food was amazing!! We have dined there twice during our 8 days in the D.C. area. The owner and the staff were so friendly and attentive. They gave great recommendations as I first tried authentic Cuban food. I feel in the love of COFFEE and the lemonade drink the owner for our table (not on menu)

Comfortable, friendly and cozy, there are plenty of seating between oil paintings and other decor. The staff is super friendly and the food is made clear all fresh for every cartridge. The Sangria is GOOD! highly recommended, especially for other silver jumpers who consider going for dinner. Skip traffic, reservations and disappointment and head here.
