"I was only in Nashville for the weekend and wanted to check out some of the more popular spots, and this restaurant was talked about a lot, so I came to check it out. When I walked in, there was no line, and I had to wait for some other patrons to come in to share the table. I was seated with a couple from the area, and the family style dining experience began. This was my first time eating family style, and it was cool. They started with a plate of bread-biscuits and cornbread with some butter and jelly. Soon after, another couple joined the table, and that completed our table for the night. Throughout the evening, we shared plates of fried chicken, mac and cheese, fried fish, string beans, fried okra bits, coleslaw, baked beans, etc... We had big jugs of sweet and unsweetened iced tea, lemonade, and water. For dessert, they only offered one option of something like a strawberry casserole that was just OK. I definitely felt like they should've had more dessert options. I loved the concept because you can taste more than one thing and then take more of what you like. The staff were very friendly and the experience was very affordable."
