This food was amazing! My friends and I finally understand what true soul food is. Chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, vanilla wafer pudding, it doesn't get any better than Monell's. The owner, hostesses, and waiters truly embrace you with southern hospitality. Also the garden and little ponds are gorgeous. If you are in Nashville you have to make Monell's a stop :)

Worst food I have ever eaten. We had a party of 13 only 3 of those people were satisfied. Most left hungry and ended up having to go elsewhere to eat. For the extreme price the food should have been magical. The only saving grace was the fried chicken, which would have been better if it was hot and crispy. The wait staff were great but the owner's need to hire better chefs. The food would have been better at Golden Corral and that's saying something.
