"rockwood speaks a good game about their burgers being the best, but that is not the case. sure, they can put them on the ground from a mix of ground meat, etc. but they do not taste better than any number of places. and what is the point at all when a table like our ordered a medium rare, a medium, and a medium good and they all come from the same (medium well) I guess the cook thinks he or she is a baseball player with 300. pretty good, or? no."

"Very bad quality food on 4.28. 2022. The food was not freshly prepared. The offers were dry, old and reheated. The macaroni was bland. The hostess was a little angry. The rolls were good, and when our waitress brought us another roll basket, she put a new butter container in the previously used. I love this place and I haven't been there for two years. This was a special day (the birthday of my daughter, so we were especially excited for the fried pickles and dessert. The fried cucumbers were perhaps the only thing that was fresh on our table this day (including the roles, but because of the quality of the rest of the food we passed on to dessert. My daughter ordered the offers (alt and steak (too hard to cook / chew with macaroni and asparagus (very hard to cut and I ordered the Bayou shrimps and coffins. The sauce was cold and still too thick. The shrimps were hard and the offers were old. The food was well served and perhaps refried or heated. The Pommes were also old. Maybe we caught her at a bad time. We visited Thursday, 4.28 at 6 p.m."

"I've never been disappointed. I've ate here many times. It's generally my go to restaurant, when I prefer something outside of the fast food industry. The yeast rolls are a delicacy. I love everything on the menu. Many healthy choices to choose from. And if you prefer great cuts of meats this place has it. The service is spectacular. The atmosphere is awesome. The cost of the whole experience is competitive. Drinks are not watered down and mixed to perfection. I never had to wait for a table. The staff have a very good COVID awareness system set up to help protect it's patrons."

"Good food, good service, pricing appropriate with the type of restaurant. The food portions were on par with the pricing. The appetizers came out before the meal. Drinks were brought quickly and stayed filled. Server was available when needed and did not hover. Food was tasty and cooked correctly. Check was available at the right time, it was easy to pay and get a receipt. Leftover container was brought quickly. Overall the restaurant had good food, good service, clean environment, and nothing negative to comment about in this review. I would definitely recommend for others and I would definitely go back again."

"The waitress was very good. However, the cook totally blew the meal. Items were left off the order and the meal was below grade. Manager tried her best to make it right but by then the meal was a bust. Ordered a drink from the bar before the appetizer which finally arrived during the meal and wasn't what was ordered. Again the manager tried to get the problem solved however she had to refocus on the meal issue and at that point she was visually upset. I don't blame management or the waitress but they need to get their act together. Better luck next time? I hope so."

"PERFECTLY cooked filet mignon, fall off the bone ribs, best chicken tenders EVER, and a FABULOUS new brownie bites dessert topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauces! Our server, Brittany, was fantastic and the manager, Rob, was so kind and could be seen helping servers clean tables, seating guests at the door, and checking in on guests making sure their food was great. Kudos to the kitchen staff as well for hot, delicious food that came out very timely for a Saturday night! This restaurant ran like a well-oiled machine tonight! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!"

"Stopped in for a quick appetizer and drink after running errands. In between lunch and dinner hour the restaurant was fairly busy and we sat at the bar. The bar tender was also waiting the bar area tables and it was no issue as we were the only patrons at the bar. The service was great and even when it was realized that two of the beer taps were switched and the wrong beer was served it was corrected quickly and gracefully with apologies and a good laugh with a manager and bartender over the oddity. The menu pricing looks reasonable with nice options for casual fare and entrees. We enjoyed the shrimp and stuffed crab appetizer. No loud music, TV'S for sports, nice service, decent prices, good atmosphere; going back soon as a good go to place."

"A friend and I were at a car meet in the parking lot and decided to grab a bite since we were early. Glad we did. I got a breakfast sandwich and coffee and both were good. 2 meals for $15, even better. Hard to see from the sidestreet but worth a look."

"I placed a to go order here and waited almost an hour in my car for it. I eventually walked inside to go get the order. When I walked back to my car and opened the nachos that I ordered they looked like this. Trust me when I say it looked more appetizing in the picture than it did in person. There were probably a total of five chips with toppings on it. I walked back inside and asked the lady if she could have them remade. She told me “our nachos come like that”. I hope to god they don’t actually serve their nachos like that because I wouldn’t feed that to my dog. She finally said she would send them back and ask to have them remade. When she came back not even two minutes later she threw them on the counter and walked away saying nothing. Terrible customer service. I will not be returning."

"Service was ok but the food was horrible. We ordered 2 campfire potatoes and they were blueish/green and hard. They were not done! I told the waitress and ordered fries to replace the campfire potatoes and they were over done! Was the chef trying to say something here?! My daughter ordered mac n cheese and it was not good at all. There was no cheese on them, just dry noodles. 3 smash burgers were ordered and they looked as tho they were cooked in an oven? Thats not smash burgers at all! They were gray and wasn't browned. Just not impressed at all, dont think we'll be back."

"I ordered the grilled California Chicken Salad to go. This is my favorite salad. Nobody does it better! Chicken grilled just right tender not dried out. Fresh lettuce fixings! "I usually don?t review restaurants. Even if they?re bad. But this meal I was just served and this service I received has my feeling like I?m in the 6th circle of hell. The waiter acted like he was high and didn?t give us straws, set our salad on an empty table and literally just left it there, and spilled our soup all over the bowl, while simultaneously carrying a tray with a drink sideways dripping on the floor. Don?t even get me started on the food. Usually it?s decent here and I like it, but tonight prison food would seem more appetizing. I got a top sirloin which looked gray? As well as boiled, and tasted rotten. My mom got a Louisiana sirloin MEDIUM WELL, and it came out a nice purple. Some of the campfire potatoes my dad got were literally raw. Not coming back for a while after this."

"We visited on a Monday night and after making a reservation, only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. It was pretty busy, but the wait staff was incredibly friendly and treated us very well during the hour we spent at this restaurant. We started off with the croissants which were incredibly fluffy and I highly recommend everyone try these delicious pillow-y appetizer! The chicken sandwich was amazing and the honey mustard on it made it 100x better! My boyfriend and I found ourselves asking for some extra honey mustard to dip our fries into! The ribs were decent but not anything too special! Furthermore, the views from our table were incredible and well worth the small wait we endured while waiting for our food to arrive. My family and I would definitely come again and recommend that others visiting the area stop in too!"

"Before I order a Uber Eats, I called the restaurant to see if they are able to remove the bacon from the Steakhouse Potatoes, as it does not allow changes in the app. The lady I spoke with sounds insecure, but said yes, I could do that. Put the order and called back immediately and believed it was the same lady I spoke to earlier. She wasn't the professionals and I had to ask her if she needed my name for the order. I made my request and said she would let the kitchen know. Either she did not tell them or they did not acknowledge the request because lo and behold, there is bacon; I don't eat pigs and it won't eat. Had taken from other reviews and not ordered from here."

"Today, my husband and I dined at O'Charley's restaurant on Jefferson Davis Hwy in Chester. This was our first visit, and we were truly impressed. The food was outstanding—the salad was fresh and the baked potatoes were delicious. However, the steaks were nothing short of PERFECTION. It's been many years since I've had a steak cooked exactly to our liking. A huge shoutout to the chef! The highlight of our meal was definitely the interaction with our waitress, Miesha. She was incredibly efficient, pleasant, and friendly—truly a gem for O'Charley's. We will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for an exceptional dining experience."

"Our meal was incredible food-wise but it wasn 't until after our biscuits and appetizer were long finished did we finally get our waters delivered to the table. Then when it was time to check out, our server came back to our table and asked us to clarify which card was for which bill again 'because he wasn 't paying attention when we told him the first time. "I wasn't much to this place, but if it were cheaper, I would definitely go more often. The food itself tastes really good and is a good quality. This is even after we brought it home and sat it for a few minutes. I could just say that because it was really good, it would be better in the restaurant. Regarding the price, you are on the same as other businesses as these. About $10-12 for a meal. The only grip is that I and my sister have made the pickup of the curb, and they have never brought out our food. It turns out there was a mess, and basically I think they didn't know it was curbside and that it was Door Dash. Since I've been working in the food industry, I know everything is happening, so it's completely understandable. I'm mainly saying that you might have to go in if you're just going to the curb. I can't say much for customer service, but for the minute I was, people seemed really nice. I would recommend this place."
