"Been coming here for over a year, and I’ve never had anything bad. Today I had the Snow crab boil bag, with shrimp, crawfish, and the other standard fixings (eggs, corn, etc). Get the Juicy special seasoning, you won’t be disappointed. This was the best boil I’ve had in a long time. The fried catfish and golden fried shrimp are great too. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean."

"Solid seafood meal at Peter's. We usually eat in the casual, self-serve side of the restaurant and hadn't been at the full-serve restaurant in years. Three in the group ate broiled fish, one ate flounder oreganato. Two had soup, two shared fried calamari. Food was very good. Key lime pie for dessert was just okay."

"I love this place! was taken here a few years ago for birthday and we recently returned for the birthday party of a friend. the mood is warm, friendly and uplifted, without being sniffed or polite. my friend did not feel the ono-fish special, but when the manager passed to see how we did, he quickly and graciously allowed her to replace it, she ordered the scallops instead (the were awesome.) I would come back in a heartbeat."

"I traveled from San Diego to Birmingham Alabama and tried BBQ all the way to pierce the southern states. Blue Moon BBQ had the best tasting BBQ!! I had only Saw's BBQ the day before in Birmingham and it was really good, but Blue Moon's pig was more tasteful with good pieces a delicious bark!! Loved her sauce and chow chow also!!!"

"I recently visited this restaurant after avoiding it for years due to poor experiences with a rude manager, unappetizing food, and unkempt workers. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have greatly improved. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was much cleaner, and the overall atmosphere was better. Although the previous manager was not present, I was disappointed to see that the salad bar was missing and that the value for the price was unbalanced. The prices seemed a bit on the higher side compared to the quality of the food."

"A long favorite restaurant with many specials as well as fan favorites. Love the great old-fashioned wooden bar and also the “library room” with books on the wall. Food is absolute perfection we had only delicious meals here. Many vegetarian options, try the crispy sweet and sour Brussels sprouts escape. "They have decided to hand the reservation system over to a computer, so you need to have a smart phone to read a QR code to go to a special URL. I'm sure that is very convenient from THEIR point of view, but it is far slower for customers to go that route than to call and make a reservation at an ordinary restaurant. The person at the front desk was downright snippy about people not wanting to use the software. I have an a computer hardware and software engineer for most of my life, I am not scared or reticent to use them. But they are and ask the answer to all questions. That is, the patron suffers for the convenience of the restaurant. We had a couple of meals where the meat was insufficiently cooked. We had one meal where we spent over half an hour waiting for the check. The food, when it was good, tended to be very good, but it's clear, perhaps due to the end of season, that there was chaos in the kitchen. Not a fan."
