"This place was a nice find, located close to many hotels downtown. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and a very easy to use Yelp waiting list system to get a table (make sure to use this to get an estimate of when to be there! The food was good, although not every selection was a winner. The potato cakes were somewhat bland, but I had the grilled cheese supreme on another visit and that was quite good. The flavoured lattes were also great, and the omelette that my wife had was delicious. The service was excellent to add to that. We've been here multiple times and would certainly go back again."

"When we thought in I was sure this was 5 stars, but I gave it 4. The main reason is that waiting personnel need better training and supervision. Small things like not touch the coffee pot on a used cup to fill it or take customers to a dirty table and they stand there and wait while the staff clear it. Dinner was good, we were here for breakfast."

"The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! I had been looking forward to dining here and I was not at all disappointed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and the drink selection is impressive. I highly recommend trying Wilson's Old Blue if you have the chance, it's amazing. I ordered the pulled pork and it was delicious. The meat was juicy, perfectly cooked, and the sauce had just the right amount of zing. I have to mention the fries as well, they were outstanding. A friend of mine had the steak and it was absolutely phenomenal. The outdoor seating was also very inviting. I have to give a shoutout to the waitstaff, especially Paige. She was fantastic, checking on us frequently and taking great care of us. She truly deserves a raise, so friendly and a joy to have as our server. I cannot recommend this place enough. Don't waste any more time reading this review, just go and you won't be disappointed!"

"We had a 30th anniversary party yesterday and we did the back yard BBQ catering. First of all, this catering is so reasonable priced it was a no brainer. The two men that came.. ones name was Jack, I forgot the other ones name.. but they were both so kind and professional and I wanted to say thanks for all your hard work. The set up and clean up was seamless and the food was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. I will certainly recommend Belmont hall catering to anyone and will be using them in the future as well."

"I have been coming here 15+ years since I first moved to the area, I would consider myself a loyal regular. Supported them during covid by ordering carryout when I could and since things have gotten back to normal back too going weekly and taking friends all the time. I wouldn't write a review but I was so upset after our recent visit. I brought a friend that was visiting from out of country and sat at the bar, the bartender who I think might be the owner, could not wait to get rid of us, after grabbing our plate she immediately gave us our check and then came back shortly and wanted to take it before we had even had a chance to look at it but obviously that was supposed to be a signal to pay and get out. My friend felt very uncomfortable and immediately gave her card so we could at least continue out conversation but at this point she came back with the processed receipt and literally asked us if we could take the conversation elsewhere as there were regulars waiting to be seated. Note there was no one waiting to be seated and there were empty tables. Its been years since I have been anywhere that treated a customer like this, it was very upsetting. I used to come here every weekend, even on my own without friends I would sit at the bar having breakfast, reading a book or news and not once was I ever treated this way. Well after many years now looking for my new favorite place."

"As a first timer, I was impressed and will definitely return. The staff were welcoming and engaging. The Sangarita was refreshing and delicious! Who new combining sangria with a margarita could be so good. The mushroom French dip burger wow! Fresh, tasty and amazing. The only knock was cold sweet potato fries delivered with the meal. I requested hot fries but never got them before finishing my meal. Overall, a good choice."

"Originally, I had made a reservation for two weeks ago and the restaurant cancelled last minute, citing that open table had made a booking error. I decided to try again at my next availability. The bruschetta and mixed drinks were excellent. I highly recommend trying the lemon drop. Great service! Our server was very attentive and made fantastic wine recommendations. I was super disappointed to learn that steak wasn’t on the menu; even though I had scoped out the menu prior to making a reservation. The pork was mediocre at best. Zero ambience. Nobody wants to sit smack dab in the middle of a loud restaurant on their anniversary. Overall, this dining experience missed the mark."

"Fast service, friendly waitresses. Cozy atmosphere. But the food, the FOOD! I had stuffed french toast and my boyfriend had pancakes, sausage, and regular french toast. We shared hashbrowns. The french toast took it for us. The stuffed, if you like raspberry, is heavenly. A bit smaller portion than I expected, but with how decadent it is probably that is enough. The regular french toast is just a delicious. It is soft and sweet, with cinnamon-y spicing. Boyfriend also loved the pancakes. Everything was under or near $10, so not too spendy."

"We were there on Saturday. This place was packed and the service was overwhelmed and we waited for 2 hours for the food. The food was good. Service is very nice and friendly seems family owned by the Italian family and some of the children who work there recently came to the USA. Music played outside. Very nice atmosphere. Great idea to spend a weekend dinner."

"Fantastic restaurant with a great breakfast and lunch. I would make it tasteful as an American style menu and made it with care. I had the fried Steak breakfast and was very happy. The steak was almost the size of the plate and was crispy outside, and Juicy inside. The potatoes were well made, tasteful and were not fat at all. The severity was well done, un fussy, and came in a generous part. My fiancée had the cake for lunch and it was great. Flaky, buttery crust and plenty of delicious filling. Veneta is lucky to have a restaurant of this quality. Prices are reasonable and the service was great. I don't remember the name of the waitress (friendly Latina woman), but she was attentive, friendly and fast. Come on!"
