"I wanted to check this place for a long time and finally. I wish I had done it earlier! I tried a few things from her menu to get home. The #1 on Chibatta bread to begin. It had prosciutto, mortadella, genoa salami, sopressata, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was one of the best Italian subs I ever had! Then the ones: Grandma Pizza. Thin crust square pizza with olive oil, mozzarella cheese and sauce. Again delicious! With two soups. Pasta Fagioli and chicken soup. Both delicious! The Pasta fagioli wasn't the best I ever had, but it was still fucking good! (Forte's still doing the best Pasta fagioli) The place was packed, but the entire staff was great! In fact, they forgot to fire my pizza and insisted that I take a free dessert. I tried the caramel brownie and it was fantastic! I will definitely return and look forward to trying more of their pizzas, sandwiches and pages!"

"I’m feel so so lucky to have had my wedding here. All the guests kept commenting on how beautiful the space is, and how great the food was. George, the owner, and Nina, our coordinator, worked with us from beginning to end, providing excellent, honest service. They even dealt with my crazy mother (who upturned the main table right before the guests were about to be seated and requested “Eternal Flame” to be played three times) so deftly that nor I or my guests noticed that anything went wrong at all. The food was excellent, the cups never went dry, and the attention to detail of the service staff was awesome. Thank you again George and Nina!!!"

"The first time. You can even smell the Smokey Aroma before you go through the doors. Once inside it was a relaxing atmosphere for an intimate environment. Our server, who also leaned the bar, was energetic and answered all our questions. He was never too far away. Food was fabulous and tasteful. Note, the prices are somewhat more expensive, but the food tastes really good. Now we asked for Dessert and let him go. The bread pudding is great. It's enough to feed three people. It is a combination of sweet potatoes with pecans and a rum sauce that was right. I'd say these drinks come and drink an appetizer as a bread pudding to settle down. Great place for families or friends to meet. I'm back."

"We enjoyed our drinks and the Bacon dress from Burke with maple black pepper glaze along with pimples and a lemon wedge. The server that provided us with this dishes and ripped the bacon gave us great advice! He said to eat the bacon with the pimples and then try it with a lemon. There was a completely different taste and it was delicious! Thanks for the tip. Normally we would have ignored the pimples and lemon. Our ducks were okay. The Cacio e Pepe was not Cacio e Pepe. You barely cost the cheese. It was more like fatuccine alfredo. The dish also lacked salt and taste. The only part we liked was the scallops and shrimps that came with him. Definitely not worth $48! The Filet Mignon was okay. The truffle polnta was pretty good. Just not worth $14. It was such a small part. Dessert: It was pretty good. We had the bigger pot de crème. Unfortunately, we were unable to have coffee because they stopped to use it! We've never seen that before. Very disappointing! The waiter wasn't nice and had no personality."

"We were very excited to eat at McMillans, it's a very upscale restaurant with great food, and views! However New Year's Eve we had a reservations for McMillians , not the bar at McMillians, but that's where they put us. At first it was quiet, but as the night went on the bartender and people at the bar got very noisy, and it was very disturbing for our course meal. Next time I will make sure to not let this happen again. The good was amazing, and the service good"

"Giving it 5 stars because it’s the best meal we have had out of 5 on the island. And best margaritas! Made properly with lime juice and not sour mix. My “skinny” one was truly without sugar. Excellent just like in Mexico. Also had a delicious very fresh swordfish sandwich. Simple but good. Decent fries. Homemade coleslaw was a bit over dressed but appreciated the freshness. Husband enjoyed his Asian chicken salad. Great views ocean breeze. Overall pleasantly surprised by our lunch here. Better than the disappointing lunch at the Lobster yesterday and at least on par with dinner at Bluewater Grill."

"Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water."

"The service, the ambience and the food were fantastic! We ordered the smoked fish diving and pita chips as an appetizer and split both the spicy seafood linguins and the crab cake dishes that came out on four plates for easy serving. I was just as impressed by how the meals were served before us as if we were in a five-star restaurant, but not so full. The roasted potatoes and vegetables are perfectly flavored with a lemon dill, and the crab cake was both light and savory. The linguins had four large scales, shrimps and shells and had the right amount of heat. We enjoyed craft cocktails and overall the price for a seafood dinner was very reasonable."

The garlic bread was great. Dinner came soon after the appetizer and looked flawless. The seafood-filuccine dish had such a fantastic taste as well as the seafood risotto! Don't skip the desserts! "yesterday evening, Sunday. it had a local feeling and was very busy. the bar had people who eat at her so that no place to wait for a table, except outside or at the door. It was a bit loud with a lot of rambunctious tables. people who have fun. the menu had a large selection of different seafood alternatives plus some not listed specificities. petersilienkartoffeln seem to be in almost any option and my man said that they are good, along with his cod. I have read the tuna (fortunately) incorrectly, which has proven to be a delicious salad with perfectly grilled tuna. desserts chocolate, karamell torte erdnus butter cakes were delicious (peanut butter cake was rich, but light, excellent.) coffee was great, fresh. bartender gave me the glass of pinot grigio that I ordered while I waited for our table, but the most expensive alternative. beautiful pier to look, looked like there were tables out there."

"badly trained staff. I sat at the bar to get a quick eat before the movie. had to change the seats because the bar (mostly empty) was dirty. I should have gone. instead I ordered fish and chips. I asked the bartender for a beerlist because they have so many. she brought my fish and chips and never asked if I had chosen a beer, never offered a glass of water, never offered malt and edgy for the fish or ketchup for the fries, or even a serviette. Beyond that, it was easy to eat the worst I ever had. if they want to go there and have some pops, sure. they want to eat or good service, they will save themselves the insult. with such a great location they should make much better. if a manager reads this contribution; Why did you come too horny to open such a place? I tell them that wilmington deserves better than this class. update 3-22-2022: her answer was that I share my feedback on another email address. my feedback has already been shared in the evaluation. I don't know what else I can share with them as if they read their negative reviews for a year back they can see that these problems (bad food quality, poor service, dirty conditions) do not only return, but they had more than enough time to fix them."
