"Just moved here to South Lawrence, was online looking for a Great place too order pizza and more. Found Nick's Place, 10% off 1st online order, so I ordered a Lg meat lovers pizza and steak fries. Super fast delivery awesome delivery person, pizza was cooked to perfection, this will be my only go to place for pizza, pasta, subs, dinners and more. Great hours also. I have been to their Winthrop location great friendly service and food, what can I say thanks for having a location in here in Lawrence. There is no other place to go to bit Nicks Place their menue covers it all and everything is fresh and has very reasonable price$. I will not be going anywhere else! I have never had a bad meal at either location! Thanks will be back"

"The extensive menu has an amazing variety of Thai and American items, plus really affordable lunch specials. I recently tried the fried portobellos which were crunchy and delicious. The freshy rolls are always a great bet. I love the spicy eggplant chickn stir-fry. Plus there are all your classic Thai items like soups, noodles, and stews… even desserts! "Heard about this place for a while but never got a chance to go before till this week, I loved it and so did my friends! Love that the drinks are served in plastic to-go cups, the food was delicious, the menu has so many options that it can be a little daunting but the staff there was friendly to help us. Also get something with their action sauce I'd recommend the mystery fries, that action sauce is amazing ended up taking some home with me lol Love that they have many options for multiplayer gaming from Gamecube to Xbox at the tables! This is defiently my new hang out spot and it's just a few blocks from the L train! If I had one complaint it would be don't get there too early in the day cause the sun beams through the front window like crazy, hopefully, they get a shade or curtain for that one day!"

"I was working a little bit longer in Bethesda today than I anticipated, and I had a craving for a grilled cheese sandwich. I decided to look at restaurants in the area that was within walking distance from my job, and I settled on Heckman's Deli. I was especially excited to try the grilled cheese BLT sandwich meal, and so I ordered that for pickup through Uber Eats. It was ready within 10-15 minutes, and I couldn't wait to eat it. Unfortunately, when I got to the sandwich, I discovered that it was just a plain grilled cheese sandwich. No bacon, lettuce, tomato, or mayo. I was utterly confused and saddened by this. I ended up calling the restaurant and the manager was shocked that my order was wrong after I explained to her what happened. She apologized and I appreciated it very much. Even though the restaurant couldn't give me a refund, I was able to get my money back via Uber Eats. I'm not sure what happened today that caused my sandwich to be totally wrong, but I'm willing to give this place another chance. I may have to try ordering the food through the website as opposed to Uber Eats, but I will still give Heckman's Deli a try again as the food was excellent."

"The worst dim sum in Portland! The restaurant itself smells really bad and looks dirty. Several customers walked in at 11 am, when they actually open and it took 20 minutes to order food. They sat everyone at tables first which means they didn 't take orders from people that came in first. There was only one person taking orders, passing food, seating people. They didn 't give any waters to us or many others either. They marked many popular items on their menu OUT but turns out people still ordered them and we had to order different items because we had no idea that they didn 't update their menus. They brought one plate of dim sum every 10 minutes. Then our last plate was supposed to be the house special pan fried noodles but it didn 't mention it had like 3 different types of protein (pork, shrimp, chicken) and half of it was burned the other half and was sitting in what looked like broth. Definitely NOT pan fried noodles! Not only was it bland, they burned half of it ! You can tell most of the people came because HK cafe was too busy, that 's why we did. I still smell like the horrible Restaurant and super upset I had to eat bland dim sum. Please do yourself a favor and just wait in line at HK cafe because the wait time will still be the same or longer."

"We ordered the spicy seafood udon noodle soup, but it was overly sweet. I ended up picking out the noodles and eating them separately on another plate. The Mongolian beef was also too sweet for my taste. We decided to dine here based on positive reviews from others, but we were disappointed. The waitress was not very attentive, even though it was not a busy night - the restaurant was only about one-third full."

"While travelling for business, my husband and I stumbled on this restaurant. The food is incredible, and the outdoor seating area is lovely and relaxing. In fact, we returned for a second time during our trip because we liked it so much! Highly recommend, and if business ever returns me to Houston I will be sure to return!"

"We've already eaten here, but that was perhaps even a better experience than in the past. The food and the prices were really good and the service was top notch. We really know that we just closed 5 minutes before the kitchens, and technically the entire closing time, we were able to order a bottle of Bubbly (we were there for an anniversary) and they were us without complaint. They even let us sit for as long as we had to complete our toast and drinks when they began to clean up at the end of the day. This is so different from some other places where we were where they start pressing you when closing. Our only minor complaint was related to lighting. We sat outside what was great, but the lights couldn't be dimmed, which led to a bright setting when the night came dark. I hope they'll talk to you."
