"So this evening I was lucky enough to have her Highness the fabulous Sophie Ricci at my dinner table along with my good friend Carlo Prisco..From the time we entered Vico's front door till the time we left Chef Vincenzo and his lovely wife Maria along with there staff completely Wowed us like we were Movie stars..Believe me when I tell you I nor Sophie or Carlo have ever had a dining experience like the one we had tonight at Vico..Chef Vincenzo didn't let us look at the menu, He just asked us what we wanted and he made his version of it..From the focaccia bread to the eggplant campanelle and the Leek soup to the lemon risotto and the cacio Pepe and Carlos salad it was just amazing. For dinner Carlo had the cioppino and Sophie had the fresh halibut. I asked him for swordfish and it came out grilled with spinach, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The flavor in all of these dishes was just top-notch. I can honestly say that the three of us were wowed with every single bite..at this point the 3 of us were completely full until Chef Vincenzo waved his magical wand and presented us with an entire Dessert Platter which consisted of cannolis, tiramisu, creme brulee, and chocolate mousse. This ladies and gentlemen was completely over the top. The absolute best dining experience I have ever had in my life. In my opinion there isn't a restaurant within a 50 Mi radius that's even close to Vico...Absolutely a must try"

"Okay, it's thanksgiving and we should be grateful that the restaurant was open. but there it stops. they were completely booked for reservations, but they must have limited the number of reservations they took because when we arrived there were very few diners. it took forever to welcome to our table. brot Bas came 15 minutes after asking if we wanted one. asked for her salat with blue cheese dressing instead of the house vinagrette (I can not lean vinegar based dressing) and was said there were no substitutions. omg. are you sweating? $47 for dinner and I can't get any other salat dressing? then when I ordered my meal, I asked to leave the asparagus and maybe just a swallow of her filling that would be softer to eat. again, not possible. I don't know that as a waitress. seriously? they were not busy! the turkey dinner of my man was very good, but my urn, which was the order medium, was served red and raw. at this point I didn't want to ask for another accusation because it was just not worth it. halfway through our meal my man needed a drink. waitress was not close to us to ask for the drink. water glasses were empty and would remain so for the rest of the meal. that was a totally disappointing experience. we have spent the last 7 or 8 years at one bistro for thanksgiving. it is the way and wise of my man to share a quiet dinner, to be grateful for each other before visiting related for dessert. every year we look forward to going back. I make my reservation on the first day possible, which is usually on 1st november. we will not go back next year. I know that they will not miss our business, but we will not miss their lack of good service, improperly cooked eating or their lack of appreciation for their customers. a very disappointing experience, especially since one bistro is/was our favorite restaurant of all including Boston destinations."
