"I have been frequenting this restaurant for years. Recently, I have observed changes in the dishes I typically order. The chicken mikhani now contains fewer chicken pieces, which are in strips rather than cubes, and there seems to be more sauce than before. The Rogan Josh sauce has also changed, as it is now watery instead of creamy."

"We tried the Saffron Patch for the first time today for lunch and we were blown away!!!! Authentic Indian food that is the best we?ve ever had!!!! It was absolutely delicious! I imagine the value of the food would be much better during their lunch buffet, but the quality of the meal I had was great and I left completely fulfilled. Their normal plates are sized to be shared but luckily I was hungry so I managed to eat the whole thing. Would totally come back but only during the lunch hour so I don't have to spend 28+ bucks with tip."

"While the quality of the food was good, it was overpriced. My husband and I had a check of $100 dollars without purchasing alcohol. This is the sort of establishment that doesn’t include rice in the cost of your entree, so it feels as though you are being milked as a patron. "I'm really sad to have to change my old 5 star review but we've been eating here for over two years and the last couple of orders have just basically been half of the usual portions, with tonight being the worst. The chicken wraps we received tonight were so tiny there was maybe 5 little chunks of chicken in there. It was mostly naan. Two of the wraps equaled one of the wraps we used to get a few months back. We're just really disappointed. We paid almost $30 and we're basically still hungry. ?"

"Love this place, the curries are great and the naans are really good. Good curries are hard to find in San Francisco! For the reviews about bad service our server was great but we did run dry on drinks. When our food came to the table it was pretty much thrown out and we had no idea what was what. BUT, it wasn't that bad and the food was amazing. We how're a group of 5 and we had curries, rice naan, apps, tandori platter, sides and beers and it was under $50 per head with tip."
