"this place is excellent, such an optically appealing bar restaurant. take the time to check the pictures on google, it is really a great place. the beer was cold and tasty, we already had lunch plans, so we didn't have the opportunity to taste the food. the host and the bartender were both amazing, so pleasant and friendly. it was not too busy, the bar had just opened and we were at the time just a handful of customers. the host and the bartender have spoiled us both in a wonderful talk about it, and all and nothing. talk deep, speak stupid, laugh too much! only a great time spent with the staff here, thank you for so good host. they are individual and colloidal huge assets at the bar. highly recommended to spend some time in ri ra irish pub. I wish we had more time to spend here, and we will definitely go back if we are in the opposite."

"My husband and I Went here after a concert for a night cap and this place is cool. It's dark and swanky and has a sort of an under ground prohibition vibe. "hubby and I are often customer in this restaurant, most seafood are fantastic and do not have a lingering fish taste or smell in the restaurant. the braised short rib pasta, black chicken pasta, ribeye, fishtacos and steamed edamame are delicious. each is not too salt or too blande, although, the fish taco, it can need a bit of seasonal or more fish meat. bartenders: becca, syd, regina and tim, they are amazing people and will make their experience as good as possible. they do their best to serve people as quickly as possible; only please understand that there are many people with short employees and can be too hectic, but it is not on them. Lib’s grill is a good place to chill and milk."

"Unfortunately, the food quality was down — the Brussels sprouts were under cooked, under seasoned, and missing the balsamic glaze. When we informed the waitress, she said that the kitchen could not get the glaze they use. My response was, “then they should make some.” Seriously, but some balsamic and boil it down. Weak response. We gone here numerous times over the years and it has been consistently good — until now, sadly."

"First visit to the Old Causeway last night. Arrived around 5:30pm and it was PACKED. The sign out front announced Happy Hour every day from 4-6 pm, so the crowd was understandable. Asked for a table for 4 and was told it would be around an hour and fifteen minute wait. Less than half that time later, we were seated, so I can't complain! Our server, Dawn, was super sweet and attentive. The food was top notch and the cocktail I ordered, Cherry Drop Martini, was luscious. Recommendations: BBQ Rib app, Andouille Sausage Grinder, and the Tri Tip Sandwich. Great all around spot. Can't wait to go back!"

"Do not, do not I repeat do not book an appointment for reservation at Charter House in Lake Charles. By far the worst dining service my wife and I have ever experienced. My wife and I ordered our complete meal appetizers and entrees. The appetizers never came my wife's food came first, my food came later and it was not what I ordered. The food was sent back, the food came back super late. We ask to see the manager the manager made zero effort to make it right. We just canceled the complete order. The manager never came back out never apologized. We just packed up and left. We would never ever book again and we would never recommend to everyone to ever book a dining experience there. Avoid it at all costs. We wound up eating at the waffle house and let me say the service and the food was far greater compared to this establishment"
