"When Cafe Rio is good, it is great. They have the capacity for excellent food that is in my opinion superior to similar fast casual Mexican restaurants. However, as I have come to this establishment over the years, I have seen an overall decline in experience. My most recent visit, I was extremely disappointed in the amount of meat that was given for my tacos. Truthfully, it was less than half of what it had been in the past. I realize that measuring out meat by a person trying to quickly move the line could prove difficult, but this was an extremely meager portion. This is not a one time experience either, I have noticed a distinct decline in portion size over the years. As the prices of the main dishes have increased, the standard allotted meat portion has decreased, it just gives a poor impression. In addition, they have implemented a policy where certain dishes don't come with sour cream, that is now extra. I understand Guacamole being extra, but being charged for a dollop of sour cream is ridiculous. I hope Cafe Rio can return to being more generous with their customers, I miss the meals I used to have there."
