"Able to make reservations for this past Friday evening. We had a wonderful experience. Great wine selection. Had the Raymond Reserve Cab.. yummy. Appetizer was Beef Carpaccio.. crusty bread had great flavor and the beef was light enough to not fill us up. Next our entrees. I had the steak special.. butchers cut.. the cap of the ribeye. Great marble on it and tender. Ordered medium rare and cooked perfectly! Needed nothing else..My husband had the venison.. again medium rare.. tender and not gamey."

"It was an icy cold mid January weekday so the restaurant was more available to cater to a big crowd. The food was great. The drinks were good. The staff waited until all 13 guests arrived to seat us together, chair to chair basically. Reservations are unfortunately not taken. It was my birthday and I was allowed to bring the birthday cake. Loved the entertainment and cheer of the atmosphere. Loved the birthday song sung to me by the staff with their adorable little drum and lighted red velvet cake with a big firecracker like candle. They handed out a little tiara which was an appreciated token. My friend has a lethal allergy to shrimp and it was taken cared of very well by the chef. He first cooked the rice, then vegetables, and meats, and seafood at the very end so there was no chance of cross contamination. I bought gift cards in advance and paid $490 including 18% tip for chef and server so you can eyeball a rough amount for your party. Sake is $5 each and soda is $3.50. It’s a great place to party and make memories. I hope you found my review helpful."

"A sorta hole in the wall type place. The portions are generous, food is served quickly and was really delicious. Warm and freshly cooked. Veggies were fresh and beef was good (wasnt stringy or cheap) tons of good flavor. Prices are really good. Ive been back since and was happy with it all once more. Would recommend for quick service meal in midtown."

"I was apprehensive about trying to eat here, as I have multiple food allergies. I was there with a group of 18 and not only was my meal fantastic, but the staff was on the ball! Everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful, the screened porch was fabulous and the food...well, I just cannot say enough about the Steelhead curry. It’s honestly the best curry I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to return!"

"My girlfriend is from Bay Ridge. Been here for dinner multiple times(awesome). This time came for brunch and it was definitely worthwhile. "We went to Bourbon Steak Los Angeles to have a combined celebration, i.e., Wedding Anniversary, Mother's Day, Birthday Father's Day. We have been to Bourbon Steak Los Angeles many times in the past our latest visit was no different. Overall, the experience was wonderful! Although, we do wish that some day a dish that we had many years ago would return, i.e., sous vide octopus. That was the only time that we ate octopus. It was delicious!"

"We arrived for our reservations yesterday at The location was very hard to find, it was inside a small shopping mall. When we were seated we ordered our drinks. We had to wait over minutes to even order our appetizers. Once we ordered our appetizer it did not come out until about an hour and a half after ordering which seems ridiculous. Once it hit the two hour mark of us waiting we asked our waiter to cancel our entrees and asked for our check. Our waitress came over and apologized and said they forgot to fire up our meal! Probably the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant. We left around with no meal. Would not recommend this place"

"Every step of the service was exceptional-from our hostess and her warm welcome, to our server and the manager taking our group photo as we walked out. The food was all delicious (especially the mushroom chardonnay soup). I was dining with old friends I hadn't seen for 45 years and it was a wonderful experience. "My husband and I spent his birthday here, and we were so glad we did. Everything was amazing! From the second we went up, a gentleman opened the door for us. We sat right away and our waitress (Emily) was a jewel. She dares a knowledge and so kind. The food, let's talk about the delicious food. I order the fried oysters for my appetizers and they were OMG amazing. My husband had the steamed shells and coconut yarns. Wowzers. Our ducks were just as good. "Most bizarre experience of my life. We ordered what I thought was there sharing menu for four people and waited two hours to get a plate of fish and then another half hour to get a plate of meat with no sides or accompaniments. Was shocked when I got the bill and I was charged $20 for a glass of Malbec and $20 for a shot of tequila. "Amazing end to end experience. I held my sister's birthday dinner here and making reservations (online) was such a breeze, it kind of shocked me. For food I ordered the truffle mushroom risotto and the garlic mash (I don't eat meat and didn't want fish) and loved both. They were flavored well and generously portioned. I also liked that the truffle flavor wasn't too overpowering in the risotto. For drinks I ordered the lemonana which was slushy in consistency and well balanced with the mint and tangy lemonade flavors. I also tasted the mojito b-day girl ordered and liked it as well. Plus the glasses are pretty hefty so that's a plus. My friend ordered the spinach and mushroom salad for the table and we loved the elegant combination of flavors and textures so much, she ordered another one. Same friend ordered the salmon main and enjoyed it. The portions looked generous as well and she ended up asking for a couple of dressings on the side to compliment her entrée. The birthday lady ordered the steakhouse burger and she loved it. She said the meat tasted like meat (as opposed to being smothered in a sauce or spice) and happily finished her leftovers throughout the week. That's how big the burger was. Plus it came with fries...how classy! We finished with the strawberry shortcake (huge slice) as we sung happy b-day and devoured the creamy fresh tasting frosting and moist and fluffy cake. I love that they play actual music (not suss jazzy noise) and the warm colored décor upstairs made it feel like a proper steakhouse. The service was A-1...from the sir who answered the phone for the numerous times I called to make sure everything was perfect, to the hostess, the waiters, the owner! Everyone was so amazing to us and made my sister's birthday super special."
