"My partner and I decided on Lux Steakhouse for our monthly date night. I need a redo of the evening. Restaurant was very busy, with lots of people dining before a concert at Roger’s. We started by waiting for a good 10 minutes before we...were asked for our drink order, we decided to order our main course at the same time as it seemed the waitress was busy, yet she was very pleasant. We ordered the ribeye with two sides each. Food came out about 30 minutes later, my steak was good, a little more rare than medium I asked for but tasty, I had the roast Brussel sprouts and fries, which were tasty also. My partner’s steak was all fat and most was wasted, he said he bbq’s a better steak at home. The restaurant was busy, they need a vestibule at the front so the cold air doesn’t rush into the restaurant with the constant people streaming in and out, and I would recommend a constant check of the washrooms by staff...the men’s room was a mess and had a strong urine smell. For $250, I expected more from Lux. Won’t be back unfortunately."

"Chef Tara’s pizzas are amazing using the same organic ingredients and house made nut cheeses as her restaurant next door. That crust! Perfect thickness and chewiness. Red and white pizza options. "Delicious food! We had the tuna tartar, hummus, warm halloumi, and burrata for apps, and the shwarma, meme couscous, and salmon for dinner. My favorites were the tuna tartar and shwarma. Service was great as well! We did not sit outside as it was raining but the outdoor area looked very nice as well (it was covered). Highly recommend if you are in the area! Reservation recommended."

"The dish I chose said it came with broccolini, which is one of my favorites and I was really looking forward to it. What I got instead was three very tiny broccoli florettes. And for $28, I should’ve received one I ordered. The waiter never came back to check to see how our meal was and it wasn’t busy. At. All. In fact, there was hardly anybody in the restaurant. My friend had a steak which was fabulous. Cocktails were so-so. I would only go back for the view if I have visitors from out of town."

"Lasagna was awesome. I've never had a better salad than I did with the fried chicken salad. My husband got the deep dish pecan pie. I don't like pecan pie much but when he had me try it, it was great. The key lime pie with its little extras on top was amazing. To top off the night the server, who was so nice, gave us a cotton candy in celebration of our honeymoon. It was a great experience and I encourage anyone to try it."

"We have been longtime fans of Anamia's and visited them last Thursday. The food was fantastic; however, we had a less than ideal experience on the patio. The music was overly loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. It took multiple requests before the volume was lowered. Additionally, a group of mothers allowed their children to run wild on the patio while they drank margaritas and dined. Despite our polite request for the children to be seated, the mothers refused and were quite rude. It was disappointing to see children being allowed to disrupt other diners. As parents ourselves, we believe in teaching children how to behave in public places. We hope these children eventually learn how to treat others with respect."

"This place was a last minute reservation. We are new to the Hilton Head area so we explore new restaurants and Hilton Head has many first-class restaurants. This is a beautiful elegant, white table cloth with candles type of restaurant. You have live piano music and you are literally and completely surrounded by racks on racks of fabulous wines! The atmosphere in this restaurant is low-lighted and warm with lots of wood and works of art. It has almost a light polynesian feeling. The menu is simple, but great! Everything was fabulous. Our waitress Betsy was extremely thorough and ambitious. I recommend this place when you feel like an elegant dinner inside or even outside. You can have an elegant white tablecloth inside or outside under Twinkle lights under the oaks. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti. How do you mess up something simple like salsa? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"

"After checking online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious.
