"more people should talk about the fantastic fish chips (small fish with a horny crust and delicious dillfries) here some of the best I had in seattle. oysters are a great deal on happy hour, and the poutins of the sea met all the right notes easily, pfeffer chowder, tasteful mushes and crispy pommes. beautiful beer, wine and cocktail selections. fantastic, relaxed environment with views of the marina. hard to go wrong here. they are (of course) busy during the terrace weather, but we were quickly served and supervised. that could be a habit."

"First time here since the new owner took over. Had lunch. Prices are very high for what you get. for a crab Louie with maybe tablespoons of crab, tons of lettuce, egg very small slices of avocado. for a tuna sandwich with a measly amount of great fries. for an ice tea. Service was efficient and attentive but drab and no personality. I would pay for the crab Louie if it had maybe oz of crab. Plus the lunch menu was very small. I don’t know if I’ll go back. Jason’s used to be one of my go to restaurants. Used to love it. Not so much now. Maybe I’ll try dinner sometime in the distant future. But we’ll see. Very sad"

"I had booked this reservation nearly two months ago. The Silver Legacy was doing some renovations on their restaurants. When we got to the Pearl Oyster Bar, we found they were on a limited menu because the kitchen they used was closed for the reno. We ended up having a tuna sandwich that was a far cry from the reason I had chosen the restaurant to begin with. There should have been a way to be notified before we went, especially after being on the road for 5 hours."

"The service was very attentive and kind, however the food was horrible. I had the Calamari for starters and Fettuccine Alfredo for the main course. The food tasted as if it all came from a deep freezer. NO FLAVOR whatsoever. I had to ask for salt and pepper just to be able to force it down my throat. Not only that, it was all platted on paper plates, for a roughly 60 dollar meal. It could have been expired and microwaved Olive Garden and it would have still tasted better than this. This was the worst food I have ever eaten at in a restaurant in my life. Lesson learned: poximity to the water does not equate to a fresh catch. I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL OPEN! DON'T GO."

"My daughter to Rosie McCanns for dinner while we shop. She ordered Färger and Maische, who was really delicious. I ordered sliders and pommes that were also amazing. The service was a little slow. The actual disadvantage was the volume. Several games were up and though we sat in the back room without TVs in sight, the speakers played sports and really loud advertising. It was hard to talk. I'd come back, but only after I checked what the games are."

"The hostess graciously extended the Happy Hour prices for the duration of our stay, and the combination of affordability and flavor was impressive! The standard oysters were priced at just $1.75 each, while the Virginicas were around $2. What really caught my eye were the prices and variety of other items available during Happy Hour. The service was attentive, especially considering we were a group of 20 seated in the bar area, and they accommodated our requests for separate checks. I truly appreciated their effort to ensure that we had a great experience. In today’s challenging economy, it’s refreshing to receive excellent service to accompany the bill. My total for the evening, including a glass of beer, was under $24, and I left feeling full and satisfied. Additionally, when I accidentally spilled my beer after just one sip, the server promptly replaced it at no cost. They also offered unlimited fresh bread, which was a nice touch. Overall, my experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend giving Ocean Avenue a try!"

"Although I had a reservation, the server (which also took us place) was not disturbed to take my name, so had no idea of “special requests”. She was friendly, but distracted and got some parts of our two orders wrong. Have the shrimp jambalaya, instead of Snapper, which she returned to the kitchen and wait an additional 15 minutes. I didn't get the Yukon potatoes. My sister didn't get an avocado on her hamburger. Stale, hard bread was served when we sat. Cocktails were “so-so”, certainly not worth $13 everyone. And even though I refused a second cocktail, the server brought him. Eating was good, atmosphere was relaxing. BUT... that wasn't a $145 meal, definitely, and I left a $20 tip, but hesitant. I've eaten here, always good service, but that was an extremely disappointing occasion."

"Went in for the view, and while we waited we got a few good pics. One star because we waited for 15 minutes without being greeted, although at least 2 waiters were sitting at an empty table rolling napkins and 2 hosts walked by us. Finally a gentleman walked past us saying I will be right with you he never came back. Eventually a different gentleman seated us and then left. We waited another 15 minutes before just walking out. No one came to our table in that time, not even for a drink order. The restaraunt was not busy at all. The only good thing about this experience was leaving so we could stumble upon the most amazing place to eat just down the road. Terrible, terrible, terrible. :"

"The definition of a hole-in-the-wall, but perhaps the best breakfast restaurant in Charlotte. Definitely lives up to his name. The service is impeccable. The waitresses are so beautiful and ready to make any desired accommodation. I add, the menu is not extensive (all), but what they offer is cooked to perfection. Worth the ride. A warning: bring money for tips. For some reason, they removed the tip line from their debit/credit card receptions. Had to go to a nearby ATM to get money. This was accompanied by the mandatory $2.95 fee. Anyway, please check this place. They won't be disappointed. Yum!"
