"The service was very attentive and kind, however the food was horrible. I had the Calamari for starters and Fettuccine Alfredo for the main course. The food tasted as if it all came from a deep freezer. NO FLAVOR whatsoever. I had to ask for salt and pepper just to be able to force it down my throat. Not only that, it was all platted on paper plates, for a roughly 60 dollar meal. It could have been expired and microwaved Olive Garden and it would have still tasted better than this. This was the worst food I have ever eaten at in a restaurant in my life. Lesson learned: poximity to the water does not equate to a fresh catch. I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL OPEN! DON'T GO."

Not bad. The seafood was very fresh and the staff are very friendly. Clam Chowder is better than many places. The restaurant is very old and not so clean.

Best clam chowder in San Francisco, come for the food stay for the service, always ask for Luis, he is the best, he will greet you like can old friend you see after a while!! The ambience of the restaurant is incredible, like a really old pier restaurant! Love the place and the the food is to die for!

I am so sad to say this, because the service was 5 star. Super friendly and very attentive. But the food had no flavor. The clam chowder was ok. The fish and chips were good. The Lobster sandwich that's $29, when you can get it on the strip for $17 had no flavor. We almost walked out when we saw the price. I convinced my friends to stay. Thinking it would be the best. It turned out to be the worst.
