"I often command from here. I am very picky when it comes to fish, but the fish here is always fresh and tasty. The salmon is freshly filled and baked. The sole is freshly baked and fried. The shrimp salad is made with cut large shrimps not tiny from a can. The tuna plate is very considerable. Cheesecake is always delicious. The people who deliver are always fast and friendly. "I love eateries like this: non fussy restaurants with fantastic food and great staff. We stopped here for a late breakfast while in the area and were impressed with both the food and our server. My husband and I both ordered the Avocado Eggs Benedict and loved them! The portions are really big but the food's delicious. I was able to swap the Canadian bacon for turkey sausage, and their freshly squeezed orange juice is really good. Friendly, accommodating service. This place appears to be a popular eating joint for both locals and tourists alike."

"This is my favorite diver within an hour. Always great service. Great atmosphere. Great chicken soup fries every time. Eating in general is really good, and the waiting staff was really nice to my Dormer Marine cousin. As a healthy mature young man of 23 years he was made to feel like the chosen child. He got a flexible straw and a cookie (thanks to the waitress who played with his Shenanigans! and he rubbed it in our faces for 3 days."

"It’s like I want to give them 5 stars for their effort and it’s really hard to find a 24/7 place that even has vegan options... but literally almost all vegan options that they have are tofu-based. And it’s not even cooked well or seasoned. If they put as much creativity and effort into their vegan corner as in 98% animal products based massive menu, they could’ve made so many delicious options for vegans.. like tofu is not the only thing we eat. Their vegan menu pretty much represents the common idea among omnivores that vegan diet is plain, super limited and boring, when it couldn’t have been any further from the truth. All it takes is a little research."

"You get honestly what you paid for when you come here. Food isn't the best, but it's not the worst. I personally didn't like her steak and eggs. The court lacked in taste, but for it with the Challah French toast. Don't see me coming back here in the foreseeable future. "I would give this place less stars if I could, unfortunately we were very disappointed with the quality of food here. We ordered bottled waters with lemon, and the lemons smelled of some cleaning substance. We still gave them a try after this. We proceeded to order a chicken sandwich with onion rings, a mozzarella burger with waffle fries and popcorn chicken as an appetizer. The chicken was anything short of popcorn and half the chicken was unseasoned and unbreaded. Theythen gave us a plate with was supposed to be coleslaws and pickles. Just see the picture and it speaks for itself. The manager is clueless as to them having all these options on the menu and the food quality is trash. If they were tonarrow their menu down to a couple options, they?d be able to send out quality food dishes."

"If there are places that I want to dine in for soup in the winter this would be one of those places. It's in close proximity to bus and subway lines making it easy to get here during a polar vortex or snowstorm. The split pea soup with croutons was delicious and filling. "This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were intrigued by the beautiful view from the dining room that we saw online. We both ordered the Crab cakes and wedge salad. "Love. As a home of Dublin for my whole life, I have enjoyed Hellas for over 10 years and my parents even longer. The food is worth it. It has always been cramped in the room and was always busy. For the cities that come daily this is normal and it will never shift us. I could see how someone wouldn't enjoy this place. The owner is great. When he reads older post, he probably didn't come to the table that complained because he was probably back in the kitchen cooking because it was busy! I would be that it was the waiter mistake not to enter your order and check if he noticed that other tables get food and not you. Very unprofessional for a waiter to say these things about the owner anyway. Ask someone from Dublin where they would go to breakfast and 9 times from 10 it will be Hellas. This restaurant is not made for a chain because trust me that they make enough money to make a chain. This is for his friends and family to enjoy good Greek cuisine, that's all. If you don't want the trouble to come, but trust me when I say the food is worth it."

"In all the years going to Pelham to visit my Father in law, I never knew this diner existed. I went with my brother in law and I have to say the menu is amazing. I had a steak burger with grilled onions and it was out of this world ! I was barely able tofinish it. The wait staff are extremely friendly and checked on us from time to time making sure we were OK with our meal. Veryrelaxed atmosphere and lived the layout. I highly recommend this place and will drive the hour down to visit this place again."

"Made reservations for my best friend's birthday, we sat in the courtyard which was nice and quiet. It was a Sunday evening and they weren't busy, however, the service was very slow. Although the taste and presentation of the food were alright, nothing special, the portion sizes were very small. We had to keep placing orders because it just wasn't enough and the waitress wasn't the most helpful in guiding us towards better options. Even the entree plates were very small. There were 3 of us and the bill was very high for what we received, and we all still left hungry. We were all looking forward to the dinner, somewhat disappointing."
