"A great pub on the lake at Brightwater so clean an bright with a great atmosphere. Good deck bistro and kids room very kid friendly. Staff are so attentive and friendly. Fantastic selection for drinks. Seniors and kids menu and lunch menu $15.. you might think only 4 stars after saying such good things but I had the panko crumbed fish and chips and it was awful. Dry frozen fillets with average chips and a rocket salad. Other meals that came out from the kitchen looked good but I couldn’t even eat mine. John loved his meal I have maybe just ordered the wrong thing but when it said panko fillets I thought they may have been fresh"

"My husband and I went to an early dinner at McWethy's. We arrived today (Friday at 4:30 pm) and sat immediately. (It is super busy later so that reservations are recommended. The view of the golf course is beautiful, even in winter! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. He recommended we start with his blueberry Mojito, which we did and it was delicious. We started with the shrimp bisque (the soup of the day so tasteful, with at least four full shrimps in the cup. My hubs had the New York stripes (medium and I chose the Faroe Islands salmon. The stripe was a teeny gum, in my opinion, but very tasty. The potatoes and the corn side with the stripe were also very good (can you say we share? . The corn side had a nice zipper. My salmon was moist and delicate, and the Farro was well seasoned, with a beautiful chewing and very good. We saved half of our ducks to go home because we ordered a peanut butter IPA cake. It was delicately flavored, not strong on the peanut butter, but slightly rich and tasty. It was a great end to our meal. I ate food from McWethy's (all pick up, and that was Naben's first experience. We enjoyed the restaurant food, service and ambience very much. We will definitely return!"

"fantastic spinach-creb-dip. had to ask for drinking refills and where the Halibut-tacos were. she said the kitchen had just furnished her. that was a lie. she came with cold Halibut tactics, and gumy tortillas. then I told her they were cold and I didn't want her, and she took it out of the bill. she gave me the bill and I put my credit card on the tablet and she said she was right back to get it. I saw her do several other things when I waited to go for a walk (it was 8:00 o'clock . bummer that happened."

"I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while, but I enjoyed the food! We ordered the two pick three shrimp for $22, which included shrimp scampi and coconut shrimp, as well as the pick two dragon shrimp for $18 (mildly spicy, sweet and sour battered fried shrimp and shrimp scampi, seafood stuffed mushrooms, and chowder). The coconut shrimp was very good and the stuffed mushrooms were well-prepared and tasty. The chowder and biscuits were also delicious, although the biscuits were a bit crumbly. We took advantage of the $5 drink special, which offered a limited choice of wine, Blue Moon beer, or a margarita-like cocktail. We called ahead to inquire about the wait time on an early Saturday evening and were told it was 15 minutes, so we put our name on the list, even though we were 45 minutes away. We were seated shortly after arriving, although it was a bit odd that we were placed in the back section, especially since my elderly mother was with us. The service was a bit mixed, with our server being a young lady who brought our food out in a somewhat disjointed manner. We had to ask for a straw for my mother's lemonade and for the biscuits multiple times. Packing up our leftovers was a bit challenging due to the crowded table. When it came time to pay the bill, the server seemed impatient, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Despite these issues, we appreciated that the tip was calculated on the total including taxes. We left a $21 tip on a $120 bill and would consider returning for the food, hoping for better service next time. Parking at the large Lincoln Square mall lot was difficult on a Saturday night, but we were thankful for our handicap permit."

"I used to go here on occasion but the last 2 times I 've traveled 1-1/2 hrs to get there it 's been CLOSED!! There 's sign on the door that says it 's temporarily closed but no explanation as to why. The second time I went (which was today 7/13) it was again closed. The friend I went with called a couple of days before to find out if it was open and the answering machine said they were open Wed thru Sun from 10 till 8pm. He even left a message asking them to call him so we could find out if the were REALLY open and of course no one called him back. Nothing about them being closed?? This really pisses me off! Why don 't they SAY they 're closed instead of having people go there under the impression they are open and find out they 're NOT!"

"I love this place! Our host was a great young gentlemen who was very friendly and helpful. He is very friendly, energetic and eager to let you sit quickly. He was very excited. It was a good way to start dinner and I think it says a lot about the service. The beer selection is great, I recommend the bright ale or Oktoberfest. The service and the food were amazing. I died here a few times and it's never disappointed. The waiting staff has hand-held ordering systems so that we were able to place our beverage and food order and our drinks came out very quickly. It's great!"

"As former Kelly reigns my husband and I were not sure to try this place.... We were pleasantly surprised. We stopped for dinner and from the moment we were inaugurated. The owner was beautiful when she sat us personally and when we shared that we were Kelly fans, she honored the love of history. "the atmosphere has changed dramatically since the last time. server seemed hastened, not almost as friendly as we are accustomed. and at the end of our night our whole party of 10 was left, but we were 2. we sat chatting and our server came and began to break our table, take off our contingent and began to wipe off the 2 tables we no longer use, and move them back to their usual spots. obviously we made ourselves feel like we were pushed out of the door. it warns that late in the evening (about 9 o'clock) and the restaurant warns busy so it wasn't that the table was needed for people who had to wait. more than the server wanted us to be gone so she's ready to go home."

"Good, but not as good as it used to be. There's nothing wrong with the food in fact it's always tasty, but the overall experience just not quite worth the money. One of the main reason for losing one star is the wine. Heirloom features a long but uninspired wine list of mostly $65-$85 bottles of primarily California/new world style reds. This makes it hard to me to find pairings; Couple this with the higher than usual mark up, the bill at the end of the meal made me wonder if I should not have picked Holly Hill. I do like the small plate menu they have implemented."

"The price fixe is a real deal Sunday through Thursday 24.95 includes a glass of wine with soup or salad. The meal choices are really nice. We enjoyed the pork chops and shrimp and grits. My pork was cooked perfect with many great flavors on the plate. The sweet potato mash and Brussels sprout chopped veggie was superb. Hubby really enjoyed his shrimp and grits. "What a cool and wonderful experience! our wait staff Jazmyn was super friendly, and made sure we had drinks, water, checking several times. We had a mix up with the apps and she came and apologized and they got there pretty quick. The food was amazing well done burger cooked perfectly not burned lots of flavor! The portebello fries were the best I've had perfectly seasoned and crisp batter the mushroom was cooked perfectly no soggy at all between the batter and the mushroom. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and you can taste the cheeses so creamy . The fries were perfectly cooked as well, crisp and seasoned to perfection! we ordered pb and j burger with fries jalapeno jam burger with Mac and cheese portebello fries Thanks for the great service a lovely place you all have!"

"food 5/5 ; prices 4/5 ; portions 5/5 ; service 5/5 ; operation 5/5 the food is great and the garlic paste is the best. you can see the bread cooking fresh and the eating is really well cooked. but they might want to give them some heads if they have more people. the prices are standard, of how $8 $20 for large portion meals. a chicken shawarma plate can feed 2 3 people that is great. the children's dishes are very well portioned, but still a little big, but I think that's okay. the service is fantastic. they are super nice and friendly and really want to meet them. they really want to take care of you like family. one of the workers even became a good friend of mine after he met on a hot day. for the facility I was only after 12 and it is usually (or always) quiet. it has a calmer atmosphere and everyone seems relaxed and not stressed. I've never had a problem here. they take care of their customers and make them feel like home. they never forget their order and treat them the highest respect."

"we went to stack pickle for a Christmas dinner with the family of my mannes. eating was delicious the best philly steak sandwich I ever had. my mother-in-law said the same thing with the grill sandwich. the waitress has waited a phenomenal job on a table of 19. we never had to wait for something. the only little complain I had was that the music was a little loud. Apart from that, this was a great experience that we will definitely return."
