"The woman and the kids took lunch yesterday. We came to a packed house at 1230. We sat at the last table and the waitress greeted us and took our drink order. Children ordered root beer and chocolate milk. The chocolate milk was very chocolate, which was great. Wife and I had ginger ale served in a cool mason glass. Our waitress returned some moments later with our beverage order and took our food order. The guys ordered both Cheeseburgers. I ordered the fish and chips and the woman had the BLT packaging. The time to get our food was average when considering what we ordered and how busy the restaurant was. It was worth waiting. My fish share was huge. The fish was beautiful and crispy on the outside and moist and flocky on the inside. It was accompanied by a nice help from seasoned Curleyries and a beautiful homemade Coleslaw that was beautifully dressed with just a touch of Viniger that I thought was perfect. The boys had ordered cheeseburgers. The burgers were hand-shaped and very large, probably one inch thick and completely covered the bungalow. They were ordered, boiled medium, and the chef has tasted it. The burgers also came with a nice help from handcuffs. The BLT turkey pack of the woman was very fresh and had again a huge amount of turkey. It came with chips and a pimple. Everything about our lunch was really great. If you are looking for great food at a reasonable price in Lenox, do not see more than the Old Heritage Tavern."

"First off my father and I arrived 30 minutes before closing. Waited about 3-5 minutes to be sat (not mad about it at all I mean come on we showed up 30 minutes before closing people are busy and trying to get home. I get it). The music in the restaurant was at the perfect volume for the amount of people in the area (some places it's too loud when there's no one there and too quiet when there's a lot) Once seated we pretty much knew what we wanted right away. They don't have appetizers we like so we skipped that. Got our fried shrimp and double fries. Hot fresh tasted amazing. Only complaint is there's not a lot of shrimp on the place. They are bigger shrimp but for basically $20 there could be a couple more pieces which is why I didn't give a full 5 stars. Now on to the service: FUCKING (I hope I can use that word on this app) AMAZING!!!!! Austin was the absolute sweetest guy I've ever had as a waiter. Super attentive, friendly, caring, and DID NOT make us feel rushed at all during our service despite how late it was. Mine nor my fathers drink was never fully empty before receiving a fresh one, made sure we had everything we needed before the food arrived, and checked on us often all while taking other tables, cleaning, restocking, and I think he was even helping in the back. Super sweet heart and great waiter!! My dad and I will definitely be back and hopefully have him again."

"So i went to the quarry in barre tonight for dinner i will tell u i had chicken marsala and i was not impressed at all i dont think i will go back there again the chicken was tough and no taste at all it was blan it was like just 2 pieces of chicken mushrooms and linguine soaking in broth it was not good at all in my opinion and the waiter comes over and says is everything ok and i was like no he says ya they made the sauce a little creamy today i said creamy alls it is is broth didnt even take anything off the bill since i really didnt eat very much cause of how bad it was"

"Probably my personal favorite probably go 3 times year the last 10 years the food is amazing. I honestly don't don't know how to describe the place. It's clean the staff is always great most of the seats are at a winding bar with a couple tables it puts you in mind of a local restaurant that would be on the ocean in a cool little town not an upscale atmosphere at all. The food on the other hand could be served at any 5 star location in the world and everyone would leave with a grin. If you haven't been your missing out put on your jeans tee shirt and a baseball hat and go eat like like a fortune 500 business executive that just hit the lottery it's that good."

"Great food, impeccable service, fun atmosphere. Service is already great. They have a hilariously great tea selection as well. Dessert is a must have- the creme Brulee is divine as is the chocolate cake. Docking a point as the starters were a little weak... the octopus was a small dish, slightly overcooked. The Caesar salad has great flavor but lack variety, and the charcuterie board was incredibly basic. Drink menu is festive and tastey. Drinks are strong! Mains are far better."

"One of the top restaurants on City Island! The seafood is exceptional and the garlic bread is amazing. Location: Situated on City Island with ample seating indoors and outdoors. I prefer outdoor seating by the water. There is a large parking lot. Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and offers great recommendations. Food: The food is consistently excellent! The free garlic bread is a must-try and you can ask for more. The BBQ Feast is a generous meal for two, but can easily feed four people. The BBQ ribs, chicken, and fried shrimp were cooked perfectly. The lobster is large with plenty of meat. The Lobster House and Lobster Feast option is my favorite, including two big lobsters, rice, shrimp, crab, and corn. The Shrimp and Lobster Alfredo over linguine is a must-try with perfectly cooked pasta and large shrimp and lobster. The Tartufo dessert is a simple ice cream covered in chocolate. Price rating: 7/10. The prices are reasonable for the quality of seafood and Italian pasta. I will definitely return when craving seafood and pasta."

"I will alway stop at an Irish Pub and restaurant, hard to find British faire. Stopped by with the family after some hiking and was impressed. Front door was open to bring in cool air, the smell from the kitchen was in the air and beer/wine glasses were heard. Very good food, staff were friendly as can be, and very tolerant of our kids who were beyond hungry."

"This was my first time going here and i will definitely be returning. The food and drinks were amazing. The only thing i didn't like were the tuna wontons but that's because I apparently don't like tuna like that, however my boyfriend did. First time having blistered brussels sprouts and those alone are worth the trip and that's not even getting to the main course or dessert. The steaks were cooked to mouth watering perfection!! The desserts were perfect ending to an amazing dinner with my handsome date! This is a very nice, calm restaurant. Perfect place for a nice date! You should definitely go! Date night, family night, friends evening out, etc."

"This place has really good food and the people that work there are always supper friendly and wonderful to visit. The value for what you pay and what you get is really good. You get a lot of food, and it's good quality and well prepared. The Dolmades (Grape leaves stuffed with rice and ground meat) is an appetizer that's a favorite to get. They have really good humus and pita bread too. The stuffed bell peppers are always good to have for dinner. They have a nice selections of cakes to choose from, all very nicely decorated, and taste just as good too."

"A friend, who 's wife is from The Big Easy, spoke a few months back of a place up north that had food worthy of her hometown. As luck would have it we were finally in the area and decided to give it a try. It was mid afternoon and they were not busy so we were seated right away. The vibe of the place is hard to explain.. Awesome does the trick. The bar area is incredible with a selection of drinks you don 't see many places (Pappy! not to mention countless home-brew blends of vodka and tequila. After checking the place out a bit Levi came to say hi, took our ordered and gave such a great explanation of the Bacon Popcorn that we had to try it. (You should too . Popcorn, fried in bacon grease, seasoned and with chips of bacon mixed in. OMG if they served such a thing at the movies. I had a Po-Boy, Gumbo for my daughter and fish and chips for the wife. It was all incredible. . My only wish is there had been a little more sausage in my sandwich, but the soft bread (and my own side of gumbo made up for it. They have this great private room you can reserve for larger parties and if this place wasn 't 55 minutes from my house it would be my go to not only for dinner, but also taking out of town guests. Truly a best of Tucson here."

"During wing night, we ordered a veggie plate and two soft drinks. Despite arriving before other customers, our order was forgotten by the waitress. When our food finally arrived, it was decent, but we never received the extra napkins or dip we had requested. The waitress acknowledged her mistake and promised to make it right on the bill, but we never received any compensation or apology. Overall, we have found 'Pour' to be inconsistent, with either poor food, service, or both. We have had only one enjoyable experience at this restaurant, which is conveniently located within walking distance. However, we are fed up with the ongoing issues and lack of improvement. It is imperative for 'Pour' to step up their game, as our experience is not unique and negative reviews are accumulating."

"I made the mistake of leaving my card there overnight as I forgot it somehow. Called that night and they told me I could pick it up when they opened on Sunday. Went in when they opened and they couldn't find it and told me to come back at 3 when the bartender from last night comes back in. So I waited around in the area as I live 45 minutes away. When I get there the bartender tells me to wait until 4 so the guy can open the safe as he was running late. The guy comes and tells me they do not have my card despite what they had said over the phone and for me to cancel my card. Moral of the story is that River outpost does not care for their customers in my opinion. A bit ridiculous that they wasted my entire day but I should have known better to give them the benefit of the doubt. All they had to do was tell me the truth that they lost my card and could have saved me so much time. Very disappointed as I do like the place. No manager came to reassure me or try to make it up to me the entire time I was there, whole situation was a bit ridiculous, such a shame."

"Now and then a restaurant really amazes you how good they are and Hellbender is one of the places. The place is in a renovated, large house with a lot of character, so it is a charming and picturesque restaurant (that feels smaller than it is). There are seating in all different rooms, some larger than others, and a real bar near the front (with lots of local beers on tap. Note that within it can be quite quickly loud, but this is part of the charm, and not to freeze there is a lot of outdoor seats to enjoy the pleasant North Carolina weather. You can order from the table either by phone, so take your time to browse the menu, or from each of the many waiters. The service and the food were fast and delicious. We started with their unique chili (Chickpeas maybe added? , which was rich in aromas, mostly smokey, with a little sweet and creamy. My wife and I then split the beef-talloin sandwich with sweet peppers, well-kept onions (additionally as the compliment very well, mushrooms, salad, aioli and provolone cheese, which was just as scary as it was good. Hellbender is just out of the main strip, and a must-go-to while in Blowing Rock. Jan 2022"

"The service at this restaurant was appalling. We had a large group celebrating three birthdays, and guests had to go to the bar themselves to get drinks, napkins, utensils, and plates. Guests even had to bus their own tables by stacking their own dishes. The food itself was decent, but the overall experience was marred by the poor service."
