"We were there on Friday night. It was my first time and I had chicken pancakes and it was the best I ever had! I'm just here to visit, but if I lived here, I'd be a weekly guest. The whole experience was five stars and I will be back! The staff was very friendly and made sure we didn't want anything. The owner even came to visit and made sure that we were happy and gave everyone to our table cups! Thank you."

"I ordered a pizza with no cheese as my GF is allergic, the awesome lady who took my order made sure to tell pizza maker..being an idiot like I am when I opened the box I thought it had cheese. I brought it back and she for third time checked and assured me no cheese and wasnt annoyed at all..just cared about the order....She also went out of her way to come to the lot as I was leaving to give me the insane pizza sauce I forgot.. 1000 out of 100 service and food"

"I feel bias in rating the Park Lunch. I grew up in the neighborhood and will always consider it my go to Hidden Gem even though I don't live here anymore but still within eating distance. I've been to ALOT of places in town but I'd only do a review for THE BEST!! Comfort food at it's best and hands down....the BEST Fried Shrimp....Scallops and ALL time favorite......Fried Clam plate. The portions are almost down right crazy for the dollar and the quality is off the boat fresh. What you see in that picture is not just for show....that's the real deal! If I had a last meal request......this would be mine! Ownership and staff WILL become your instant friends. :"

"Just wasted almost $100. The food was so bad we feel sick to our stomachs after eating here. The waitress was NON EXISTENT. We saw her 2 or 3 times only, I literally had to go inside up to the bar and ask for our server to come. There’s so many flies outside some got into our food, which they replaced. But after eating the Tuesday fajitas special we felt SO sick. The chicken was burnt so was a few veggies. 15 minutes after we arrived a large group of 12 arrived next to us, and ALL the attention was on them. It’s like we were invisible. Absolutely ruined our night, we feel disgusted, sick, disrespected, and extremely let down given this was our FIRST visit ever! The ambiance was nice atleast. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible experience, they just focused on the larger group and forgot about us :"

"Shells is a good example of high quality fresh seafood made in a casual environment. There is a dining room and a bar side, with some outside seats as well. It looks from the outside. Our group stayed for dinner after spending some time on the beach. We didn't feel in our beach clothes. I ordered the fried trio (Shrimp, Scallops and Whitefish) it came with Fritten and Mandarin Schwieger. We also ordered a dozen ro homes. The oysters really meet fresh and delicious with a side of horseradish, cocktail sauce, lemon and crackers. I tried some crab cakes and they were full of taste and crab meat. The cost against the portion size is excellent. We were surprised how much food we were given. Shells is a very casual business with a simple menu that seems to be a local meeting place."

"We have been ordering delivery pizza from here for a few years.. we are truck drivers and stop at the Frazier Flying J occasionally when driving through.. the food has been great every time.. today, at 230 pm, we pulled in as usual and promptly ordered our food.. explained over the phone that we were at the truck stop and to call when they got here and we would connect, like any other food delivery.. today, we get the call we were expecting and this time we are told that the driver feels unsafe delivering to our truck, that she will LEAVE our order at the gas station for us pick up.. mind you the building is a good 200 yards away.. I told her not to leave $60 of food I ordered, she told me she would need to call her manager and hung up on me.. when my husband got to the building to get our food, he was met with a young lady with a bad attitude, very sarcastic and dismissive.. I called the store and explained my frustration... the owner called me back and explained to me that she allows the driver's to choose weather or not they want to deliver my pizza to me.. so, in short, the food is good, but dont expect a delivery if you are a truck driver.."

"We arrived right at 11:30 when they opened. The restaurant was prepped, the servers were in their uniforms, and I didn’t see a single server on their phones. Very professional. The waitress was very pleasant and formal. They gave us the price of the specials when they said them, which was nice to know. My parents both had the fish and chips special. “It was amazing! The best haddock I’ve ever had with fish and chips!” The fish was super nice and flaky, and the breading was thin and crispy so you could taste the fish through the breading (not a fishy taste though, good fish taste). The breading wasn’t soaking in oil, and didn’t feel greasy to the touch. The fries were also nice and crispy, although there was one ice cold fry on my mother’s plate which was surprising. The rest of them were scalding hot and fresh from the fryer though, so the cold fry was acceptable haha. I had the mac and cheese, plain, with the breadcrumbs on top. The menu only lists vegetable, chicken, or one other mac and cheese option, but the waitress informed me that I could have it without. It was great, there wasn’t quite enough of the cheese but I’m just being picky. It was delicious and filling."

"First time going to Rockwood. Very elegant sports bar. Tvs from any angle so you won't miss the game no matter where you are sitting. However at the same time the atmosphere is very elegant for a fantastic dining experience. We had dinner with the family and the food was excellent the restaurant was fairly busy so it was loud but it's a sports bar so you will get that sometimes. My only complaint was our server was not very attentive and would disappear quite often. When she was at the table she very often left before we could finish ordering something. Then when i actually got up from the table to tell her what we were trying to order she would have disappeared and I'd have to stop another server to order something. Overall we had a great time and the food was excellent! Most of the staff was very helpful. I would recommend!"

"Hand made potato chips put on your table when you sit are delicious they happily provide a refill. Seafood is fresh and very good. The grilled chicken sandwich is very good EXCEPT it is overly peppered making it difficult to eat. The children's chicken and fries has a very thick battered coating and a lot of rosemary and pepper; our child wouldn't eat it. Children tend to have bland palates so I suggest the children's orders not be overly seasoned or battered. The new England clam chowder was excellent."

"Baked oysters here are soooo good. We got the garlic butter ones and they are just piping hot, juicy, and packed with flavor. Will be coming back for these specifically. 6/$15 or 12/$25 Raw oysters.. they had Miyagis and Shigokus only at the restaurant.. not my favorite oysters. Miyagis always taste bland for me. Wish they had other options! Fish tacos are beer battered with a tropical salsa. This was good. Pineapples in the salsa make all the difference. Wish there was more sauce tho. Crab cakes were okay. They?re a bit too goopy for my taste. Probably a bit overcooked too. But the salad is great nice ginger scallion type salad dressing. Good environment. The clam chowder is excellent. Will be back for baked oysters. Wish they sold crab in the whole at the dining area, but that?s okay. Gonna get some at the market next door. We sat outside. Space is small. So expect a wait!"

I own a private tattoo studio in the opposite and probably at least once a week. as a vegan I find it difficult to eat locally, bar a few places, and hearty eats tops, the list. fresh tasteful food carefully prepared and it shows. the spicing of their entrees is subtle and natural tasting, not too sour or salty, only beautiful earthy aromas. 9/10 would be highly recommended. updated by previous review on 2021-09-08"

"first we were in this season 4 times. rated because we had great experiences and not so great. with a few friends stopped the burger and fish was excellent. So we have recommended ourselves with another group of 8. six of us ordered the middleburger of the six, one! of us have medium. the rest was dried black burger. If I remember correctly, they gave us $0.60 because we ate the burgers on some wise because they were busy. 3. not ordered burger and the food was excellent. the last time we went, I tried the burger with medium again well and more like medium well and almost dried out. not so busy the afternoon. good place to eat just don't order a burger. they have not yet perfected."

"I met friends here who had dined here before. We ate in the bar area, but there was plenty of seating in multiple locations including outside. Live music being played outside! My friend ordered the quesadilla and it was huge and cheesy! I ordered the club sandwich and it was the best club I ever had! It was loaded with turkey, cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Delicious! Our server was also the bartender and she checked back often. Older venue, but food was worth the drive!"

"Our meals were really good. The fish and chips were the star generous serving size and high quality meal presented beautifully on a serving board. We also enjoyed the crab dip with pretzel. Great warm appetizer to share. The only suggestion that we have is that it would be great to have some sort of a heater system on the deck. It got very cold very quickly as the sun set and they could not accommodate us inside. Service: Dine in"

"Normally, my husband and I love eating at Rocky’s, but unfortunately yesterday it was not up to their usual high quality. After receiving our food, it was clear that the thighs on my husband’s two thigh plate were very overcooked, and even burnt. The mac and cheese bites he ordered as his sides were also cold in the middle. Upon receiving our second order after taking the first one back, the thighs were the same quality as the first order—burnt. The thigh on my two piece leg and thigh plate was also unfortunately burnt. We decided to eat our orders instead of taking them back again, but the chicken was very dry, and overcooked. The staff were kind and friendly as usual, but the food was unfortunately less than mediocre."
