"This place is disgusting! I ordered white rice with beans and chicken and the WHITE RICE HAD BUGS IN IT! How can you serve people white rice with a bug infestation in it and tell me you didn’t see it? To make it worse, I had to pay for it. Never coming here again. Would not recommend unless you like bug rice. And if that’s just with the rice, you can imagine how the cooks prep the food in the back."

"This is our family’s favorite Thai food restaurant. The food is always good. A lot of their business is take-out, so it’s never hard to get a table. The atmosphere is super chill with not-too-loud ambient music. They have happy hour daily, and once or twice a week they have a live music set in the evening. Their lunch specials are a great value. Servers are always super polite. And since it’s upstairs with lots of windows, you have a great view of the neighborhood. It’s really a gem.Vegetarian options: Almost any dish can come without meat so it’s super easy to have vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: We always bring our kiddo and the restaurant is really chill so it’s not hard to have a kid there.Parking: The lot in front is pretty tight usually but the lot in back is always available. We’ve never had trouble with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to reach the second floor."

"I ordered take out for dinner, here. When I went inside to pick up my order the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was smiling, so warm a delightful. I felt like I walked into a place where everyone had known me for years. The smell of the amazing food makes your mouth water. Everything in our meal was authentic and prepared to perfection. The entire experience from ordering to the taste of my meal, was fantastic. I look forward to dining in, next time. Thanks for the awesome experience."

"Food was great service was timely. Outside construction going on so our outdoor plans moved indoors. The waiter was efficient and timely w/food arrival but not very communicative or friendly. Frequent water and drinks refills were taken care of quickly. Good service, surroundings need work (ceiling had paint/patch work being done). Outside construction made entering and leaving cumbersome."

"This place is great for vegans! I was really shocked to find a restaurant that had vegan options in the middle of Florida, but thanks to Happy Cow I found out about this restaurant. It's just half a mile of 75 that's perfect! We ordered online and within 15 minutes our large order was ready for pickup! I ordered: edamame, miso soup, herbal tempura and herbal sushi. It was delicious! The tempura was light and crispy, the soup was tasteful and hot, and the sushi was great. Very recommended."

"My go to place for Mexican Seafood. Had family in town, so had to bring them to El Bucanero. Came early Saturday evening before the big dinner rush, so was able to get seated right away. Even when it's crowded, the line moves pretty quickly. They do a great job of getting people seated, served, and cleaned up for the next party. We had a party of 6, but they handle larger parties all the time. We were seated right away. Waiter immediately came to take the drink and appetizer orders. That came out within minutes and placed the main orders next. Most menu items are very large portions and probably best ordered family style. I've been here many times and try to order different items each time. This time was the Molcajete el Bucanero, Botana Mixta, Coco Loco, and Ceviche Hawaiano Tropical. The drink was the Michelada Bucanera. While waiting for your food, you can eat the tostada chips with the 3 different salsas on the table. They're very addicting and you'll quickly get full just eating the chips. The food is amazing every time. I've never ordered anything I didn't like. Seafood is extremely fresh every time and always presented nicely. Service is very fast and they're constantly checking on you throughout the meal. Highly recommend El Bucanero.for good seafood and good service."
