"I took a friend to this restaurant for her birthday on Wednesday, May 17th. I looked online at the pre-fixe menu which I had enjoyed several times in the past, and selection looked good. When I arrived we were given the regular menu, so I asked waitress for the pre-fixe one. She said she was only there two weeks and checked. She came back and said there was no pre fixe. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn't in. Waitress was the only one working that night. It was slow when we arrived for 6:00 reservation, but got busier as it got later. Service was a little slow but we didn't blame her. When we finally got the bill I paid by cash because we would have been there another twenty minutes with a credit card transaction. As I got up to leave my jacket got stuck on the back of my chair and ripped. I will say the food was good, but I resent that the restaurant does not update their website. Later, I remembered that I had gone there about two years ago with a friend on a Sunday evening. When I asked for the pre-fixe they said they didn't have it on the weekend. At that time I spoked to the manager and pointed out that the website stated prefix was every day, 4-7 p.m. He didn't seem too concerned but when the bill came we weren't charged for dessert. Now it is two years later and they still haven't updated their website. This is not right and I would't want anyone else to be misled. I left a message about this on the restaurant's website comment section on Thursday morning, but I haven't heard back from anyone."

"was not long in saskatoon and decided to have a nice steak dinner near our hotel on my birthday. he made them aware, and our server jessica also asked if we would celebrate something. the prizes are not for the weak heart,...I ordered the 7 unzen filet, medium rare, with a side of garlic garnel and my wife ordered the salmon. our server was excellent, would like to emphasize that jessica was fantastic. we ordered a few cocktails, delish, and instead brot, they serve them yorkshire pudding with garlic butter, thought I died and went into the sky, they were great. we also wanted to share the Caesar salad that used a Vinaiigrette base and she shared it well before the time and time was great! excited for our pornstars and we are quite disappointed. my steak came from medium and the salmon of my wife was over boiled and dry. I will say that the side garlics were cooked for perfection and well flavored. I have a big problem when I'm in a steak house and they can't cook it right, especially for $44. we have eaten most of it because we had hunger and did not want to wait, but recommended the server that has agreed to definitiw. the restaurant has adjusted the bill and again, jessica was wonderful. the additional disappointment was why they ask if they have a special occasion to find out that it is birthday of patrons and then do nothing against it, very sad. the 3 rating was original for the food otherwise would have given them 4. I would recommend, but probably not be back."

"I am very glad that I could try this place during the mtl à la table. our waiter was very nice, very attentive throughout the whole meal. and every cure arrived in a timely occasion. for the entreen we ordered the mushroom cappuccino was good, although the taste of the mushroom was very pronounced. we also go the grilled otopus, which was phenomenal and the foie gras torchon, which was not good. it was very embarrassing, the brioche brot with coward had more taste than the foie gras itself. for the second cure we ordered escargot there were 6 screws on a bed of large sea salt grains. the bark wagyu carpaccio was amazing! the meat mixed with the aïoli and the pecorino rasierwerk worked perfectly together! we also have the pumpkin risotto with goat cheese. the risotto was soft and perfectly cooked. the mix of walnuts, pumpkin and comminuted goat cheese worked perfectly together. for the third cure we ordered the tuna steak on the outside nicely lined and pink and soft on the inside. the lamb shoulder was tender and the meat fell directly from the bone. we also have the seafood bouillabaisse was disappointing. it was more of seafood with a sauce than a bouillabaisse and it lacked taste. for dessert they offered a plate with a lot of desserts to taste. the one thing that I would suggest the waiter is not in the opposite side where the bathrooms are chitchatting. it makes people think there is a huge line for the bathroom if there is no. 3.5 for eating the foie gras and the seafood bouillabaisse just missed the brand. 4.5 I did not go into the washroom because I thought there was a huge line. lonely and behold, my friends told me there was no line only the waiters who cried together."

"we are 2 chefs and my daughter 5 years old from the toskana visit are 2 dear friends in montreal i, when in the restaurant Saturday evening with my reservation and I don't know that the restaurant can have them to eat something for children............and this is not even the easiest dish or any pasta or huh or anything. Saturday evening! we first have the vitello tonato omg this dish was so cool full of decoration very small and 3 small and transparent vitello that they need an optical glasses. and we then have 5 teller about no child without dinner we have the cheese cake that I need to ask 3 times, and after 40 minutes finally arrive we also have 5 different dishes to finally find the plate of canard so that we finally found this very cool. do not think that my baby was without eating and the waitress approached me to ask my daughter to close her ipod. I was frustrated, but I have my friends that I was very happy to see them again because if I dessert and describe the time. after over 550$ tips in 4 people in a very small restaurant whiteout light almost and they want to eat so and not exactly the person next to them see or what they put in their mouth ok this is the perfect restaurant that I have so many restaurants in montreal an toronto for so many years visit, we don't really care about the price, but if the eating was good I haven't reacted my time of this absolutely acceptable restaurant that is"

"My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary at a fine dining restaurant. According to the reviews this place sounded like the perfect place. The parking was great, with lots of places to park. We came in and were seated right next to a wall and the waiter station. The place was lit for intimate settings which was romantic. We ordered the following dinner... Apps: Calamari and Louisiana roll Salad: Heirloom tomato and Gumbo Entree: Diver Scallops and 16oz Ribeye (medium) Drinks: Cabernet, Spring Branch Blossom Sandia The Apps were the best out of all the meal and it just went downhill from there. The Heirloom tomato salad was so sweet I could only finish 1/4 of it. It had too much balsamic vinegar and everything was sweet, there need to be something add to break that up. The Gumbo was an off menu and it only had chicken with huge pieces of peppers and the roux didn't have much depth. Also, was mostly rice. My scallops were off the menu and were peppered on the outside served with mushrooms and saffron couscous. The saffron was SO overpowering that all I had was one bite, the mushrooms were scorched so the were uneditable, and the pepper on the outside of the scallops were burnt as well. I had to scrape off the outside of them in order to eat them, which were cooked nicely. My husband ordered a medium ribeye served with a side of lobster grits and the peppercorn green sauce. The ribeye was cooked medium rare, which is disappointing since it is $56. But he said the grits and sauce was good. When it came time for dessert, we were so full and I was disappointed with just about everything, that we declined it. Well, apparently the waiter was not too happy and said I thought y'all were celebrating and walked away annoyed. I guess a $350 meal was not enough money for him. He also seemed annoyed that we didn't order a bottle of wine but instead did single serve. Since we were seated by the waiter station my husband was bummed minimum 7 times in the back. Overall for the price we expected top notch food, like Gordon Ramsay expectations. It was so disappointing and not worth the money. Also, I noticed that all the waiters were male and only the hostess were female. Not sure if it was just the night we went but found that interesting."
