"We loved this restaurant until yesterday. I made a reservation for my wife's birthday and it did not go well from the time we arrived. The hostess was unfriendly and copped an attitude when we requested a different booth from the she lead us to when we arrived. We ordered drinks and a shrimp cocktail both were excellent. We both ordered the 1/2 chicken vesuvio with salads. The salads and salad dressing (ranch) were great. Both chicken dishes were under cooked to the point you could see red when separating the leg from the thigh. The breast was also under cooked and tasted funny. The vesuvio potatoes were very good. We sent back both dinners to be cooked again. When the food came back it tasted worse so we told our server there was no way we were going to eat this food. She asked if we wanted to order something else, but at this point we lost our appetite. We did eat most of the vesuvio potatoes as they were good and then ordered a brandy ice dessert with was also very good. They did not charge us for the chicken dinners nor should they, but it was disappointing that the manager didn't address the situation in person and offer some comments. Also in my reservation I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, but no one made any mention of it. To summarize the hostess doesn't know how to properly execute her job and the chef on duty doesn't know how to cook chicken. Our server was attentive and was as helpful as possible. She was our advocate when returning the food, a job that should have been completed by the manager. It will be a while before we return to give it another try."

"My family and I attended the Easter buffet at 3pm. There were 10 of us total. We were sat promptly and our server came over to the table immediately to take our drink order. So far, so good...I was impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. We eachordered the buffet at $31.95 per person which included non-alcoholic beverages (which is great, because we don't drink). Wewere all served our sodas in small plastic cups, which we drank in almost one sip, and were left to wonder if and when we wouldever get a refill (FYI most of us had Coke, so bringing a pitcher would have been great). I had ginger ale, asked for a refilland never received anything. Now, on to the buffet, which sounded much better than it looked. It was being portioned out bystaff (which is totally understandable), but it was cold. The mashed potatoes were real, but completely tasteless, the greenbeans almandine was mushy, penne with marinara was dry and clumped together, the chicken marsala was the only menu item wortheating (it was flavored very well), deviled eggs were room temperature, eggs Florentine bake was burnt on the bottom and stuckto the pan, the ham looked fine (it was just a water logged buffet ham, so pretty hard to mess up), and the prime rib was cut sothick that it was chewy and even the au jus did nothing for it. There were butter packets on our table but no rolls, biscuits,or bread of any type. My 84 year old grandmother asked for some bread and was told that the buffet doesn't come with bread, butsince everyone has been asking, she will bring a few rolls, which she did, but you would think she would have brought bread forthe entire table, and not make it seem like she was doing us a HUGE favor by bringing 2 rolls for my grandma lol! There weretwo a la carte options for dessert, carrot cake or banana cream pie, and each was $6.95. My husband and 10 year old son orderedcarrot cake, and I ordered banana cream pie. The cake was dry and very small, and my pi"
