"I’m so glad we wound up stopping here because the other place we were going to was closed. I love oldschool diners, especially the outdated roadside Americana ones with steel exteriors…. But they almost never have anything vegan. This place has an entirely separate vegan menu, where just about every diner classic is accounted for. We asked for one of the several empty tables through the window, overlooking the river. A little, but it happened. Food was meh. Risotto was overboiled and the squash in it was understated. "The restaurant is outdated. The reception was unprofessional and lacking overall. Our server was very nice. Unfortunately, her professionalism and attention to detail was nonexistent. She had a strong cigarette odor. Our table location was next to a door leading to the outside seating area. There was a draft coming under the door that completely froze our feet, and quickly made our food cold. We have been to their other location many times, and had great experiences!"

"Mediocre visit. It was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Went before a movie; 2 cheeseburgers w/ everything no drinks. Also split a wedge which was tasty but you could tell it had been sitting in the frig for a while bc the lettuce endcuts were brown. Blue cheese salad dressing very good. Burgers were extremely bland. Just no flavor in the beef there were no char marks that IMO adds flavor what makes the meat tastier. Burgers sat on a ciabatta roll that was too big. Disappointed bc a good way to tell if a restaurant is special or not is how they cook a simple hamburger—which is pretty hard to mess up."

"Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my review! Today my husband took me out on a lunch date! We had the Loaded Fries, Chicken Diablo Pasta, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Cheesecake and Churro Donuts. The Loaded Fries were good. I asked for a side of chili (delish) and some jalapeños. The fries are a mix of twist cut, waffle cut and regular fries. I thought that was a lot of fun! The chicken Diablo Pasta was good but not spicy (to me) at all. It's a vodka sauce with a small spice hint. The toated bread they serve with it was banging! My bbq pulled pork sandwich was really good. It wasn't dry and had a great flavor. Only issue was I wasn't able to pick it up hahaha the nacho cheese that comes on it basically glued my bun to the plate haha I'm a HUGE cheesecake fan and this one was eh. It's a no bake (which I don't mind) but it has a solid pudding/jello texture to it. It's not bad but if you are a big cheesecake fan, you may be left slightly wanting. Now, those churro donuts... OMGG... they were so good!! The bourbon caramel was okay on its own but i liked it better on the churro. The chocolate I was not a fan of and I suggest they change it to a hazelnut spread Overall, I was extremely satisfied with our lunch date. Service was a bit slow and it took about 15 min from ordering our desserts for them to come out but we just chatted. Their menu is small and basic but it's sufficient If you are still with me, thanks again for reading! Have an amazing day!"

"As I sit tight with my pants, my heart is as enlarged as my stomach. I just made the Thanksgiving Festival from America's Pie and again crushed every kitchen they offer. I never thought I'd take Thanksgiving. We have always made parents or in-law children, but as we know, this year is different. Truly, it sneaked me up and I gave them the night before picking up (Thanksgiving Eve) and was happy to sneak in the last remaining spots. The menu had a large number of choices in each category and the portions were enough for leftovers. Salat(1/2), entries(1/4), pages(3/8). The Entree category not only contained a large part of delish and moist protein, it included engraving, dinner roll cranberry. Considering that each meal 3-8 ounces pages some of my family peeled for 1/2 page change. I was able to taste 5 of the 8 page choices by parts, and they were plastered with traditional toughness over everything I could have whipped up during the madness of a pandemic. One last perk was the complete adjustment of every single meal, no fighting over the selection of the menu! At $25/pp it was a steal, I could not provide that much varied food for the price let alone the time, effort and headaches of shopping and cooking. There was even an option to buy additional pages($3) and 2 different desert options to buy($5). We did not get any additional pages bc with 6 people we were able to cover all page choices, but you know we met both bread pudding options-AP specialties and a must if you order over delicious!"

"I'm also in the same business, but I have never seen that kind of service before. It was horrible. We ordered drinks and had to wait forever. The funny thing is, when we told the manager, he went and got the order ticket and showed us the time on it. He said only 3 minutes had passed since we ordered the drinks. Unfortunately, he didn't even think that the server might have put those orders 15 minutes late into the system. We had to remind her 2 times for the drinks after that she put it in as per the ticket. If it happened only one time, it's totally understandable because we are all human and can make mistakes, but it happened almost every time with our drinks."

"I love this place. My wife and I went on a Saturday, for my birthday. I specifically wanted to try their brain sandwich. I like to try unusual foods! This an old time local pub, my favorite type of restaurant. It was cozy with all the typical trappings of a well established, older restaurant bar; I'd call it family friendly. The brain sandwich was deep fried, smothered in onions and brown mustard. It was surprisingly good I'd order it again. My wife had the Reuben and said it was delicious. The bar tender was very nice... all in all this was a great experience, a fun birthday. I'll go back!"

The food quality is severely lacking - the burger was overly soggy, as if it had been dropped in water before being served. The onions were tasteless, and the patty itself was bland and unseasoned. Even the fries were unsalted and reminiscent of frozen store-bought fries. Overall, the food fell far short of expectations, and it would be better to opt for a fast food chain instead of dining here."
